I never really comment much on your videos but I've listened to a ton of your hypnosis videos and I've listened to them so much I could almost recite the beginning of each of them back!   • very good vid, jer. people especially underestimate the importance of conscious breathing. eckart tolle, a very wise man you should check out if you havent already says like "while we're consciously breathing, no thoughts can intrude". true. when in panic, just focus on breathing. check with yourself. if you're still breathing, everything is still "fine" so far.

    but...one question, man: by teaching everybody how to hypnotize themselves....arent u afraid of getting unemployed here? hehe... :P

  • @thekeyboarddude Firstly, thank you for the comment. It is true what you said about the value of breathing. Secondly, I am not employed here on youtube and self hypnosis information is vastly available online and off. I just felt that people could benefit from the information. If people find that they no longer need my videos that is fine! :) I am not here for myself.

  • I've read about a method where you also concetrate on every part of your body seperately, "relaxing" them muscle by muscle and then 'suggesting' a feeling of warmth and heaviness, which then leeds to feeling as if you are outside of your body, hovering above it. I've found it a bit tiring.. this seems a bit more simple. Have you heard of such a method and what do you think about it?

  • @notrwhitecrow That is Progressive Relaxation, one of the most common practices for hypnosis and relaxation--I've done it for years. Our choir director taught it as a way to loosen and relax pre-performance as well as daily. If you're stressed and tense, you sing poorly. There are a lot of great, free ones online (including jnspire's own).  It should be relaxing, rather than tiring, but I find it is a good thing for night if you tend to get sleepy from it.

  • @notrwhitecrow Yes as @tuber33 said it is called "Progressive Relaxation" and yes it is effective however the way that I do it is a bit different! :) and.. I will share this tip with you... concentrate on relaxing each part of your body... muscle by muscle... and suggest that they become lighter and lighter and that light feeling and sensation makes you relax more and more deeply! :)

    Less stress on you and the effectiveness of the technique ALL-IN-ONE... :)

  • @notrwhitecrow I have heard of this.. it is called the "PROGRESSIVE RELAXATION" method. I find it very effective but I do not always say the thing about heaviness... that part is not necessary.

  • I trained myself to oversleep my alarm clock on weekends and hear it during the week.. in the past it was the other way round xD

  • It's funny, I did step 1 throughout high school. I never used an alarm clock and I haven't since.

  • @Blitzingtakin very cool... that was the whole point of what I was saying through this that everyone is different and some people may benefit from some of the information, that you may not need. That does not make the information useless it just means that it is something that you may not need use yourself. :)
