Rafa beats Roger, because he as a lefty can hit superhigh topspins onto Roger onehanded backhand. Fed cant use effectively his superb slice backhand, coz Rafa can hit it back with forehand. Fed often beat Nole (& other powerhitters) because he made good use of his slice backhand, which he hits onto twohanded backhand so the rally is interrupted and the player answer with a harmless shot which Fed kills with his forehand.

Nole´s backhand grip is a different one than Rafa´s. He can hit high balls

Best one right now, but not the best of all time. I'd rate Safin's, Agassi's, Borg's, Nalbandians, and Kafelnikov's higher. Davydenko actually has a pretty similar backhand to Djokovic, although he is like 5 shorter than Djokovic.

@derekanaya Can't you read? This is a compilation from Madrid Masters 2011 tournament only. Roger lost to Rafa in semis there. Djokovic beat Federer nine times. That's more than enough against someone who's "retardedly good playing agaisnt poeple with two handed backhands."

@derekanaya It's pretty hard to compare the two because Federer is 6 years older. Federer got his first 4 victories (over Novak) while Djokovic was still a teenager. On other side Djokovic is better now when Federer is 30 y.o.

When you look at the results, Federer is the best player ever and no one can deny that.

Sorry to intervene. We must notice, that Fed mostly loses to Rafa, even in his prime. We know that Fed was the only one to beat a super Nole this year and almost got him in NY, too. And we see, that Rafa has no means to beat Nole in top shape. So, let us suppose, Fed becomes a bit stronger and consistant: It is a TicTacToe-Situation: Rafa over Fed, Fed over Nole, Nole over Rafa. The reason for it: different backhand techniques.

@ulizinho You have some point there, at times it can be a Tic-Tac-Toe although in 2011 Djokovic dominated both Federer and Nadal (7-1). He beat Fed in 3 out of last 4 GS meetings. But yeah, if you ask me who is the toughest match-up for Djokovic - it's an in-form Federer, It amazez me the most how Djokovic crushed Nadal this year...unbeliveable. It was 14-4 and now it's 16-13.

I think that if Nalbandian played his best against Djokovic, he would win. He is calm, better strokes, more power, and more consistent.
