  • You can see the turbine sucking up water off of the runway lol.

  • Excellent video !

  • I see the wing which curves!

  • ロールスロイスのエンジンは音が良い!

  • What seat where uo sitting in????????

  • The best engine in service! :)

  • @vgmaster777ER Ge90s

  • They don't spool up the engines at all, just shove it straight to full power. Little dangerous if you ask me!

  • @jonny96 how come?

  • @Keelz7196 Your normally stabilise them to about 50-55% N1 to make sure every things ok, also depending on the life cycles of each engine, they may spool up at different times. If your on a wet runway, go to take off power and only get it from one engine as the other is spooling up, you could risk veering off the runway with that much asymmetrical thrust. Its just standard procedure for most modern commercial jets.

  • I have watched this vid 100+ times but never noticed that, it looks like the front end of a black 747, but not a SR-71, I can not identify it.

  • @springhill1958 The front end is made like a 747 but the aft is designed ilke a DC10,It is a hollow structure for fire drill practice, at Manchester airport

  • @Bakhti66 Correct! Heathrow has one too!

  • @springhill1958 i saw that to

  • Unseen video of PIA

    watch?v=XAptek4tI8M

  • good take off

  • At 1.17, is that a SR-71 Blackbird on the tarmac?

  • @diefenbunker At 1:17, it's a airplane for fire training. watch?v=wW6UoowuqOs for a closer view

  • Thanks to all who enjoyed this video.

  • @Bakhti66 whats PIA?

  • @PetShopAzula111 pakistan international airways!!!! :O

  • @The1Macbook airlines*

  • Sometime I'd rather listen to airplane engines than have sex with my wife.

  • 0:45 - Enter your text here... I dont think you can enter any text there .. it would get sucked into the engine right away... :)

  • owning one of youre own private 777s wud be beautiful. imagine beign able to descend to 500 feet mid flight over a scenic part of the flight to get a good view then climb back upto cruise. that is something commercial flights will likely never get chance to happen. they could do it but it would use more fuel and be considered a safety risk

  • PIA needs 787 now xD

  • enter my text, where ?

  • When did the GE90 ever get this loud? All other 777-300ER takeoffs sound different!

  • @EmadIV must have been a fulllll thrust take off

  • do not turst PIA ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

  • @chicagodesiz Why?

  • @chicagodesiz i do

  • WooooooooW ... Nice

  • Love the sound of the engines spooling up at 1:47

  • I put my text in, anybody knows what happened?

  • those engines are bigger than my condo

  • Muito bom esse video, gostei...excelente imagens

  • I flew twice on the 777. I love these take offs showing the inlet and condensation. I did some calculations on the GE90 engines for fan shaft power. I referenced an ihi.co.jp pdf paper on line. Speaking of the -94 and -115 versions respectively, the fans turn at 2850 and 2550 RPM, of diameters 123 and 128 inches, with fan shaft torque of 225,000 and 293,500 ft lb, and power level of 122,000 and 142,480 horsepower (includes LP compressor). The fan shaft is maraging steel of 55 Rc hardness!

  • @springhill1958

    Really useful info man thanks

  • look at the size off 55,000 BHP haha 2 of them is 110,000BHP!!!! (brake horse power)

  • its massive the GE90-115

    of PIA

    Great video

    Milan

  • Do PIA have power supply ac in the cabin of the 777?

  • Ótimo seu video, gostei muito...

vejam os meus videos: decolagem de vitoria

  • WOW WOOOOWWW WOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW, How can i gain so much pleasure from the sound of an aircraft its so not normal!

  • ive flown on a 777-300 ER from Singapore to France , long flight but wonderful engine sound!

  • hey, PIA goes direct to USA from pakistan. that was a few years back when it had to stop in manchester

  • If this engine is attacked to 3,000 pound car, it will go from 0-60 in 0.05 seconds.

  • @waves1of9terror 145.000 horse power is alot if compare to those tiny car engines wich develop 240 hp.

  • 17 people who disliked the video are faggots

  • 0:29

    That sound is SO mighty!!!!

  • god each night i'm dreaming that i am the pilot of this beautiful engine

  • love the sound <3

a couple of questions if you can answer :)

    777-200 ER or LR?

    economy?

    seat #?

  • @777fsx200 300ER,Club,I think25k

  • @Bakhti66 are you sure this is club and seat: 25k?, i booked this seat and its economy...in 300er

  • @777fsx200 i think they only have 7770300er

  • @gbriff No, they have the 200LR and ER too.

  • Just really impressive. I cannot still believe how they managed to make flights those big boys godzillas.

  • nice!!!

  • @desocupadoldn nice answer..

  • economy... seat cant guess ;-)

  • I love me some of that General Electric action. Most powerful, and largest in the world, along with being a two time record holder. My hat is off to the engineers at GE.

  • I was damn scared of taking of in a couple hours. But now I think watching this video I feel a little bit better to ride on PIA. Looks quite fun actually, like a huge rollercoaster. :D

  • Awesome

  • great people fly with

  • Great vid bakhti66.

  • Geez they really get moving on the runway~!

  • Flew on 777s in business class and its not as noisy a that!

    Powerfull aircraft

  • There's my house! Right there! lol Love take offs!

  • how come GE90 is so damn loud

  • @UAsar I don't have a real answer for that question other than that the GE90 is the largest jet engine ever produced.

  • @justinkatz441 its GE90-110B actually being most powerful and largest, as they have 4 variants, but this engine is never that loud despite being with largest fan diameter.

    seems it needs engine flush.

  • gotta love 777s

  • Boeing 777-2 or 3 ??

  • Flew on a United 777 this year and thought the plane was really smooth and very powerful!

  • Thanks to all the people who enjoyed and commented on the video

  • @Bakhti66 fantastic video.

  • One of the best videos of aircraft take off I have Seen. Gives the effect as if we are inside the aircraft. Hats off dear poster

  • Nice video. Is that an SR-71 on the ground at 1:15?

  • Sounds like a bag of spanners! Rolls-Royce is what you want.

  • fast & furious movie fans shit their pants when the GE90 shows what it got.

  • WOW, the sound is very good!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • WOW The soud is great!

  • the cork screw pattern on the fan spinner is to scare birds on the ground

  • it's actually used so air traffic controllers can tell if the engine is running.

  • thats a big ass engine lol

  • i was on this flight!!!!!!!!!

  • Look at that big assed engine, jeez, talk about a view blocker lol. Sounded good though.

  • Didnt they ask you to turn off your electronic device (camera) before takeoff?

  • im sorry it might only be the 777-300ER that has diff engines ?

  • can any one say why boeing 777's have diffirent types of engines from , for example boeing 757 or 767, is it just me or do their engines seem shorter .

  • Omg I hate taking off but im going to cyprus tomorrow and i'll get them HORRIBLE butterflies! Im just glad it only last's seconds :D

  • Why PIA 777LR land at EGCC (Manchester) when its going to YZZ (Toronto)...? I mean 777LR have the range to fly direct to USA and Canada from Pakistan...

any body can give me answer...?

  • @blakstadboy PIA flies from Pakistan to Manchester and onwards to NY. But It flies from Pakistan direct to Toronto in 14 hrs.

  • @Bakhti66 no the reason it stops in manchester is that before heading off for america they check any passengers who are on the no fly list or who may have boarded illegally

  • @Bakhti66 US traffic restrictions. Inbound flights from Pakistan to the USA cannot fly direct because of security. They have to go via Manchester or somewhere else where they get checked again for suspicious cargo or passengers. That's the way it is for now but MAN enthusiasts are happy to see PIA with the 772LR

  • @blakstadboy direct flights from Pakistan to US are not allowed by FAA.

  • @blakstadboy security, has to stop en route to the USA

  • @blakstadboy hey i wanted to ask that same question.

the b772LR can fly far distances and the longest flight for them i guess is the emirates flight to lax and iah.

why would pia need to stop in manchester and then go to jfk why dont they just have direct flights

  • @bigkevinpetrona PIA doesnt have permission to fly direct to US.

  • @blakstadboy PIA does not have permission to fly direct TO US, so they stopover in Manchester when going to US, but coming back they fly direct to Pakistan.

  • @blakstadboy 777LR means long range it flies to toronto from karachi, lahore, isb directly nonstop within hrs

  • @blakstadboy flies non-stop to Toronto, PIA makes a stop at manchester on USA flights becz they dnt hav rights for non-stop flights into US for "security" reasons -___-

  • I LOVE THE SOUND OF THE ENGINE...

  • which airline?

  • @mrbenjitv it's pakistan international airline running from islamabad to John keendy intl via Manchester or from Karachi to Toronto via Manchester or sometimes Heathrow.

  • The boeing 777 has huge engine !

  • which one is best boeing 747 or 777 ? if 777 is the latest brand why they have 2 engines while in 747 their r 4..

  • @kamiamm90 Because one engine on a 777 is more powerful than an engine on a 747 and it's more efficient to have two.

  • @kamiamm90 777 Has 2 VERY powerful engines, 747's have 4 Normal engines, they don't produce enough thrust to carry a 747, that's why it need 4

  • @kamiamm90 The engines on the 777 are twice as powerful as the 747's engines. Remember, the 747 was introduced in the early 70s, the 777 in the mid 90s.

  • beautiful sound

  • A GE guy told me that the fan shaft winds up 1/4 turn at full throttle - woah!

  • why do they have that white spiral pattern put in the centre of the engine?

    anyways great vid

  • @infoseeker229 Two reasons...one, so that folks on the tarmac can see that the engine is running & not walk in front of & accidentally get sucked into the engine. Two, the strobing of the white spiral when the engine is in operation scares off birds who might think they can fly into and/or through the engine while it is in flight.

  • Awesome man, PIA should also replace their old 737-200 and get the 737-800s series!

  • Beautiful . . .

  • @mythicalireland your vids r also beautiful

  • I do this flight on FS9 all the time haha... awesome video mate

  • PIA is shitttttt

  • @dhonirbk Yea right.. you dont know what your talking about...

PIA is one of the best Airlines out there.. If they are shit, why are the then winning prices for their awesome service?? and why are they going by the airline with smoothest landings and takeoffs??

  • @dhonirbk You're a trollllll

  • i think i just jizzed

  • I could watch these videos all day. I'm only 10 days away from my trip accross the pond on a BA 777-200.

  • So i enter my text in the engine.

  • can i put this video in my facebook profile?

  • @CHECHENVIP20002000 I am really sorry, but I can't let you do that.

  • @Bakhti66 ok no problem...

  • @Bakhti66 Why not

    Please Reply

  • @Bakhti66 Its still under your name. If he does.

  • @P40BH I am sorry ,I don't understand you, what did you mean by .íf he does'?

  • @Bakhti66 I mean he can upload you vu=id to facebook. I wont mess your video up or infringe you copyright

  • @Bakhti66 He means by if the other guy were yo upload it to his FB Profile to share

  • @Bakhti66

He meant if he does put the video on his profile..

  • @Bakhti66 That was someone else who said that

  • @Bakhti66 Now why does that remind me of HAL... :-)

  • @Bakhti66 technically he is allowed to click the share button and post it to his facebook wall?

  • @CHECHENVIP20002000 Yes, you can. It has been uploaded to the public domain, so just linking to it on your facebook profile/embedding it does not infringe his copyright.

  • @CHECHENVIP20002000 ofcourse, thats why youtube added that "share" button!

  • @CHECHENVIP20002000 YES U CAN JUST GO TO SHARE.

  • @CHECHENVIP20002000 according to youtube policy u can.. just share on the option below the vid.. ur not stealing anything. cheers

  • is the tarmac broken?

  • the white spiral marking on the fan spinner is used to scare birds away from the plane. it doesnt always work, but it is effective.

  • very cool. It's a shame jet engines can't be quiet like a bird

  • Whats the smoke from the engine?

  • @gitargud7 It is condensation or water vapor not smoke.

  • incredible machine.

  • It truly is a miracle!! Whenever I fly I try to be seated in the same position so I can watch those "man made beasts"...kick out some serious power. I love it!!!

  • Bakhti66, dear friend you have to help me find the seat which gives you this view. Is it in front of the 2nd door or behind it??

  • OMFG I <3 GE 90!!!

  • I think I am a bigger fan of the PW engines

  • It sounds like u are filming outside the plane

  • what was the seat number u recorded this video in.. is it business class or economy

  • absolutely beautiful

  • Excellent vid...;-)

  • nice water intake

  • Do they serve halal pork onboard?

  • It sounds like it got a loose piston..

  • That is one big engine. Gotta love the sound also

  • goos shit man

  • Holy crap...those engines are huuuge :D

  • @Shreytherockstar1 They Are General Electric GE90-110B Engines.

  • @AirCanadaA55555A

    I may be wrong....

but think this is a 777-300er, which would make the engines the -115B's. See the little extra bit of leading edge slat by the engine pylon... I think that is unique to the -300... but may be incorrect...

It is definitely a raked wingtip 777, so either the 200LR or 300.

  • @0m1nous I 100% Agree With You There, I Mean Like The 200LR/300ER Wings Look The Same, But I Think The Registrations On The Wing So That Identifys The Aircraft, I Have No Idea What Type It Is But I Know For A Fact That This Is Definently A Raked Wing Boeing 777.

  • @AirCanadaA55555A damn...

was hoping you knew... now that is going to bug the crap out of me! :)

  • @0m1nous Dont worry, I know a guy who knows it, he said it is a Boeing 777-200LR, actually I was not thinking clearly, if you hear a General Electric GE90-115B, it mostly has that high B note and the General Electric GE90-110B has an A note pitch sound after initial whining, like a General Electric GE90-94B, hope that helps.

  • @AirCanadaA55555A I can't believe he hears the sounds and identifies the notes! Is he a musician or something?

I like aviation but why does it matter so much which type of 777 is in this video? Or the exact notes of the engines?! Lol!!

  • @cookiecave1283 That is one way to express it and NO, I am NOT a musician.

  • eww thanks for uploading, now I know not to fly in the 777.

  • @thermo1984 We Dont Fucking Care!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @AirCanadaA55555A LOL a pissed off fan boy. Eh whatever canuk go fly a kite, my comment was for the video poster. You may like that engine rattle but I do not. Good day

  • @thermo1984 First Of All, I Dont Live In Vancouver Foolish One, Second Of All, This Aint A Good Camera, Too Much Clogs, Now Go Fuck Off Idiot!

  • Comment removed

  • @thermo1984 Oh, Im Sorry, Are You Making A Big Fool Out Of Yourself By Saying Im A Canuck, Probably You Sir Have A Low I.Q. How The Hell Can You See Me, You Dont Know What I Even Look Like, Oh, WHAT!?

  • @AirCanadaA55555A But on a serious note, the use of profanity in this man's upload detracts from his work. As a plane enthusiast I actually like this video, I only posted my opinion. On a side note I use the term Canuk not derogatory but only as a combo of Canada and the UK and only after looking at your hometown on your profile. But your use of foul language only proves that you are the one with the low IQ, so who is the idiot now?
