That was funny. As far as steroids go, I think they should be legal myself. It's illegal to take steroids but some drunken idiot can get into his car at night and go kill someone! That's screwed up! The laws in this country couldn't be more hypocritical! And the so called dangers of steroids couldnt be more exaggerated! They're no more dangerous than any other legal drug! Only if you abuse them can they be dangerous, just like all the legal drugs!

Actually, I think you missed my point so I'll try this again. Alcohol is LEGAL thus people drink it to excess every day and then go get into there cars thinking they haven't had too many and go kill someone on the road. Steroids are completely illegal and don't intoxicate you like alcohol can. I'll make the point again. It's just hypocritical for one to be legal and not the other especially when the potentially more dangerous one is what is legal.

99% of those who criticize athletes for taking steroids would not hesitate for a second to shoot it up themselves if it meant a multi-million dollar contract. It's the fans who lusted for home runs, and that's what steroids delivered. If the players are to blame, then so are the fans equally, and certainly the owners and commissioner who were all too happy to turn their back to the 25-inch bicep-inducing moneymakers.

You can call me a liar, I would understand, but I am 31 years old and to this day I have yet to be drunk or high. I would never in a million years take steroids. My conscience would bother the hell out of me. I would lay awake at night knowing that every fan and fellow player would look at my accpmplishment with questions would destroy me. I would hate to have my lifes work questioned.
