Yes, Yohji has filed for bankruptcy, but to his credit, the day after the filing was announced he was picked up for restructuring by Integral Partners, so he will continue to design.
I thought this collection was really off the mark for YY in so many ways, (as was his men's line for SS2010) and I'm hoping it was just a temporary blip in an otherwise stellar career.
It seemed like he was trying to appeal to a younger crowd, and it lacked much of the integrity and depth of past collections.
