It can be fun to kick the difficulty down a bit and go rampage the missions by yourself if you want. The mission on the Desert can be good to play by yourself to practice flying.

@swordsmanx75 I did and the AI shot me down with a T-90 :O... how the hell did that happen since the cannon can't be pointed straight up in the air? Anyway, Onslaught mode is fun as hell, just blasting those AI's up. Got an insane killstreak with the M-24 Sniper Rifle ;)

@acphire when you load up the start place and you have options to play campaing and online, so you go to the multiplayer section and scroll to the play with friends then it says at the top change clan tag name so you press select on ps3 or whatever button you use on xbox that is whatever..

Onslaught is awesome, but seriously I can never find an open public game on normal. Anyways the kills on this compared to any other mode are more fun for me. You still see the Killing an Enemy so it's still rewarding and then the kills you can do, ridiculous on this map I hit a tank with a rocket launcher, but there were like 5 people in the way so it went through them and hit the tank and blew it up I got way too many kills on that one.

I would argue, that getting 3 buddies & piling into this can lead to a different type of fun that a ranked game cannot. There's lots of ways to make this more challenging or interesting for yourself. Can go for speed runs, gimmick runs, all sorts of things.
