I am so happy that he's done well this year and I hope he only the best in the coming years as he should flourish and become the best at what he does no matter his position on the field. @2hot2tell I like him. We've been missing a FB for awhile and Hue Jackson found ways to use him. As much as I watch Pac-10 football (UCLA fan), I didn't watch him a whole lot in college. I liked how he was used as a receiver (and you probably hated that 4th down TD pass he caught against the seahawks), but he's proved to be a nice weapon and I think he was snubbed of the pro bowl.

I like Sarkisian and all, but I'm not a fan of this offensive plan where Jake hangs in the pocket. I just feel like we could have beaten Notre Dame, Oregon, and Arizona State if Jake ran the ball at will like he did his freshman year.

Locker is a huge threat when he gets out and runs, but Sarkisian's offensive style will translate much better to the NFL. With this year's experience, Locker will make a tremendous NFL QB. He'll be a bit more patient and powerful in the pocket, but he'll be able to sprint like crazy when he needs to. He may be a legitimate double threat in the NFL, if that's at all possible. He's like a fast Ben Roethlisberger. :)

It's a hard call. He could make a ton of money if he enters the draft this year, and he'd probably be picked as the first or second QB, which would be tremendous. I think he'd benefit a ton from staying one more year, though. I want to see him get to a bowl game. Plus, if he stays one more year, he'll be totally refined, and the odds of him failing in the NFL will be a ton less.

I don't want Locker to be a highly-paid benchwarmer...

yea i thought so too. but at times it paid off. for example, against arizona, when jake threw tha td to middleton, he had space to run for about 15 untouched yards. but he kept patient and it paid off. but yea it would have been nice to c jake use his athletic ability more.

Wait did you say locker was over rated? He is probably the most under rated athlete in college football. He's not an accurate thrower but I'd argue he is probably in the top three for pure running ability. People like to compare him to Tebow but I've watched them both play and Locker has a better arm (not as accurate though) and he's 3 times the runner that Tebow is.
