I just put this song on my ipod, TODAY! I grew up with this song. I remember listening to it in the car at night as a child and sleeping to the melody. I am not native american. I supposedly live in an area long time ago where the natives were traveling and died of cold weather conditions. Creepy? No! I feel their spirits and I love their music. Live on natives, live on! :D
The tune bespeaks a majestic kingdom in which the tallest subjects in the spiritual sphere are seen to be nestled in a misty valley of the natural realm.
@MysticSojourner hi Mystic, do you know the complete story? where i can find it ? thanks for your help!! Now im inventing a beautiful story of the redwoods!! uu
I think I'm addicted to this - I can't stop listening to it! It's so beautiful and happy. I still can't figure out if that is an instrument or just the most perfect human whistler. I don't know of any instrument that can imitate the human whistle that well. Does anybody know? I think Cusco rules!! All their music is beautiful.
Whenever I get stressed out or feel down this song along with numerous other cusco songs brings me up and simply makes me feel happy to be alive and privilaged to be here to enjoy this group. ThankYou Cusco
When Michael Holm, founder of Cusco saw the california redwood he said:God build Himself a cathedral.Michael Holm also heads a worldwide organication called Trees for the World.I have all of Cusco's songs on my MP3 player,I listen to them on my way to work and back, each way about 1 hour 1/2,20 minutes of the way I walk and I like to have this song it gives a bounce to your step.
it depends. It could be a happy song, or a sad song. It mostly depends on your apreciation, your sensibility. Personally, it's both a happy and sad song. I think Cusco looked more for the spiritual side, than for another side :s
@zAiviloz It's a beautiful piece. When I was a teenager I listened to music that others didn't and I am glad I did! Mainstream music is nothing but superficial crap for the most part anyway!
i agree with texxwilson1 i love this music to death!!! if i could go to prfessional wreasting or WWE( which i know is fake) but i would use this as my theme music. I LOVE THIS MUSIC MAN!!!1 THANK U CUSCO!!!!!
such a soothing tune
