  • Put an end to all of the guilt that you hold inside from the choices that you have made. Start life over with the slate wiped clean. Moreover, ask God for eternal forgiveness through applying the death and resurrection of Jesus to your life of sin within the quietness of your bedroom tonight. As an unrepentant sinner myself, I made this decision around 15 years ago. This is the most important decision that you could ever make. - Romans 10:9-10

  • You know its funny cause i feel as though Tolle makes a lot of money off of people seeking identity in his teachings when he preaches to do the exact opposite. Even though I love his ideas and philosophy it seems a lot of his followers have this "enlightened" attitude and I can never tell if it's because they've experienced the "now" as Tolle puts it or if its due to some subtle form of ego that even they're unaware of.

  • What's with the tired eyes - get some shut eye 'now' not tomorrow, not in a sec. But right now =+D

  • love the rock climbing analogy! i think that's how most males feel about sex!! :)

  • "Waves crushing against the solid rock, as thousands of fishes swim towards the stream trying to reach the same conclusion, and all they needed to do was to look inside themselves"

    - Ronnie Dersgaard

  • I know another way of "stepping out of the noise of thinking". It's called: "doing something" - "working" -"playing" - "practicing"...seems self-evident to me! No big insight - unless, of course, you have a self-denigrating need to be subservient to someone like Mr. Tolle who will tell you this in a million different, philosophically incoherent ways.

  • What exactly is it that is "being dragged along by every though that arises"?

  • I read, "the power of now" - a year ago or so. Like the first comments - in the first month - i thought I had awakened /enlightened, because being in now, breathing, feeling your body those techniques really work. The problem is : as your ego knows now, that it can be trcked so easily you will begin to underestimate the importance of meditating and you subconciously start to avoid these routines. Maybe it is so only in my case so, beacuase i have relatively weak power of will and

  • @coolcatch5

after all i have to live my "practical life" to study, do sports etc.. Eckhart's theory is too superficial to work in the long run - you have to know your enemy - your ego/brain better. I would reccomend for reading:

    A. Freud "The Ego and the Mechanisms of Defence"

    to achieve more self-control

All in all i think Eckhart's philosophy is more suitable for people who really have much free time, few hobbies and interests - like buddhist cant achieve enightement without total devotion

  • LMAO ,

are people honestly still whining about this man making money for doing what he does ?!

    idiots ...

  • He doesn't really act like other philosophers. There's something not quite right... I'll stick to ancient Chinese philosophy. Thanks anyway.

  • this guy chats so much shit lol

  • i think he is so pleased to be free from such a suffering intellectual life. he does not respect all else that is going on in our heads. creatively speaking thought is very useful and to see what is happening in our heads is fabulous- suffering, learning, enjoyment all roll together.

  • @roseandnessa well, the idea, at least the way i understand it, is not to stop your thoughts. rather, to stop identifying with them, to get attached to them and let them have control over you. if your thoughts are positive and motivational to begin with, i doubt eckhart tolle or any zen master would say thats an issue (though i've met few people whose thoughts are 100% positive)

  • is it the normal guy?How he can teach othe people he is not look right him self

  • eckhart tolle is satan manifested in the flesh

  • The CEO disabled the material.because this is where spiritual meets material. Man wants to sell the divine, because its a divine message they let you have a little bit so they don't appear to be selfish.

Did Jesus sell and control his wisdom? Did Budda sell and control his wisdom?

As a wise man said. "give freely of what you have freely been given"

Allow people to make donations. A man can only wear one pair of shoes, how much do we really need for our physical self right now?

  • Thinking becomes noise when you resist it. Thinking must be allowed. How can you be aware of your greed if you try to suppress thinking?

  • Well, at least you also have lots of money in the bank. You can't deny that.

  • Direct quote from Catholic priest Richard Rohr: "Tolle is, in fact, rather brilliantly bringing to our awareness the older tradition . . . [which is] both the ground and the process for breaking through to the theological contemplation of God, and acquired contemplation of Jesus, the Gospels, and all spiritual things. He is teaching process, not doctrine or dogma. Tolle is our friend, and not an enemy of the Gospel. There should be no conflict for a mature Christian

  • this teaching is only telling you to find god within because god is in every thing he created and to see god in all living spirts once you do that how can you question god or judge a living creations we are all connected all come from one source all have a purpose all are living miracle's

  • these teachings have helped me fasten my awakening. I started with Osho, Bashar, then Abraham Hicks, and now I have found this man and been listening for the past month. When you are present, you can see the perfection in everything and every problem. These teachings are not about this man, he only acts as a portal but the energy is Source energy thats translated into words. Our minds are the filters of this energy, his filters happen to be very open and clean, anyone can reach this info!!!!

  • @dingleberrys09 Hey. I would also suggest you to check out Adyashanti!

There's many videos of his speeches on youtube...

  • @1psbloutcome thank you! i've been watching him recently. I love how these spiritual teachers all speak the truth, but they all have a different perspective in which it comes thru. it makes it much easier to grasp.

  • @dingleberrys09 Heyya...dingle..strange that i followed the same pattern as well...osho bashar abraham and now tolle...:) its been good..bt do u think there is a diff btween abraham;s teachings and tolles..? i m trying to find a common ground between these two...as i truly like them both.:)

  • @scullyplt hey!! Ive learned that what Abe means by 'being in the vortex', is really intense presence. There is no future, nor past, they are both found in the now! And in that case, you already have whatever you want! Because it will never come in the future, it will only come in another Now. Therefore by having what you want, you no longer want or need it, and you LET IT GO. (art of allowing). TRUST ME, after this you'll begin seeing so much evidence of your desires , its insane!!

  • @dingleberrys09 - Blessings. I began with Kiranji, by accident, here on youtube. What he said, changed my perspective. Life is same, situations are same, everything is same, but my view of things, and my awareness of the mind game, that has changed. Best wishes.

  • mr dancerism said 4 weeks ago that you have to understand Eckhart to fully accept them. i listened to a few cd's a few years on a journey, the kids threatened to kill me if they had to listen to another one ever again. i enjoyed them and certainly benefitted from the sharing. my fluke i land up in his presence here again and i think how bloody lucky am i to receive this right here and now. profound beyond belief.

  • Timeless Wisdom...Received with great gratitude. Thank you dear brother Eckhart!

  • if you havent read or felt what he is talking about then do not hate! and move one with your life. maybe later on you will be ready maybe not. it doesnt fully matter. but if you do then you will feel things you never even knew possible. that is my point of view anyway.

  • He looks like Rupert Grint.

  • 処世界如虚空○如蓮花不著水○心清浄超於彼○稽首礼無上尊○

  • if it is sooo difficult to achieve....is it really the way to go?

It seems more like another way for those who want to feel "better" than the others... Just read some of the posts here, lots os smuggness!

They are actually saying "look, you can't do it because you are not good/ready/worth it/prepared/intelligent and so on...but I can!"

  • he is so theatrical...almost farcical. I find it so difficult to listen to what he is saying, I just keep thinking "this guy is a joke"...

  • @MegaHotpig Its only because this may seem a radical way of looking at life. This way is almost completly dead in the western world.. which is truely saddening. This is not an accident. This is core information on what the slavemasters DO NOT want you to realise... Pay attention.

  • @MegaHotpig Funny, I have the same feeling as if one is dealing with a bullshitter here!

  • @MegaHotpig You're thinking is limited, that is why you have a hard time.

  • In order to fully accept Eckhart's teachings, you first have to understand what he is saying and then walk the walk to get at least a small dosage of what "being in the now" is like. The lifetime conditioning of the doubters explains their hostility and prejudices. For those who are serious in there search, eventually that search will lead you back to yourself. That means that the 'enemy' is nothing more than your own creation.------Namaste!

  • @mrdancerism Perfectly put.

  • I like the way he takes his time when he first comes out. He starts when he's ready and comfortable and doesn't feel pushed to perform. Looks to me like there's a lot of people who don't understand the whole philosophy he tries to teach us. Some people just aren't ready to learn it yet.

  • The first 2:00 minutes sound like a comedy skit.

If you like what he says, look up zen buddhism,

he has taken everything from them.

His ego is so expanded, he personally contradicts everything

    he offers.

Try reading his book, this way you can avoid him.

He is not a good advertisement for what he preaches.

His laughs sound like the grunt of a pig.

  • @fntime What you just said made no sense! "Grunts like a pig" - meaning what? Yes what he teaches is an expansion on Zen Buddhism, so what? Where is his ego?

  • If he's the answer, I don't want to know the question!

    He is a posuer!

  • @fntime And you're one of the many "conditioned" ones, full of fear and lack of understanding.

  • @damone70 I understand that Tolle is a poser, and I understand

when you indulge in hero worship, you become angry when

you and your hero are criticized!

I am 'full of fear' that I may listen to one more of Tolle's video's

    and 'lack understanding' of you!

    Are you a monkey?

  • @fntime Really.. How is it that he's a "poseur"? Now you're assuming something about someone you don't know (me), hero worship and getting angry. Hahahahaa.. Look who's getting angry, with the exclamation points and reference to a monkey. Ahahahahaha.

  • @damone70 You are a monkey,that's a fact, no anger,just reality.

Have you ever laughed in your life that wasn't connected to scorn.

I presume you are a woman, you have that jealous bitchiness,

Lady,my comment was not meant to hurt your feelings, but

I realize that 'followers' always become angry when you criticize

their guru. Being a follower means you're a true believer,

next you'll be putting on your jackboots and telling all,

'Tolle is Germany and Germany is Tolle'

    Goodnight monkey!

  • @fntime You just got smoked.

  • How many skin cells do you have right now?

  • As the God Allmighty created us to worship him alone, my purpose of life is to obey his commands in entire life,

Please watch "what is life about by A R Green" in Youtube

  • Um...excuse me....are you....the "presentlightoftruth" insinuating that I am morally lazy? Hmmm...I thought "Christians" didn't judge. And, if you don't like Eckhart Tolle, why are you on this page making rude comments? Just go to a page you like. That simple. But PLEASE dont' try to judge me...or my comment.

  • @Yaylin2 Lucifer- The LIGHT bringer... What happens when someone hears/ sees the truth? The are said to "see the light", they are "illuminated" the "LIGHTbulb turns on". Your understanding of Lucifer in the universe is not complete. Lucifer works for God. Your misunderstanding makes the DEVIL and equal to GOD. But He is NOT! There is a reason Lucifer was the most magnificent of Angels. Lucifer only does what he's supposed to. Even God said the TRUTH/LIGHT shall set you free!

  • @capoeira360 you are deluded, the devil and lucifer are different concepts, don't mix the two. Lucifer is who he was and the Devil is who he is. And no that is not the reason Lucy was the most magnificent...these delusions are how illuminati propaganda spread. Always twisting facts to skew the results. Whether the Biblical account is true or not, don't manipulate it's meaning to suit ulterior motives!

  • @TheVariableConstant - deluded is to believe that Lucifer, God, devils and magic actually pay ANY role in the unfolding of the universe.

This stuff is slightly less interesting than the Dungeons and Dragons games I use to play when I was 15 years old. Imagination =/= Reality

...and as far as manipulating meaning to suit ulterior motives...let me introduce you to theology! Mental exercises for the muddled mind!

  • @capoeira360 - Lucifer, Devils, Gods and magic; please tell us another fairy tale story please.

This crap is getting old....oh yeah, that's right...it is old.

Scientology, now there is some modern bullshit we can stink the room up with! :P

  • The same applies to noise. If you see noise as annoying then noise becomes intolerable. If you ignore it or even become aware of it completely then it becomes just sound. But of course too much noise is not good especially if it is too loud. Anyway many people love noise more than they love sweet music.

  • Thinking is not mental noise. It's just how you see it. If you see thinking as mental noise then it will become annoying. If you allow thinking instead of suppressing it it will become normal and healthy. If you allow thoughts to express themselves then they will be born and die. If you keep aborting them they will try to reincarnate again and again.

  • Sleep is the best meditation.

  • Thought and belief: CEO's RESTRICT and affect ME. Thought and belief: Tolle is BROKE and NEEDS money. Thought and belief = lolololololololol

  • I love all of Eckhart's video's. Just read " A New Earth" and you can enjoy the rest of the teachings.

    Love and Light

  • the man's gotta make money. he was almost homeless, so he knows what poverty's like. kinda hard to spread a message if you're broke. he chose to leave the first two, to get you asking questions and to think, about not thinking. those that make it big like him spread some of their teachings for free just for knowledge, but still charge affordable price for the full material. part of living in the now is accepting problems head on, and one of those is paying rent and buying food.

  • @doncartertemple you have no idea what youre talking about.so what if he was poor .he said he barely noticed.

  • @doncartertemple He Chose To Be Homeless, He Quit His Job, And Became Homeless For A Reason. You Are Now Listening To His Reasons.

  • To: Anthony McLaughlin

I am disappointed to see that the remainder of the videos have been removed. I understand the need to make the business profitable in order to establish the teachings of Eckhart Tolle. However as some on who found Eckhart through youtube and went on to buy his books afterwards. I think it is a mistake not to allow people a chance to really see his essence. When i first heard him I thought 'I dont buy it' but after a while of watching him you see the genuineness.

  • I stop thinking when I'm sleeping. that is nature's way of giving my mind a break

  • @rumit99 That's absolutely true.

  • He make's me want to scream!

  • um, shouldnt we be spreading the teachings??? why would eckhart restrict access?

  • @dhardwick12 Yes, it is a bit weird. But it's not exactly him, but the CEO of Eckhart Teachings, Inc.

I doubt he himself would ever report any copyright issues of his material. :P

  • @1psbloutcome

Anyway, I guess they need money to spread the teachings.

  • @1psbloutcome

Yea he's surrounded by a holes who understand nothing about his teaching. It's time he did a 'money-lenders' job on them..

  • @1psbloutcome Bullshit. The CEO wouldn't do it without being instructed about copy write by Tolle.

  • @dhardwick12 its his wife Kim She NEEDS her SHOES - some ones got to pay for them

  • @dhardwick12

Yes, why would he? Doesn't make sense. He certainly does have enough to live on now, so ... I guess he has fallen prey to bad advice. That we would pay for some material I agree, but then, why not have it freely available too like on youTube? Thx to 1psbloutcome anyway for posting 1 and 2, and trying for the rest! :)

  • what happens when you come down the mountain and the mind starts again

  • @MultiUndertow You watch the mind
