This is not the actual spot Lennon died. This is the spot Chapman stood in the combat position as he shot John in the back.John was already walking in the Dakota's entrance tunnel. Lennon although close to death was able to run a few steps up the tunnel, then fell face down in front of the security office. He was just still alive when they put him in the back of a police car to go to the hospital.But was dead on arrival.

@thecookie445 we're not joking dude we wish we were there to help MDC get away. MDC has a HUGE underground fanbase. We're on the DL mostly, but once you come out, you're amazed at how many people say, "you too bro!? I thought I was the only one!!" I work in a large firm and I can name 50 or 60 people who are big time MDC supporters. Not all of us can afford to send him a lot of money, but even modest amounts help. I only send him about $400 a month but I have a modest job. I do what I can

This is not the actual spot Lennon died. This is the spot Chapman stood in the combat position as he shot John in the back.John was already walking in the Dakota's entrance tunnel. Lennon although close to death was able to run a few steps up the tunnel, then fell face down in front of the security office. He was just still alive when they put him in the back of a police car to go to the hospital.But was dead on arrival.

Actually that is not the exact spot where Lennon was killed. Lennon was shot four times INSIDE the archway, where he ran to the vestibule located to the right, climbed 6 stepes, pushed opened the door and collapsed in the superintendants office. He was about 5 feet into the archway when he was shot.

@FaganRoberts Hey its been in print for many years about Chapman's love/hatred obsession for Lennon and the original "Jesus" quote. Lennon's re-emergence in 1980 triggered Chapman to bring back that obsession. Not saying that was the only issue Chapman had with Lennon but it was a signficant one.
