I think you need to look up the definition of a scientific theory. The only time something is "science fact" is when it can be tested under almost every circumstance. Due to the fact that you can't test what a fish evolved into 500 million years ago, evolution will always be a theory, but it is a fact that it happens, has happened and will happen. I think you need to look up the definition of a scientific theory. The only time something is "science fact" is when it can be tested under almost every circumstance. Due to the fact that you can't test what a fish evolved into 500 million years ago, evolution will always be a theory, but it is a fact that it happens, has happened and will happen. It's been observed. Evolution in the common sense...is a fact.

This kid has been coached well... as a Catholic I get people's dislike towards this, it shows people who have closed their minds and hearts to all but a few things... I too pity them, but not because he's wrong, but because his faith, and likely that of many there is a fragile thing. To not accept scientific truths is a way to keep whatever little faith they have left alive...to think that they are unable to see the world for what it is AND STILL see God's presence in it is the real sad part.

It always sickened me how many times this God orders the killing of innocent people even after the Ten Commandments said “Thou shall not kill”.
For example, God kills 70,000 innocent people because David ordered a census of the people (1 Chronicles 21). God also orders the destruction of 60 cities so that the Israelites can live there. That's not a loving God, that's wanton murder plain and simple.

Plans completely contradict any form of free will. If we exercise our endowed freedoms of will, but we don't conform to some ultimate norm, we burn in an infinite hellfire. From that standpoint, God seems more like a fascist dictator than a benevolent creature. In other words, God and his "plan" remind me more of Hitler, Stalin, the Salen governors in the 1600s, and the McCarthyist era in the 1950s.

I never boasted my intelligence or wisdom, I was stating facts that are listed in even the most basic textbooks; and refuting incorrect insinuations that creationists made about the theory of evolution. I was also "taught" as a child by people who "obey the Lord". By "taught", I mean I was physically and mentally abused by unstable Bible-thumping babysitters because I had questions. So, I have actual scars to prove why I chose not to be a Christian.
Second, your "Lord" showed himself to be a sadistic killer more than a loving entity within the scriptures. I truly think the God of the Bible is evil.
Third, Man wrote the Bible, furthering my belief that Man created God.

You can see in the Bible how many people say to themselves (the Bible calls them fools) "there is no God". God's Judgement is a fulfillment of prophecy, I'm not looking forward to seeing you guys suffer, I'm looking forward to seeing the realisation come to your faces that Christ truly exists.

How is it brainwashing to teach a kid that evolution is not true, when it is clearly obvious with any research that the THEORY of evolution is full of flawed, baseless logic. Scientists can't prove it, and when they run out of money, they pretend like they stumbled upon a great discovery, SO THEY GET MORE FUNDING. It's all about money and power in this world. The kid can decide what he believes at an older age. Why is this any worse than teaching a kid that an errant theory is true?

Well, creationism is (from a genetic standpoint) impossible as well. If the human race was derived solely from the descendants of Adam and Eve, then future generations would suffer countless birth defects and would eventually be rendered sterile from continual inbreeding.
Also, if evolution is so false... explain why we have vestigial organs and appendages. Why can't we use our appendix, when some primates can? Why can't we use our toes to grasp, when quadrupedal apes can?
