This is really awful, it's like an attempt to be "down with the kids" by having a fast paced repetitive song, and the "funky" electric guitar section sounds like the start of a punk-pop song rejected by the makers of American Pie. Hopefully sense brings "Magical Place" back next year.

i was watching this on adturds but felt compelled to click through so i could say HOW CRAP THIS ADVERT IS! Toys R Us and christmas isnt the same without the trademark 1989 advert, come on what about the good old days everything was so much better i thought toys r us would never conform to the cold heartless society today it was like magic escapism mixed with nostalgia when i would watch the old advert... why couldn't toys r us have kept the 2009 and 2010 remastered versions of the original advert? they were fantastic! why fix something that isn't broken?
