I don't think she was happy with the image the studio's made her portray, no-one was listening to her!!! I don't think they even cottoned on to the real Norma Jean!!!
she wasnt no. She had a terrible childhood a unstable relationship with her unstable mother,an absent father along with aniety and depression and also broderline personality dissorder. I know how she felt, we have the same soul, and its painful xox
Like all of us, sometimes she was happy sometimes she wasn't. I do believe that she felt the public preferred her to appear happy, so she projected that mood a lot, but so do most performers.
i was watching a doco about her something interesting they pointed out was that during the final days of her career she purchased a house. at this house their was a greeting plaque on the ground wich translated from latin: "iam home"....days later she died
she wasnt very happy due to a very difficult childhood and her life long best friend "loneliness"......... she was a very lonely woman who was never taken seriously, she just a very succesful life as far as her career but her personal life was a very sad lonely empty one.

Still the greatest ever! Nobody should try to play her, but if it's going to be anyone it has to be Nicole Kidman. She's been perfecting h
er Marilyn impression for years now.
