I didn't even bother to see any performances on Billboards, except for Beyonce who delivered one of the best live performances in her career on television. And the fact that Britney was supposedly introduce as a "pop icon?" Lately, Spears performances looks like a risque routine done by the Muppets. I have really grown to love Mary J. When she first started out, she really could not sing, and her stage performance was not that much. As time went on, she really found her voice AND her own style. I didn't even bother to see any performances on Billboards, except for Beyonce who delivered one of the best live performances in her career on television. And the fact that Britney was supposedly introduce as a "pop icon?" Lately, Spears performances looks like a risque routine done by the Muppets. It's weird to me that people still buy her albums when all she does is lip sync and don't really give a damn about her live performances.

She still sells out concerts and gets standing ovations, FOR WHAT?? I'm NOT a fan of Bee's, BUT I am considering buying her album because she is the talented one. If white people can keep supporting Shitney, then us black people need to come together and support a talented Beyonce even if we don't like her!!

Very true. Britney has the advantage of so-called white privilege. How else can one explain this woman's continued success when Beyonce is literally one of the hardest working entertainers of THIS generation. I'm a Bey fan and I may buy her album. But in all honesty even though Bey kicked ass at the awards show, that song Run The World is terrible. And her follow up song 1+1 doesn't really keep my attention. But she will sell nonetheless.

I didn't get a chance to see the Rihanna/Britney performance but Beyonce's was SOOO dope I loved the effects. However, IDK what it it is but B just seems different like her whole demeanor has changed especially the way she was acting when her mom was presenting her her award. I know she was worn out from the performance but in the past she hasn't acted like THAT.... IDK maybe its just me. Other than that her performance was the highlight of the show!

I have really grown to love Mary J. When she first started out, she really could not sing, and her stage performance was not that much. As time went on, she really found her voice AND her own style. This is a prime example of watching someone grow as an artist, and she has. I love her sound, vocally.
