2006 he was on top for the whole year, so he earned himself that one.

@MIBFreakPack in 07' he won 10 races, 10, 08 i admit he had a little help in the chase, but 09 he was top 3 most of the season. but like many people say, "It doesn't matter how you win, as long as you don't cheat."

2008: 3rd, -369

2007: 6th, -430

For what it's worth, 2007 and 08 he had major help and 09 he only needed a little. But still, 10 wins doesn't mean anything when in 1996 Gordon had 10 wins but Terry Labonte was champion.

@Number10pen Look i don't like this new points system because having a playoff means nothing if you're the point leader going in, so as far as i am concerned he didn't earn them. instead NASCAR gave him a pass to get them. There's my opinion.
