  • i've played on a bunch of "pro install" tables and decided to do mine myself. i'm not saying pro's dont do it right. some do and some dont. all "pro" means is you paid someone to do it. check out my vids if you want to try it yourself. good luck.

  • I also had a table done by Frank... and I can tell you it was the worst I had ever seen. We had to pay for a real table mechanic to come out and re-setup the table just days after. Stay away from Frank Zavala and Trickshot billiards!!!

  • yeah we saw the bad roll on the first ball , showing the same thing over and over is not efficient.

  • I am not sure what the point of your post is. I did it more than once to show it was not just a fluke roll off.

  • Please get your facts straight when you say something or better yet don't talk about something when you don't know what you are talking about. Also, try telling the truth - it will set you free. I am so glad I had a real professional come over and fix your mistakes so the table plays like it is supposed to. Also it was someone who stands behind their work, returns phone calls and actually does what they say they are going to do. It's refreshing.

  • Hey Brady, THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! You did it for me again...

Teresa Brookshire, North Phoenix!!! She googled me off this video, and found me in Phoenix. I just did her 9' Buckhorn, 3 piece slate table. IT CAME OUT GREAT!!!

This is such a great forum, I have made my own VIDEO. It's me and a 10,000$ Brunswick from start to finsih. He lives in Scottsdale, and the table came out sooo pretty. Look for it, I will be posting as soon as the editings done!

    Thanks to you again!

  • hey supermexnaz been in the bussiness for 20 years in SC. don't worry my man I get them like that here also.

  • Please note I posted this video MONTHS after not being able to get Frank to come back out to my house and fix his mistakes and he finally quit taking my calls. We talked through email where he asked me for my address so he could send me my "worthless pennies" back, as he called them, and surprise. The check never came. Yet another thing he said he was going to do and never did. Thanks.

  • Frank you act like you went above and beyond what you were supposed to do when you didn't even do what you were supposed to do in the first place. Get real man. Not only did the table roll off badly, there was anywhere from 1/4" to almost 1/2" gaps between the pockets and the rails. Karma will get you someday. No doubt.

  • I still don't understand why the red ball seems to roll just fine. So did you have someone else come out and re-do it? And what did they say was the problem? As for not leveling the table before the slates, it is not always and in most cases not necessary with a good table and slate.

  • The red ball still rolls off but not as much because it is rolling a little faster. If you want to call and talk to me about this we can. Yes I paid someone else to come out and FIX the table. It was totally redone and plays wonderful now. I didn't even mention the up to 1/2 inch gap between the pockets and the rails that was left. You can keep using him or whoever - I don't care. but when you get screwed over - I won't feel sorry for you one bit.

  • I heard about this vid and have to put my .02 cents in... I used Frank during xmas for my installs, probably about 15 of them over a weeks period, and since then refered customers who need moves to him, I will also refer my sold tables to him and still support the warranty.... I heard no complaints back. I do not know what happened in this case, a small level from Home Depot will tell me more then a ball rolling, which should be dropped on to the bumper, and not the slate... continued...

  • BTW it was xmas of 06. One thing you will find is when dealing with hundreds and or thousands of customers, you can not make everyone happy. Like I said, I do not know the situation in this case, but Frank did my installs over a year ago, and not 1 did I have a complaint about.

    Mike.

  • If you had time to sit down with me and my wife and go over everything that went down you probably still wouldn't believe the way we were treated and the horrible job that was done. I am happy that you have had no problems with him. The first time I had no problems either. I would never do business with him ever again. I have obviously seen a side of Frank that you have not. You are lucky. There are many more people just like me who have contacted me and had similar experiences. Good luck.

  • I'm sorry you had a bad experience. Billiards is really a small industry where you know about or hear about other dealers/installers, so just kind of surprised. But out of curiosity is it fixed, did it need a minor re-level or slates reseated? Just from the short video I was thinking warped slate since that last red ball seemed to roll much straighter then the others.

  • It is fixed. It had to be totally redone. The frame was never leveled before the slate was put on. The slate is not warped. It is 1 inch slate with 3/4 inch backing. Not only was it a horrible job - he charged us more than he quoted and then never followed through on his word to make it right. I lost lots of money and most of all lots of my time waiting for him to fulfill his word that turned out to be worthless to me.

  • Sorry never saw a response till I searched, but the table does not always need to be leveled before the slates.. IE a garage with a huge slope down usually would require blocks of wood for example, most levels can be done by floating the slate with shims.

  • PS. With 4 billiards stores, 3 moving companies, and 26 different real estate agents calling on my services on a daily basis, life and business is great. I'm done wasting my time here.

  • Thanks again Brady, His name is Robert C. from Coolige, just finished his table today...Received another 40$ tip and he gave me my props on the web. So, that's 1600 and 1 more customer with a smile on his face. You know what he sais about your post. He could tell just by your pic, what type of baby you were. Thanks, and keep em coming. I feel like Paris Hilton, good or bad, publicity is publicity!

  • Again Brady, I call it how I see it. I have over 1,600 customers over a 16 yr. career and a handful of idiots like yourself who think they know more then a professional. You are one of those guys, that puts the flaw in "the customers always right" belief. Thank you for the publicity, the reason why I found this was posting was due to 3 people who found it and contacted me. Thanks! They noticed how you rolled the balls and looked at your video and saw you for what your were!

  • You didn't even see it because you never came back out to check your horrible work! I am not the first person or the last person you gave horrible work to. I have talked to a number of others who had almost the same experience I had. You are a pathetic business man and people will see you for what you are eventually. Your memory must be fading in your old age. Get a clue. By the way is your business licensed now? I hope so. Don't forget to pay taxes on the money your I overpaid you with.

  • In addition, please tell me how a "professional" rolls a ball down a table. As you see from the video - the ball rolls straight at the beginning then at the end rolls off almost 6 inches! You can roll the ball however you want. It does not roll off on accident. I have seen 3 other people who actually know what they are doing roll the ball the exact same way I did. Maybe you need to brush up on your skills.

  • I feel sorry for those 3 people if they used you. Don't worry about the publicity. Everyone I know and talk to knows about the way you do business and the work you do. Did you forget about the 1/2 inch gap between the pockets and the rails? The job you did was amatuer at best. Your customer service was non existent and you just called me names. I was really patient waiting for you to stand up to your word and you never did. That says it all to me. Good luck ripping more people off.

  • Brady, you are so full of it. Really, tell the truth idiot. The table may not level any longer because you moved it after I left. Your gf wasn't sure where exactly you wanted, and you moved it again. If I was so bad, then why did you use my service twice? I'm not gonna come back out and give you a free level, because you decide to move the table. 0h, and your rolling the balls incorrectly. idiot

  • You need to get your memory checked Frank. This video was taken the day after you left. The table wasn't moved or worked on until MONTHS after you never came over to fix your horrible job. I had to pay someone again to do it correctly.

  • The first time I used your services you did a great job taking the table apart and moving it. The second time your work was terrible but you stood behind it and called me a liar (more or less). The video doesn't lie. You could have rolled that ball any way and it would have rolled off like that. I see that you have lowered yourself to name calling which is pretty proffesional. I overpaid for a service that I never was happy with and you didn't care. Good luck treating customers like that.

  • bval thats nasty, 3/4 of the time i shoot the ball about as hard as you're rolling those. wow.

  • can't you just buy a new slate

  • That's horrible...

  • Ya, it is horrible. I tried to get him to come over and fix it for over two months. Then he said he would just give me my money back and still NOTHING! The man's word is worthless and without your word - what are you?. Spread the word

  • That jerk off. I'll know not to go to Arizona, and ask him to set up my table.

  • Let me guess, 1 of brady's friends..it's siimply amazes me, how someone who knows nothing about what really transpired, can make a comment. So, here for future reference...there's brady story, my story and ithe trurth! I saw brady at a local park here in phoenix, and had guts to confront me in person! Remember Brady, castle and coasters, I was there and you were too. Why did you not say anything then? Why? Cause you know you were full of bs

  • I am not sure what you are talking about. I have not been to castles and coasters since I was about 14. Please stop lyig Frank - it is very ugly. I have all the emails you sent me including the one where you said you would gve me my worthless pennies back. You are full of it and always have been. If you think you see me somewhere say hi. I haven't seen you since that one day at my apt. even though you promised to come out to the house at least 7 times after that.
