  • TEAM AiR is much better.

  • O hai there Team Arcade ;)

  • this is pretty mediocre i don't think it really classifies as "filthy"

  • Comment removed

  • not distortion

  • Yeah wouldn't be wise posting tutorial with warez buddy lol.

  • i dont get that magical cutoff ab lfo that u just turned on. when i set up a sound and turn my lfo1 to cutoff ab it doesnt do a thing!! what am i missing

  • Thanks ! .... this sounds i like it :D

  • I just like the sound...How can I connect this to FL Studio?

  • THANK YOU this video was verrry helpful

  • i like the wobble at 1:47 before you messed it up. that to me sounds way cooler than the final finished wobble

  • well done.. all made with simple waves x)

  • omg! im awake! GOD!

  • @GieraryHirr

It's Sylenth1, which is a VST instrument. This will run in any VST host or DAW.

  • what program is this on?

  • Comment removed

  • This was SO incredibly helpful, I can't even put it into words. It introduced me to Sylenth1, which is absolutely perfect and has a great demo, and showed me how to get the sound I wanted. Thank you so much!

  • класс

  • licensed to: team arcade

  • thanks alot!!

  • Liscened to TEAM ARCADE. hm..

  • your going the wrong way with the rate lol slow that down, slow wobble is the imo the dirtiest.

  • When the hell did this get 90,000 views?

  • nice im gonna make me some fidget with this

  • I think NI Massive is capable to do more powerful synths, as what I've been doing around.

  • why does mine look so different?????

it says "About... Program Select...Parameter" instaed of 1234 n all

  • It would be nicer if you explain and talk

  • FREE z3ta +2 : downloaded and installed today works like a charm

    MEDIAFIRE:

  • Why can't anyone make a Tutorial on actual good Synth Wobbles stuff that like Skream, Benga,Coki, Jakes do not this Brostep bullshit.

  • Honestly you can do this for Free in FL. The 3x Osc sounds better in my opinion, add some reverd/delay, and gain and voila. Not hating, just saying.

  • THANK YOU!!! that realy helpt :))

  • thanks!!!

  • is Sylenth worth the money because there are NO decent cracks out there.

  • Dude... Rusko and Doctor P are like Nick Jr (dirty wise) compared to Skrillex... Listen to cinema by him

  • @comedynerdynerds but Skrillex isn't dubstep.

  • @comedynerdynerds PLUS Skrillex produces entirely differently to both of them, he has a library of processed and reprocessed samples that he just sticks together to make all of his tracks.

  • yeah, cool but how to make it wobble!?

  • Legend mate thanks!!!

  • brilliant tutorial, genuinely helped!

  • Thank you! Sounded poyfect!

  • i got the full version and link for free :P

  • were can i dl this prog

  • Just applied the same settings to my r3, I think i jizzed myself.

  • Licensed to TEAM ArCADE... epic fail :D

  • @djremolif lolz yeah i noticed that too :D

wonder if he knew this when he uploaded

  • Everything is good until I load z3ta+_fx into the mixer, once I connect the Sylenth1 with Z3ta+ I get an obnoxious, ear-raping sound. Is there something I did wrong or forgot to do?

  • @Crumaa Ive seen this with cracked software, itlll just have mad gain and screech like a bitch... not sure what it is.

  • @Crumaa go to your audio settings and increase the buffer length until the crackling sound goes away :)

  • @Crumaa ear raping??? sounds like youve created dubstep my friend

  • @Crumaa Z3ta+ is not a mixer plugin :P

  • @Crumaa when you open zeta click options down the bottom and click Set standard tuning :)

  • @Crumaa Audiobuffer size to small/big?

  • Waiiit what is written under Sylenth 1 on the right ... Licensed to "Team Arcade" waiiit Team who ? Team Arcade oww yeah the warez team ... WTFFF ?!

  • @linkward People use pirated software. Get over it faggot.

  • Your videos are cool! I subscribed! :D

  • Sweet dude! Worked a treat!

  • fuck that

  • Sounds good man,

How can I automate the wobble speed?

  • @soulgoodmusictube Open Sylenth1, on top left click on the arrow and select "Browse Parameters". Now tweak the parameter you want to automate... it goes highlight on the left list. Now right clik on it (highlighted parameter), and select "Create Automation Clip" :D that's all ;)

  • what application are you using for this?

  • Tnx man..

  • Ok. My Sylenth looks different than yours.

For example: I don't have the "1234" option at the top left. Nor do I have any of the options in the center. It just says, "LENNAR DIGITAL. IDEA, DESIGN, DPS, PROGRAMMING, GRAPHICS, PRESETS AND EVERYTHING ELSE DONE BY: LENNARD ADDINK."

Then it gives me a link to their website. Do I only have the demo or something? Pleeeeeaaaase let me know.

  • @DreamyGhost1492 wtf??? did u buy it?

  • @fstball4110 I downloaded it off of a torrent like a anyone else would, actually. I realized it was a demo version and now I can't find a full version anywhere. I take it you bought Sylenth1?

  • @fstball4110 Thanks for this tutorial. Just started to get into dubstep the other day and this is a great beginner way for me to get that wob.. now just automating the shit out of the lfo1 rate in logic and im on my way to making my first dubstep song. I'm gonna shout you out. Peace.

  • @fstball4110 your is licensed to Team Arcade, so you didn't buy it either...

  • @fstball4110 licensed to team arcade ;) thumbs up :)

  • @DreamyGhost1492 demo or you might have an older version of sylenth. its v2.2 in the video.

  • @Mar10Man94 I found out that I downloaded a demo. Then I found a Halloween edition of the full version with added skins, but the sound didn't work and it auto-replaced the demo version, making me lose all of my progress.

In short: Sylenth1 blows. For me, anyway.

  • @DreamyGhost1492 lol!!

  • @fstball4110 Yeah, it sounds hilarious, I know. But I'd rather just go buy it next time I require Sylenth1. I found a much better way to get really nasty bass wobbles anyway.

  • @DreamyGhost1492 clearly using a torrent if you dont know what one it is.

  • @DreamyGhost1492 same here ;-;

  • @DreamyGhost1492 You have ver 1

  • @DreamyGhost1492 You probably have version 1.2 or something of the such

  • @DreamyGhost1492 same as me m8, i baught mine to lol it must be a option to activatwe it or some shit. i can use all the fx, but when i click programme nothin happens, so i cant select 503:init

  • @DreamyGhost1492 That's because you torrented it, bud.

  • @DreamyGhost1492 I think you have the first version of sylenth1, because sylenth1 v2 has these options.

  • @DreamyGhost1492 Pirating = fail

  • @DreamyGhost1492 old version ;)

he used atleast sylenth 2.1 you use something with 1.xx.xxx

  • @DreamyGhost1492 you have the old version of sylenth upgrade to the new one

  • nice tutorial..but why you making it so fast?

  • I really want to start making Dub. What laptop do you recommend?

  • @DillonLipscomb anything that can run ableton lol what kind of question is that

  • why couldn't you just upload the preset too , it's much faster and more effective :)

  • I LOVE YOU BABYYY!!

  • licenced to: team arcade... BUSTED!

  • its pretty helpful but its nothing close to the bass lines you hear on most dubstep songs, its just not fat enough.

  • those are mastered tracks...

  • where can you download the program?

  • you really like the D note! :))

  • Rusko isn't filthy... but nice I guess. Thanks

  • This is great! Perfect for a novice producer like myself who has never tried to make a Dubstep wobble before. Maybe not exactly the settings I'll end up with with the final product, but a good bassline! (excuse the pun)

  • @CuntryGent Its called constructive critism. the maker of this video responded with a positive remark because they clearly know how to take it unlike you. fstball4110 is in no way obliged to make anything for anyone and i was just providing a way to better there videos. Am i being unappreciative? no i found this video quite useful actually and about me being an impatient twat im clearly not because i gave constructive critism rather than a "u suck'" troll post so fuck off. stop trolling. peace.

  • I followed your steps perfectly but for some reason each time I hit the same note on my keyboard it makes a different sound as if its phasing, any help please? :(

  • Sylenth is the best synethsiser I've ever used.

  • yea some good basics

  • you know the phrase give a man a fish he eats for a day.teach a man to fish he eats for a lifetime. well metaphorically speaking you've successfully given your viewers a fish. allowing us to copy and paste a setting for a wobble you made isnt helpful. teaching us what the nobs do and how they effect the sound would be leagues more productive.

  • @slydogtechno wow I really appreciate this thanks a lot. You said it in a non offensive way (I hope thats how it was meant) haha Ill take this into consideration for future videos.

  • @fstball4110 Just play around with the knobs and see what they do to the sound.

  • @fstball4110 would love to hear you show us what each knob does

  • @slydogtechno once you got it set up, use it as a template to make your own sound. music is about playing around with the knobs and buttons till you have a unique sound that is different than anyone else's.

  • @slydogtechno I got to agree! I watch videos like this and, while it gets me to do the sound and make so basic basslines with a nice touch, it really doesn't help me understand the programs, effects and all.

  • @slydogtechno Well teach yourself!

  • @slydogtechno I can complete your phrases. If you give man fire you keep him warm for a day. However if you light a man on fire you keep him warm for the rest of his life. If you give a man a bullet he can kill for a day. However if you give a man a gun he will be giving away bullets.

  • @slydogtechno You learn yourself. A vst takes so long to learn especially when your new, but if you sit down and say to yourself that you are gonna learn how to use it, after many hours you will learn

  • @slydogtechno if you understand how synthesizers work, and know how to use sylenth 1, then this should be perfectly easy to follow-- plus the wobble bass sound is fairly specific, and there are not a whole ton of options for how it can be created-- in a nutshell, "use pwm or square + triangle waves, and have an LFO modulate the filter frequency from all the way open to fully closed." are you fishing yet?

  • @slydogtechno just eat your metaphoric fish n shut up moaning! Turn the nobs n find out! You know the phrase "trial and error"?

  • reason 4 rulez \m/ my opinion :D

  • This is what I would call a 'beginner's tutorial for learning how to make things 'wobble'. I seem to be hearing too many producer's wacking out crap with a bassline that sounds like this and thinking it sounds good.

And btw. This doesn't sound like Rusko or Doctor P. Rusko tends to use Albino 3 a lot. Please explain to me what tune of Doctor P's this resembles.

  • dude its jus simple sound....

if u wanna know rusko and others r using massive vst to make their wobbles.

    @russhurley:

u propably dont know how to use both vsts if u want to compare sylenth and nexus.

nexus is for layering sounds not for make from init and tweak them

    if u r using only 1 layer u r poor musican

  • @djyogas please, dont ever make a claim like that... layering is something that less experienced producers over do, and it resolves in distortion frequencys fighting for room, clipping if you cant control it and use it properly. Nexus is a sampler, and comparing Nexus and Sylenth1 is stupid. You are right in that Nexus is "not for make from init" but if a single "layer" sounds good by itself, nothing needs to be added. Less is more.

  • @fstball4110 Yes you do layering, if you dont want to finish up with simple sounds like this except you use complex osc parameters and/or rooting them with others in the matrix, having a modulation or doing a manual automation. And no it doesnt results in distortion, if you layer frequencies that compleat each other for exemple if you do a complex bass from lets say two layers, you're not going to put low fq on both right? You make a high pass on one and a bit of low pass on another for exemple

  • @fstball4110 i disagree, it depends entirely on the wobble whether or not layering is efficient. i just got sylenth and the only issue right now i'm having is controlling the automated parameters via ableton live. nothing shows up and idk if i have to rewire it or something but sylenth is an incredible program so far and i expect to use it just as much as i use massive and fm8

  • @djyogas

I thought rusko used Albino? no doesn't matter, I'm using Sytrus/Massive/Sylenth one, and i only know Sytrus (Not exactly but i can make some decent stuff, which i can't yet with Massive & Sylenth1

  • @djyogas Massive is good but all artists arn't using massive. Rusko isn't Caspa isn't. All those new artists like Skrillex etc, who destroyed dubstep use Massive. I prefer using ANALOG synths to make my wobbles. Which makes me a livestepper ;). Not the studio wannabe douchebag you are.

  • @joakimhellgren

    yeh?

so show us what u make on your ANALOG synth.

I bet u r another kid who bough synth and wanna show all people how good he are.

I can make all better on massive than u will do on your 'hardware'

If u dont believe show us any demo song and i will show mine, made on massive.

    we will compare.

    and show a little respect.

and douchebag is your father... and you r 2 i think becouse of the same blood.

  • @djyogas Yep I'm sure you are the best "Dubstepper" in the world.

Jokes aside, I have no interest in "competing" with you and I dont want to waste my time over some kid on the internet, like you.

  • @djyogas analog>software

  • @djyogas Tell that to chiptune and minimal producers. Layering isn't always needed and often fucks up a song and means that you can't see the forest for the trees. I'm not saying that layering is bad, but if you don't need to use it, don't use it. Music is about creating art, not about ticking boxes to show that you're a good musician.

  • @djyogas how do you know that? what if theyre all usin 3xosc and some filter? or maybe ableton's operator and autofilter like me? base your arguments on facts, just cause someone is able to reproduce a sound on a particular vst wetther it's Massive or Sylenth1, doesnt mean that the producer uses that.

  • love this video man, didnt have a clue how to use this, thanks

  • Nice Nice DUDE !!!!!! :D

  • coolio. sylinth eatz nexus for breakfast.

  • @russhurley word

  • @russhurley

    indeed haha

  • Is it bad if i can't get init 503..

  • @SRNTY1 i think the 503 preset, is just resetting everything, try to copy his sylenth stats to yours, you get the same sound

  • cnt find the init patch?

  • not really 'doctor p or rusko style' is it

  • yo, dude what screen recorder did you use? and thanks for the tutorial :)

  • Thanks for the tutorial. I suck at wobbles.

  • Nice wobble, upload .flp?

  • @leiko46 nothing to do with fruity

  • thx man .. nice & quick

  • Any idea why my Sylenth1 says parameter instead of menu? can I change that? I can't initilize the patch.

  • @SteelDogX

    you need a crack then

    or buy it

  • Nice vid - a tutorial that actually makes sense cheers.

  • whats the software ?

  • Im using fruity loops, is it possible to make the sound in reason and then import it in fl ?

  • What software is it, i mean like fl reason or is it a vst plugin?

  • @Mrgamer6498 Vst:)

  • Good job on the tutorial, fstball4110 :). I'm glad to see Sylenth used for more than just "Teh Tarnce" music hehe.

  • @XenosSoundworks yep I havent been makin teh trance to much anyway lawlz dats why tiesto exists right

  • @fstball4110 Tiesto!? OMG, the king of pop, lol. Anyway, nice tutorial, it helped alot. I have a free pack of 40 trance presets for FREE download on my channel though if you want to check them out. They are definently high-quality ones. Thanks again man

  • nice tutorial man

  • great music on the soundcloud site. i like acomdata for sure. the 8bit wins

  • thanks 4 this tut it helped me so much...kk

    sSLiMZz

  • bookmarked! will definately get back to this after i finish a few house tracks!

  • says the dutch house video is private?

  • @JustinMPerea not anymore

  • hey man

if you can figure out how to make a high pitched dutch synth

    that would be amazing =]

    haha

  • @JustinMPerea haha you mean afrojack style? thats got to be the easiest sound to create. but since nobodies done it yet, Ill do it right now! expect in about an hour haha

  • @fstball4110 haha yeah like him

    thanks a lot

i was trying to do it right now but its not sounding right

  • @JustinMPerea K hopefully mine does sound right. give it thirty minutes to upload. I had already done the track thats why it was fast.

  • yeah pretty much

i knew how to get the wobbles

but it was everything else i couldnt do

    so thanks haha

  • wow that was quick

    thank you

  • @JustinMPerea is this what you were looking for? ha ya I thought Id just whip it together
