  • I got 15 of those asswipe packages. I have gone a day here and there without food voluntarily. But be damned if I dont have my asswipe.

  • @craigushka50 Not a Katydyn, get a Berkey- takes out more garbage.

  • you may plan on feeding your pets, but your neighbor might be planning on eating them... :-0

  • try ww.midwestfoods.myefoods.com

  • God bless you

  • uk that water is billions of yrs old right?

  • Ill be honest im not stocking on any of that, i just plan to go south over the border right when hyper inflation begins.... it has begun so im watching it closely. From mexico ill keep going south. Good luck to everyone who plans to stay for the mass round ups

  • @deceiver123m This will be a world wide collapse.. going south will not help and could be more dangerous than staying in the USA.. If anything head to the mountains of Colorado, Utah etc.. God Speed!

  • My neighborhood is not that good so what good will it do to stock up if the police bug out and i have gangs coming thru my doors to rob and kill me.? How about a nice sail boat and sit off shore with loaded supplies and watch the action from a far?

  • I wont burn my pets.

  • You can't eat Gold, and what good will it be value wize if you can't eat it or it won't keep you warm. Buy land, buy a cabin to put on your land, get a gun and defend you cabin on your land. spend the rest of your "Gold money" on items that make sence.

  • @avair12 and what are you gonna do when foreign troops come to your cabin to "relocate" you? Dont say anything ridiculous like "id shoot the bastard" because as soon as you do that, his pissed off buddies up the road are gonna get a radio call and drive their tank right through ur cabin and cut donuts around your dead body. I know it sounds grim but ive already thought about taking your route.

  • @spyderhex Gold still won't help. I would be very surprised if "foreign or domestic troops" are going to bother trying to find a single family in the wilderness in a cabin. seems like a waste of resources.

  • @avair12 It gives the a job to do right? Ok. Learn your history, which is know to repeat itself. Yes the will come in the wilderness because it happens in other countries. ooohhhh but not to us ameeericans. Gtfo you have much to learn.

  • @spyderhex I am not sure you have any idea of my level of preparedness nor do you have any clue what I need to learn. I can site you several historical references for you to look at when the troops specifically did not serch for individuals and families living in the wilderness.

Regardless the point is still Gold wont help if the economy crashes. its about food, shelter and water. I tell you what when the SHTF Ill give you all my gold for all your food.

  • @avair12 are you smokin crack? i never said gold was a smart investment. If you ask me, ammo will become americas new currency. Now go tell someone else your bedtime stories.

  • Get out of the cities before they fire the 10's of millions of City and state workers.

  • Gold, toilet paper, peanut butter, yes. Water in bottles no. Garbage can with a plastic liner might be better. Spend the money you save on rice and beans and eat the dog.

  • great prices on oregon freeze dried food at ShaneShop(dot)net

  • Re; Pets - Buy a doe and a buck and you will be in dog meat all year!

  • VictoryIndependence....I made a comment on your video, but I totally forgot to say "Thank You" for sharing all your videos. They're food-for-thought & we're really enjoying them.

  • Bottled water's too expensive for me.I'd rather use free water & use my money to buy more food & clothing for my family.

We save & scavenge 2L bottles & fill them up with (free!!) tapwater......YTube videos can explain how to add bleach to keep it pure....

Also glass 20-27 L winemaking carboys & we keep them in the basement for emergencies(these large containers hold enough to flush toilets & wash dishes in power-outs, or for weeks of safe drinking water.

  • Thanks.

  • @ruapehugirl Joseph story was about salvation. The story tipifyes Christ.

  • just an idea, but I use and refill 5 gal water jugs that go ontop of a cooler. I have 12-5gal jugs numbered, and rotate them threw normal use. at .25 a gallon its sooo much cheeper then the bottled water. and just as portable on the run if needed. we go thew 5 gal a week roughly so as soon as 2 of my 12 jugs are empty i refill as to keep 50 gal on hand at any given time. do the same with the gas in your car, NEVER let it get below 3/4 of a tank unless traveling of corse. just my 2cents.

  • To the guys whos wives and g/f's think they're nuts -just show them the zeitgiest movies (both) and end game by alex jones. Get them to sit through ALL three and then see if they still think your nuts.

Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

  • why do people waste money on buying bottled water what the heck use your sink fil up containers for free the water isnt turned off yet so why waste all the money on bottles of water and them bottles wont last but 6 months anyways plastic will erode

  • I know, a Berkey water filter can purify 6,000 gallons of water for around $100.00.

  • "Toilet paper, the currency of a system that is in collapse."

    Brilliant!

  • "tooth brushes are made with" what?

made with "will" is what i heard.

  • Comment removed

  • tooth brushes are with oil.

  • @ibdugefrsh

I don't get it. "made with oil"? is he commenting what they are all made of (to show we are oil dependant) , or are there toothbrushes out there that are made out of some alternative material?

  • My wife and family think im crazy when I try to tell them what's going on. I stocked up on supplies and gold and silver but I gotta slow down or stop because my wife is questioning my sanity

  • @gone556 lol ... I feel ya. I've tried to explain it but they just don't get it. I've even told them things that where going to happen 2 months in advance and it came to be and they still think I'm a nut..

  • Your family needs a simple lesson in history.

  • @gone556 I am in the same spot ... I have said my piece to them over and over and now I smile and say all is well while I prepare quietly because honestly I am tired of peoples ridicule. good luck

  • @gone556 There are times when my husband thinks I'm a nut job for stocking up on food and supplies. I just keep doing it anyway in hopes that he'll get to grips with it eventually!

  • @gone556 lol, well if shtf then who will be the crazy one?

  • @gone556 LOL my family thinks I'm nuts too..oh well. I practically begged my parents to stock up on food and buy silver, NOPE! Easier to pretend everything is OK. I told her she had to get ready because I wouldn't be able to support 5 extra people when shit hits the fan, she got upset like it's my falt..

  • @gone556 Remember Roosevelt Presidential Executive Order number 6102

Gold confiscation of all privately held gold in the USA. Think the NWO clowns are different?

  • Great video! Everyone with pets should prepare for their needs too. I've purchased bags of dry food and stored it in buckets with oxygen absorbers in mylar bags so it will keep longer. Just trying to cover all the bases. Thanks for posting.

  • @buythebear You are so right on that one! The Book of James 5:2-3, warns us about storing up gold & silver.

  • water does not expire, it only looses its oxygen. Please take the time to research about water and storage.

  • If packed correctly:

Rice, Oatmeal, Pinto Beans: 10+ years!

  • RICE AND OATMEAL!

Lasts 1-2 years. They are both very cheap and very high in calories/carbohydrates.

    God speed everyone!

  • The Bible says you will be casting your gold and silver into the streets as we head into armegeadon. The only true salvation is in the Lord Jesus Christ and not in bottled water that will one day run out.

  • yeah remember that when you are skin and bones eating dog feces waiting for ur jesus to come save u.. A human life is 80 years on average.. how many lifetimes have come and gone of people that lived, died, and persisted through hardships, yet no Armageddon, no jesus... wake up man.. this channel is about reality, not fantasy.

  • Stockpile...! Yeah buddy...!

  • I just bought a Berkey with extra ceramic filters. Makes much more sense than having bottled water as long as you have access to water. You could filter your urine or stagnant pond/puddle water.

  • look at all that tylenol. this guy won't have a headache for years. lol. forget all this crap. fill and drain your waterbed every three months, buy lots of canned tomatoes and sacks of rice (and flintstones vitamins) and you're good for any disruption for six months. most importantly, save your panic food money and spend it on lots and lots of ammo

  • Eww drinking waterbed water. Even with a filter that sounds nasty. Your supposed to add a chemical stabilizer to waterbed when filling. The tylenol is fine if it's secured from the kids and taken in low dose.

  • no stupe, you don't put the waterbed conditioner in it and that's why you change it every 90 days. you could change it out every thirty if you wanted. either way, with a little chlorine bleach in it, you'll have emergency water rather than stocking up on hundreds of bottles of water. let's get practical

  • Stupe? you sound like a moron go ahead and drink your waterbed.

  • cheers. lol

  • ...if you are american and paying taxes than you support the troops.

  • How about supporting the troops by getting them out of foreign country's fighting illigal wars without any idea what the end goal is?

How about closing the more then 700 bases spread around the world?

Why sacrifice more lives and economic freedoms for a foreign policy of agression that has failed to make the (western) world a safer place.

  • @djewt1

Exactly right. These idiots that wave flags and say "I Support the troops!!! And I want them to go die!!" make no sense to me. Everyone wants to cut social security and medicare, but never talk about how much money we dump on our empire. We're screwed until we talk about that kind of thing.

  • thanks for the vids daniel.

  • owning gold is only half of it... you got it in your own vault????? lol... if things really "tank" whoever has the gold can jsut take it... and guard it with small milita...

  • If I'm stockpiling water, how long can I keep it before it goes bad? Additionally, any suggestions for water? Meaning, water that isn't filled with fluoride etc? Congratulations on the baby!

  • Some error on the side of caution and recommend 6 months. It could depend on how it is stored, temperature, whether it is chlorinated, whether it is in shade, or whether the container is opaque.

From my personal experience, water stored for a year was just fine. It was chlorinaded, in opaque 55 gallon drums, yet was in the sun and hot weather.

My plan is that if the water I stored goes bad, I would simply run it though a filter, add bleach, or boil it. At least I would have the water.

  • Filter, bleach or boiling it, will this remove fluoride if any? I'm more concerned about fluoride being in the water I buy. How likely is this? If i'm buying flats of water bottles, you're saying up to a year on these? Beyond that I should filter it? Thanks.

  • @dershope You should by distilled water 100% pure.

  • haha I'm wearing the same bra in my vid except I take mine off

  • My friends think I am crazy, but I am preparing for the worst and hoping for the best. Has anyone got it figured out about power outages? What's the way to go? Solar generator is quite expensive, and I hear the magnetic generators will power your whole house if you can make one. Any ideas about power and how to get by? Good luck and God bless.

  • I'd worry about power after the basics. A small solar system for 3 to 5K might be adequate if one lives in a sunny region and budgets their consumption.

A Lister diesel generator would be the most efficient. Perhaps a Honda 1,000 watt generator and a battery charger, a set of 6v golf cart batteries and good inverter should run your dvd and tv. It is also quiet.

If the power goes out for more than a few days, and I doubt it will, there would have to be a complete societal break down.

  • are you that short on water in the us or wouldn't it better to buy a filter?

  • Jimmy, I've never tried putting something that huge in my *ahemm* pie before

  • wheres the ammo?hunting & fishing gear? I recomend 22lr,its cheapest & you can carry more.Good luck to all.

  • The "one gun" solution in a Ruger 10/22 is really, really hard to beat. But you better be a good shot. Not so great for self defense...but for the cost, unbeatable.

$500 more and you can get an AK-47. But, the 10/22 is much quieter (keeping your location off the radar) and, again, the cost of ammo is so, so cheap in comparison to AK-47 rounds, 7.62 x 39.

Your primary goal in a "survival" situation is to remain "invisible". If people know you are alive and well it is only a matter of time...

  • If it's about self defense, a .22 would the last resort. It's good if that's all you got. Law enforcement thinks in terms of Stopping Power, the ability to stop the subject as quickly as possible from what they are doing.

If I had to use a 10/22, I would attempt to fire a 10 round burst. It is possible to stay on target as there is little recoil.

  • Exactly. All 10 right into the thoracic cavity - give or take 5 inches vertically - sternum to the forehead.

  • Go for center of mass. Group it tight. The nearest comparison ballistically might be to one round of OO buck at 35 yards.

I hope I never have to. It would be one of the worst days of my life. The best way to win a fight is to avoid it.

  • All this summer I was under lvl 4 water restrictions and FEMA never showed up. I.E. it was against the law to even water pets outdoors. The govt forced us to live like 3rd world country and had to sneak watering outside at night. The pressure would drop and go off for days cause all the wells where dry. Obama never mentioned it. It was the worst drought in Texas history.. ever. Example on how Govt can fail you even in a so called normal state of operation.

  • Having kids to care for really changes the way you look at the dangers of the future doesn't it.

  • Why not just buy a few brita filters instead of all that water?

  • Because water systems could fail in a WORL / Emergency scenerio. Brita does not even come as close as reverse osmosis and UV C combo. The UV C kills bactiera that might get thru the membrane in the RO.

  • Guaranteed stash. If the electricity goes off...better hope you have a creek/lake nearby where you can safely get/filter water.

I say "safely" because if the water goes off that means the grocery stores are probably emptying as well. Which means chaos and people hurting each other.

You want to be in a very quiet, very safe place when that happens. If you have back-up power you better black out your windows because your home will be the only one on the block with lights.

  • hey, why does your shirt say troop supporter? does that mean you support the genocide in Iraq? How can you support the troops and not support the wars they fight? please answer this question for me. it concerns me you support the troops.

  • Pointless to address such a question, with all your cocnclusions loaded into it. The troops are our neighbors; sent and in danger. I support them too. It concerns me you have an inane issue with it. What? I shouldda, voted for Obama? Gimme a break.

  • Also: 55 gallon water containers - refill with rainfall.

AND get a Berky water filter of Katadyn Pocket water filter, too. Otherwise you'll be just like all the other suckers when your supplies run out!

Seriously. But be careful of toxins from roof materials - get yer tarps out.

Having water is serious business. Imagine taking matches to the forest and they get wet = no campfire.

    Solution?

Take backups: magnifying glass, lighter, flint.

SAME WITH WATER. Have a back-up plan.

  • good post mate. please keep posting. you have relevant info.

  • wooden matches are better for this.

  • ... stored in a plastic case

  • Go organic as much as posible.

  • Sebelius: Americans must get swine flu vaccination

HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius appealed anew Wed for widespread inoculation against a surging swine flu threat, calling the vaccine "safe and secure."

Appearing on morning news shows to step up the Obama administration's campaign for vaccinations, Sebelius said that "the adverse effects are minimal. ... We know it's safe and secure. ... This is definitely is a safe vaccine for people to get."

    No thanks.

  • On July 20, 2009

Vaccine makers and federal officials will be immune from lawsuits that result from any new swine flu vaccine, under a document signed by Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius, government health officials said Friday.

  • wow, thx for the info.

  • Coultrane - Congress passed laws absolving pharma vaccine mfrs of ANY liability many years ago, after the Reagan era swine flu vaccine debaucle, which gave crippling Gullian-Barre syndrome to more than 1,000 Americans leaving them severely paralyzed or dead.

See YouTuber Dr. Rima Laibow at her Natural Solutions channel (see my faves page) for her vids.

This present vaccine has an UNTESTED adjuvent, squalene, not included in "test study" doses, but IN them now & ruled a "danger" by Courts.

  • I was ordered to cover up President Karzai election fraud, sacked UN envoy says

The head of the UN mission in Afghanistan has been accused by his former deputy of ordering a systematic cover-up to conceal the extent of electoral fraud by President Karzai.

He says that the UN collected evidence that a third of Karzais votes were fraudulent. If the claim was found to be true it would push Karzai below the 54% that the preliminary election results give him, necessitating a second round of voting

  • I guess we aren't fighting for Afghani's right for fair and open elections....

Our infamous US WAR CRIMINAL, Henry Kissinger advised President Obama to send more troops to Afghanistan during an appearance in Pittsburgh at Heinz Hall yesterday.

Yes, the same Henry Kissinger who masterminded the murder of as estimated 600,000 peasants in Cambodia (the "Secret bombing") and rivals Pol Pot for killing the largest number of people in SE Asia!

  • Fed won't have to immediately disclose lending details

Federal Appeals court grants central bank stay and expedited case

The Federal Reserve won't have to disclose details of its emergency financial crisis lending programs immediately after an appeals court on Tuesday approved the central bank's appeal to suspend a lower court ruling requiring such disclosure pending resolution of the case.

  • Just goes to show you that "due process" and going through the right channels won't root out the corruption any more. Some famous words come to mind: "When in the course of human events it becomes necessary...."

Freedom of Information act and transparency in govt. More CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN!!!

  • Senate passes $636 billion defense spending bill

The U.S. Senate on Tuesday approved $636 billion to fund military operations for the fiscal year that started on October 1, $3.9 billion less than requested by the Obama administration.

Lawmakers must resolve differences with a similar spending bill passed by the House of Representatives before President Barack Obama can sign it into law.

Following are some key provisions of the bill, which passed by a vote of 93 to 7:

  • $128.2 billion would fund the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Congress in prior years funded the two wars separately from regular Pentagon operations.

Look the other way folks, nothing to see here.

I thought Obama was going to end the war but I see he is EXPANDING IT.

    CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN?!

  • Meanwhile:Geithner says Americans will have to save more

BERLIN (Reuters) Americans will have to save more in the future, transforming the global economy, and Europeans and Japanese must work to boost domestic demand, U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner was quoted as saying on Wednesday.

Of course, Americans need to save more. But not depreciating debt notes from the fraudlent Federal Reserve. And not in context of the "global economy, either." That is simply NWO speak.

  • gold is actually going down in euro in 2009, silver is going up in euro a little bit. the USA is fucked, i am german, i hope silver will also rise in euros

  • peanut butter was found to have chinese additives. buy an army water filter. = better buy

  • Wrong peanut butter... need all natural... lol

  • Should get baby wipes Costco has the best price.

  • Costco, are you kidding me ! I hope I dont have to explain myself.

  • the new currency very soon most can be bartered off for better goods, items such as ammo, can food

  • I am planning on filling the big 5 gallon water bottles...just curious, why did you say that it could expire? I didn't know that water had an expiration date...am I wrong?

  • So maybe better buy atmosferic water generator and some solar panels?

  • No T-Bone steaks, imported cheese, Perrier, Heineken or a topping off of the ol' gas tank with super unleaded? I don't blame you!

  • For the skeptics I would say what is the downside risk of doing this. It's really nothing. If your wrong, no big deal deal.

  • Exactly. I hear the question all the time "Can you afford all this prep if you're wrong?" My reply is "Can you afford it if I'm right?"

  • Tell them you buy what you use, and use what you buy and you buy what you eat and eat what you buy so you won't be losing anything.

Good for you to prepare and God bless you.

  • Say! Tylenol is hard on the liver. I'm allergic to peanut butter. I prefer rice and beans for food storage.

  • Did I see Skippy peanut butter? I was told choosy mom's choose Jif. (Ok I saw the Jif too)

  • Grab a bottle of household bleach and a few rolls of rubbish bags too, 3 drops of bleach to a liter of water, wait over 20 mins(perhaps a little longer to let some more chlorine evaporate) and that water is good to go. Rubbish bags for in case you don't have a backyard to bury your 'business' if municipal water supply stops so you cant flush the toilet, just wrap a bag around the toilet and seal it as much as possible to prolong a sense of normalcy at least...otherwise handy as rubbish bags:)

  • Don't forget oil of oregano, vitamin D3, and vitamin C for influenza. Purchase them at a health food store or at Vitacost . Com.

  • Vision dont you know about the "Big Berkey" water filter???? Best water filter in the world for about 175 bucks. You can even use it for water out of a creek or rain water.

  • Been using one for about 6 months. My only complaint is that it doesn't seem to filter nearly as fast as they claim, takes about 2-3 times longer to filter and fill a 5 gallon jug. On the plus side, the discolored rain water that goes in comes out sparkling clear on the way out. And the water is free!

  • You can add more filters but if you want clean floride free water it's worth the wait. Also you can scrape down the outside of the filter to quicken the filtering process.

  • Wheres the Pork Chops, Tri-Tip and Raisin Bread. Those are Costco staples!!

  • Costco is part of our prep too. I'll be making a run this weekend, actually. I love that store.

Those plastic bottles leech BPa, which is an estrogen mimic. Not something men need to stock up on. I buy 55-gal. food grade heavy-duty plastic barrels, put a little chlorine in to keep the germies out. When it comes time to use, I have a Berkey water filter with the add-on fluoride/arsenic filter. Water is priority #1, turning a male into a female... not on the list.

    Jiffy == trans fats.

  • Jesus Dale Gribble I'll be at your house.

  • Thanks for mentioning the Berkey has an add-on filter option which takes out fluoride, I didn't know that option existed

  • The pet comment had me cracking up real good! I do want to see more vids like this.

  • As always, I recommend that you Google: "100 Items to Disappear First"

It includes things that became scarce and sought-after in Sarajevo. Ladies, do not neglect a store of sanitary supplies.

As for pets, a dog could be worth its weight in gold if it warns you of approaching danger. Pay attention; a dog will sense ill intent better than you, and often long before you have the chance.

Boullion is a cheap and compact flavoring you can add to anything bland, especially rice and beans. =^[.]^=

  • Don't forget to double secure that tylenol with your other medications from the kids. That stuff can tear up a liver quick if over dosed. You probably already know that.

  • costco2da'rescue!

  • God, Groceries, Gold/Silver/Nickels, Guns/Ammo. I recently gave a plan B seminar to a group of financial advisors, they looked at me like I had 3 heads.

  • Why nickels? I would think copper pennies would have more value due to their higher thermal/electrical conductive properties. For instance, you can use them as contacts in crude electrical circuits.

  • Quantity. The composition of nickels has not changed. You can pick up boxes ($100) of nickels form the local bank. pennies must be 1981 or older (some 82). The $100 box of nickels has a melt value of $90..which would you rather have, paper FRN or a box of nickels? $100 pre 82 pennies have a current melt value of $182 but getting that quantity is difficult. It is currently illegal to melt these coins, but even then, as an additonal hedge why hold the paper FRN if you can have the commodity.

  • Love your videos!!!!!! Just to let you know be careful about water bottles as they add estrogen like chemicals that are horrible for guys and women as well. Peanut butter that is not organic has Trans fats(partially and fully hydrogenated oils) that cause cancer and heart disease. Stay healthy Vision we need you man

  • 1000's of diapers = bettr get them now ........lol

  • Nice stash additions. Uh on the water bottles you might consider a reverse osmosis filter. On ebay there are a couple people that make the kits and they go for 200-400 bucks. The ones with pump and UV are best. You can bottle your own water again from tap and it could be used with a generator and bad water to make pure water in an emergency.

  • no peanut butter for me. allergic to peanuts.

  • Can you eat cashew or almond butter? Expensive but just as nutritious (if not more so) and delicious!

  • I recently went to Sam's club and I noticed that toilet paper was $2 more expensive, but the width of the rolls had been lowered by exactly a half of an inch. We're already paying more for a lot less, so keep your eyes open!

  • You'll need more toilet paper than that, and I hope you're buying lots of diapers!

  • Cloth Diapers! You can clean and reuse.

  • You can but that either takes power or calories, none of which you'll be able to afford as easily in the future. Better to have a large supply of ready-made diapers on hand and cloth diapers as a backup.

  • All that plastic is bad for the earth? Lmfao! Ha ha ha ha! That's got to be a joke! Goin to cosco tomorrow. Good luck everyone!

  • Five Stars*****

Cosco has a great buy on 50# bags of Rice.....

Soon they wii impose a limit on them.

Stock up and sock them up!

    Tip:

Store each 50# sack of rice(do not open) wrapper and all in large vacuum seal space saver bags. This will protect the rice from mold.

Don't worry should the rice germinate over time (bugs)will boil away and the rice will still eat good.

    Tick...Tick..Tick

  • At Costco today they had a large container of freeze dried food for $70 (200 adult servings) that had an advertised shelf life of 20 years. Also look for powdered milk, bulk rice, flour, beans etc available at Costco. These come in huge bags and will be a must if what you say is coming true.

What you bought today will not last you a week. The massive bags available at Costco will be great for barter with your neighbors and will serve you better. You should take your camera down that isle.

  • A couple of months ago, I wrote a blog post called "7 'Survival Foods' Found In Most Grocery Stores". It ties right in with Vision's video. If you're interested, just go to GrabTheApple (dot) com and click on "Food" under categories.

  • Vision Victory don't forget the diapers for the baby. You'll only need a couple of packages of NB (newborn), but a LOT of size 1 on up. Cloth diapers work, but you need a lot of hot water to disinfect, or a diaper service (expensive). You will also need Mylicon-type drops (anti-gas).

  • All of that plastic is so bad for the environment. You should buy a home water filteration system. It is cheaper and better for the earth.

  • I am thinking about buying an ecoloblue which is an automatic water generation system by dehumidfying and filtration. It make up to 7 gallons a day. a little pricey but it costs about $0.05/gal with power. Free with Solar panels. Does anybody have this? Water filtration through the tap doesn't look promising especially in NJ.

  • ummmmm hes grabbing it in anticipation of the tap not working either or having interruptions.

  • Nice reminder, Thanks!

  • I'm still stocked up on dog food from last year. Just opened the last back a week or so ago. Time to buy more!

  • Daniel,

    Five * as always!!!

You can actually get btand name toothbrushes at the 99 cent and dollar stores: 3 and 4 for $1.00.

The dollar store also has great hand sanitisers large for $1.00 3 small pocket size for $1.00 read the ingredients it has the same ingredients as Purell.

I shop in the San Fernando Valley area of LA but most dollar stores and 99 cent stores carry same stuff.

My Merk fund is way, way up!

  • Yes, people, lets not forget our pets! I'll be at Costco buying some more dog food and treats tomorrow.

  • Don't buy the Atta Boy Dog Food. I know of 3 dogs that will not eat it.

  • thanks!

  • Nice job!

  • Thanks for the reminder!

  • lol, I just got back from Costco... I got the PLUSH toilet paper BTW ;-)

  • excellent!

  • Daniel, you are scaring the crap out of me and it aint even Halloween yet. That might be enough Tylenol to last through a dollar collapse. :) Thank you for the vids!

  • Lol, maybe not enough tylenol. I guess he plans on having a lot of headaches!

  • Funny, I hardly ever go to Costco but I went today. Baby formula might not be a bad idea. Honey also stores very well. I have a well, so for water I have a generator and a 100 pound propane tank. Propane stores well. It also runs on gasoline so I have different options for pulling water from the well. For heat I have a wood stove. With nearly three dozen apple trees in the yard my contingency plan is looking pretty good. I can never have enough silver though.

  • You CAN eat dog food.. i think

  • ahaha

i loved the toilet paper anecdote :)

  • Why not buy the 5 gallon camping jugs for like a dollar and then fill them yourself? You can rotate them either way. Buying 16 oz water bottles is foolishly expensive.

You might want to remind people that when they stock up on food, they best buy a camping stove and propane. Don't forget not to buy anything that needs to be refrigerated.

  • Not much water in all those little bottles. All that packaging takes up room.

  • It takes time and effort to stock up so it is best to get on it now. Once a minimum is achieved, one can look for stuff on sale. Peanut butter, Powered milk, powered eggs and tuna are good sources of the least expensive protein if one does not know how to eat vegan. Peanut butter on wheat bread is complete.

For Daniel. Young kids need a balance of fats and evaporated milk can make sure they get it. Mix one can with 1 gallon of powered milk to duplicate whole milk. Canned butter is good 2.

  • The Indian style clarified butter known as "ghee" needs no refrigeration and comes in glass jars.

Powdered milk is an excellent storage/trade item. But look for the whole dried milk if you can find it, includes EFAs that the dry skim would not (but on the other hand may go a bit rancid sooner.)

Lots of people w/kids will be unprepared for such an event.

    Also Tobacco and BOOZE!

  • I've never heard of that Indian styled clarified butter. What's the shelf life?

Generally anything with any kind of fats go rancid ,and have of course, a shorter storage life in most cases. Go for the professionally canned 10# can of powdered fat free milk processed with nitrogen. The evaporated milk can be rotated and added. It contains the EFA's and the fat free powdered milk would keep much longer. Also use hot water to reconstitute the powdered milk. It does impove the taste.

  • yea dont forget the pets. I never wait until I run out to stock up on pet food. In fact in the event of a collapse I myself maybe eating cat food
