sure, then they can raise taxes to support the internet providers, thats much better especially if you want internet because your kids dont wanna go to the library and use internet for free, then you can pay even more, yep itll totally help with your financial problems....
I am starting to place the pieces together . back in the day the government gave free tv and than passed all these laws claiming its to protect us from harm.
Here we go again , they are just making up shit in order for the government to patrol and control the net . why doesn't the government fucking do their job, and get rid of this burden on society and the globe called the fed reserve along with the world bank and start printing real money with value fucking assholes.
go to the fucking library. tell your kids to ride their bikes and get some fresh air. besides, wireless is always worse than wired. They are going to have to take some responsibility for their own lives. And maybe you should stop pawing at uncle sam's foot and find another way to do things.
"ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country."
this woman disgusts me. If your kids really needed to type stuff, they could use a typewriter. It is not the government's job to pay her kids' myspace use. OH SHIT they have less time for friends and extracurricular activities. well, news flash work comes first, just like when you are out of high school and ahve a job. If they are desperate, they will find a way. By the way, WiMax for the whole US would be a horrible use of taxpayer dollars. cont---
@g3f0rc3p0w3r U Go =D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This stupid Bitch tinks that they need to read books they already read at school .They need more free time my little girl always complain that they dont hav free time, and its true they spend 94.8% of there time doing homework. Its easier doing ur home-work online more free time for ur kid and u can spend more time with ur kid. I've been doing reseach and its says that 85.9% of kids learn mor than reading books.
God forbid anyone to use the internet in libraries. Wow. Its no longer what you can do for your country. Its what can my country do for me. This is pathetic.
if you want free internet for everyone, start by leaving your wireless router (so called) unsecured, so that your neighbours can use it. you can secure access to your network, without blocking others from using your connection.
20 years ago Schools didn't require hard to find information, they usually supplied you with library cards or the books themselves. Now all schools assume that their students have internet access at home and if a student says they don't have access, teachers brush it off by saying, go to the library, internetcafe, neighbor's house.
Hey guys I am trying to spread the word about this torture victim. Here is a video from a human-rights activist. This family just came out due to tell their story when Obama got elected.
wow. you are right. nobody should be without internet access. my husband was laid off for a year. we could barely buy food, but we HAD to keep our connection because that is how he gets a job. our son is in first grade. he uses the net a lot also. i use it everyday. thank god we can still keep it, and now my husband is back to work (at a lower pay, but better than nothing.) sure hope Obama has an ace up his sleeve.
