  • Very Brenda Lee....very good indeed!

  • All for my playlist ! Lulu, a great singer !! Thank you very much !!

  • They where better at that time!!! Whats today???

  • Awesome.

  • She was Scotland's answer to Brenda Lee and Wanda Jackson and that raspy sound was true of them also! She wasn't trying to imitate the Isley Brothers. If you ever watched the U.K. shows Let's Rock and Oh Boy, she always sang like this on rock 'n' roll songs. I've had a crush on her for a long time. She was married to the late Maurice Gibb, and they remained friends after the divorce. Joe

  • @Indygoguy I thought her performance was very soulful. I think she did great.

  • lulu's a legend! love this song!

  • this is the best version no doubt!

  • Lulu is GREAT

  • The first album my Mum ever bought me was Lulu. It seemed kinda old fashioned to me but I did get to like it. Later I realised she was a youngster in 1960s London and she wanted to pass on something that represented a happy time for her. I have since had a big interest in 1960s London and I love the clothes and sounds.

  • London was certainly swinging in the sixties! I live near Chelsea, and Kings Road was the place to be. Ask your mother if she remembers The Chelsea Drugstore, Kleptomania, Gandolph's Garden, The Magic Mushroom, Hung On You and Granny Takes A Trip!

  • The man interviewing Lulu at the end of this video - is it Simon Dee?

  • COOL ! ! !

  • I remember it well - we are virtually the same age, though she looks younger than me!! Wonder why!! Fantastic, though - voice hasn't changed either.

  • I met Lulu a few times with my work. She loks great. Her songs are the best.

  • I agree that there are much better versions of Shout. But back in the 60's girls only sang "Girlie" songs. Then Lulu came out with this belter and took everyone by surprise.

  • For all the youngsters, this is who Duffy sounds like.

  • Is trying to sound like =D

  • Fantastic delivery. What power.

  • great song this is i have gone mad on it it is a number 1 song

  • excellent song, thanks for the post :-)

  • she looks preety old to me but this is a grate song how did you get it and find out abot it

  • She actually looks younger now than she did then.

  • crazy voice but it is a great song

  • Good to see the audience getting down with their bad selves. Great stuff.

  • dang, how did she get that whiskey rasp at age 15?

  • Good question. Either ways tilla damn good song.

  • what a fuckin song!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Shake it baby.
