  • LOL at 4:06!

  • It´s a Nocturne with orchestra jejeje¡¡¡

  • Marta is great yes and I'm not here to say she isn't...but when she plays I can't feel the same emotion of Zimerman....His way of playing is just unique in my opinion

  • Beautiful! I love Hough's rendition too; simple, elegant, sensitive.

  • Anyone asking about difficulty of music should be reminded that three simple notes cab be the most difficult part of music .Gina Bachauer and Pires' lessons can show someone that moving fingers is not what musical ideas are about. the fioritura passages can be difficult to get the right shape, speeds and touches .Brendel says every great piece of music is a testament to itself .comparison is a type of lie though everyone has been influenced.

  • i doubt that Lang Lang could play it like that...so pure and unaffected.

  • How hard is this movement? Can someone compare it with another piece?

  • @ViicVN This movement is the easiest one from Chopin Concerto with the technic ..I'm practicing this piece .But the most difficult thing is the emotion ..It likes Flow on the Sky~!

  • Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I have not stopped listening to this interpretation since I have found it. I think she brings this magnificent piece to life more than absolutely anybody else I have heard it from. Thank you again!!!

  • Wow, perfect !!!

Sicuro

  • Wow, this is such a wonderful interpretation. She looks so sad, as if she put all her pain in this music.

  • Oh the conductor was quite young....

  • It's Chopin's greatest piece! It's so full of spirituality, longing, soul and sadness...it's music that takes you to the stars....

  • Remarkable intensity. Beautiful.

  • Chopin at such young age could capture the deepest romantic feelings a person could feel for someone. As for this performance; earthy, sublime, unpretentious and very melancholic. Bravo!

  • Indeed! Bach and Chopin are the two composers I return to again and again. I think you'll find Chopin wrote the F minor Concerto before the E minor although the E minor has become known as the 1st. I could be wrong...but as you say, to write such a thing as this at such a young age - he was but a boy! Incredible! And Argerich - wonderful!

  • She looks real sad when shes playing this piece. And its like she's playing in her sleep cause you cant see her eyes. 7:46 is a beautiful part where you can see her eyes shine. But my fav part is 4:07!! Though she shows no emotion on her face, her music is filled with it. Well done Martha!!
