man i got the 86 kdx200 bone stock it has never let me down or gave me a problem .......untill i hit about 85miles then it goes to reserve and complains and says give me more fule XD best bike and only bike ile ever own kawasaki has my aprooval unlike yamaha the dont die

@ACDCfan277 You can remove them, when you put a rear fender without a light and a plate in the front it pretty much looks like a kx.

Have '98 KDX 200 which I have loved for some time. Full FMF Gnarly, Boysen Rad Reed Valve with Pro carbon reeds, Wiseco Piston, K&N Filter, New 2010 Graphics, Grippy Seat, New All Green Plastics Including UFO Green Headlight. She is just a babe now..

Nice one, got the same bike, same year and she's been there for me for over

20 years without a single rebuild and never left me stranded.

Even did a huge French ice event on her (Crossiere Blanche) all the froggies laughed cos she was old, but she saw half of them off and I made the spiked tyres myself.

@TheDoghead i got the same bike and same year i raced mine on pump gat with 450r in arena cross had better power than then had no trouble staying with they only got me on corners

kdx is a great bike,period, i really love the "arctic white" version of them, dont like the red version much, love the green as well

will you upgrade to a kdx250? someday, i always wanted one lol

i have a honda cr500 i woods ride ,motocross ect... its a great bike, not many hills i cant go up lol
