I think the concept is a great idea. I think what bothered me the most was the bad acting. I realize you are probably using friends who may not have a theatre background but I would hold auditions locally to see about getting some drama students involved (at least for the major roles). Overall, it's always good to see fan films being made.
Nice idea but bad acting, bad special fx and worse audio make this look very amateurish. Recast and work on the post production before you try this again.
Considering that the episode was made almost a year ago, I do agree the audio was bad and so was the lighting. However, since then we have released a second episode aswell as a pilot to a mini-series. Both of which have been downloaded thousands of times by fans/viewers. Both of which are admired for their visual effects, musical score and acting; by the producers of serveral independant film projects in multipal countries.
