his record of reducng the size of government and icreasing liberty is by far better then all other candidates. he is the only one ive heard show he thinks raationaly@ issues as aposed to blindly following republican party belief criteria
Interesting. I wish I could trust A politician. He "sounds" great. But, it's probably bullshit. It almost always is. Personally, I'll be looking to a 3rd party candidate. Just cause the guy is pro-legalization doesn't mean he won't continue the problems with the economy and rich vs. poor. It IS rich VERSUS poor at this point. I bet he has nothing to say in that regard. And, lastly, what about socialized medicine?
The liberty movement should be worried as the establishment is about implement the 1, 2 combo on voters. First, use Trump to reduce the seriousness of the GOP primary discussion and second, use Gary to split the liberty loving voters.
Gary Johnson is a "libertarian" "leaning" candidate. That's small "l" and "leaning" meaning inconsistent. He pretty much sums up his position on Freedom watch from 4/25/11.
@truthstingscom We don't have an "American Idol Contest" (spelling fixed) because some of us actually care about the ideas and leadership ability of a candidate. However, that doesn't change the fact that there is a segment of the voting public that votes based solely on who has the better hair or some other aspect of physical appearance.
I have no problem with a candidate that I support finding ways to get the below average American voter to vote for him.
We need more videos of Gary Johnson that resemble those made for Ron Paul during the 2008 campaign. Especially ones that focus on Gov. Johnson's very active outdoor life style and business experience.
Visually, I would think his back ground as a mountain climber, skier, and tri-athlete gives him a HUGE advantage over other candidates.
@a4finger Bring the troops home from Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya (or end American involvement there), reduce the overall size of the DoD budget (which is simply to big for how much money we have as a country), and close various bases around the world which no longer offer high strategic value.

he seems to make some good points. What are his views on Foreign policy? And there's really only 1 person I want to see President.
Ron Paul for President 2012!

Being a Governor, I expect he has minimal experience in the snake pit of Wash D.C.

We need to get him and Ron Paul on a ticket together.
Gary is more "presidential" than Ron and should be the front-runner. Plus, he's been a governor and has more experience governing.
