Arbiter & Master Chief....the most epic Halo characters...can't wait to see them again in Halo 4
Note: Yes, arbiter will be in Halo 4....he will be fighting this other elite probably named "Yel" because Yel wants to go to war with the humans again & destroy them while The Arbiter (Thel' Vadam) doesn't want to because he respects the humans now
In Halo 4,my friends, the Arbiter will come again and fight near Master Chief to save Halo universe.I couldn't say they are teammates. THEY ARE FRIENDS.
Halo: Reach was set before Halo: Combat Evolved. The chief was on the vessel you had to save while you stayed behind on Reach using the rail gun. The events of Reach led up to the first halo game. That's why chief wasn't in Halo: Reach. He and Cortana were on board the Autumn (the ship you were protecting).

You know, I always liked the arbiter better. Sure, MC is a 8-foot tall genetically altered supersoldier, but arby is a 9-foot tall alien supersoldier with the power to become invisible and a glowing blue sword. Way more awesome.
Uh no Arbiter is 7'10. Chief is like 7'2 or 7'3 in his armor. With out his armor the chief is like 7 feet tall. And the chief is stronger than the Arbiter, has much better unarmed combat skills as he knows martial arts (part of spartan training and regular marine training), and has WAY more fighting experience. Chief would win. But it probably wouldn't be very easy for the chief just he would win.
I don't know why I want to make myself look like an idiot and take part in this argument, but I'm bored. Spartans are strong because of of their armor, which acts as a powered exoskeleton to make them stronger, but elites stay the same with or without armor. As for the martial arts and combat experience, high-ranking elites have, in most cases, personally killed a few thousand enemy soldiers to get that title. Arby used to be the commander of a large fleet. Yeah, that takes a whole lot of kills.
Um no. All the armor does for the spartans is give them just enough strength to let them move in the suit without reducing their mobility. If they used it to give them all their strength their might be problems since performance enhancing armors (like ones that would let you pick up a tank or something) have been known to fuck up really badly for no reason. And the elites have shields. They would go down just like any other with out those shields since they are pathetically weak without them.
I realize halo 3 is only a game but I wished they could have explored the relationship between the Chief and Arbiter. Something like an adversarial relationship that gradually becomes a friendship, could have personified the way the elites and humans became allies after spending so many years trying to kill each other. actually the arbiter from halo wars is not better than this arbiter because .....1. he failed one of his suicide missions thats why he died on halo wars
2.The elites that time didnt have shields only armor so they lost easily to the spartans
3.the arbiter from halo 1,2,and 3 survived all his suicide missions, hes the only arbiter to ever survive the missions, he killed the most powerful brute on halo 2 tarturus, and he put the covenent out by killing truth. That is why THE arbiter from wins.

Chief only has one implant, the slot for cortana in his skull. He is pure strength and intelligence. Sure he took what is basically steroids that have twice the effect but he was very tall and strong and had extremely fast reflexes before he was turned in to a spartan. (So fast reflexes in fact that he said a coin would land on heads and caught the coin in mid-air when he saw the heads side so it landed on heads)

thing is with these fights with the spartans and elites spartans win excluding spartan III but spartans II win over elites on the other hand a high ranking elite like the arbiter could win but not vs spartan 117 due to his luck he'd always come out on top, so now spartans are almost always stronger faster and smarter than elites due to bio-augmentations and the suit all making them stronger

yeah... They are both as good as the other...However the arbiter has been proven to be better than the chief. Because of his actions. He willingly killed himself to save the chief and cortana. If you play legendary halo 3 the last mission you get a second ending (which is the true ending) and in it you'll notice that the arbiter turns the frigit around so that the chief goes through the portal first, it collaps and the back of the frigit is the only part to make it through the portal. that means
the frigit gets split in half yes, but the arbiter makes in back to earth to talk to Lord Hood. The cheifs end of the ship is forced to leave SlipSpace when the portal collapsed. Its like they were in a tunnel, the Arbiter made it to the end. The cheif made it into said tunnel, but not the end.
Okay i'll admit now it's been quite a bit since i seen the ending I'll maybe have to look at it again, But i'm (not 100% sure) but i'm sure that when the camra pans towards the chief the portal is seen, Not the ark. Which would indicate that the frigit has been turned round so that the chief goes through the portal fist. (I'm not 100% sure about this but i think thats what happens) But if thats true. Then that means there is 2 endings. Not 1, Until we know if there is 1 or 2. Lets stop for a mnt

Well...As much as i don't like it. That is true...Because the game is about him...So he has to be...But even in the game...They are both as good as each other...Both stay alive and the only diffrince is the Master chief is played by the player all the time in single player. The reason i believe the Arbiter is better is. He may not have destoryed halo. But thats because he doesn't need to. If the master chief and arbiter we're real...No doubt in my mind, the arbiter would kill chief in seconds.
the only way to tell is if they actually fight each other. in one of the halo legends episodes (the package) the red elite (arby) almost does kill chief but he is grav lifted out of the fight.
well that i guess must mean that the arbiter can get the chief down in a fight, even in the games/movie whatever it was, but i'm saying if they were real, there is no way the chief could beat the arbiter, sangheili's have the strength and tech they need to beat nearly any oppenent. In halo 2 they each have thier own special power. Master chiefs power however...is a flash light...Arbiter can turn invisible. Spartans - Medically enhanced super-soldiers trained from birth and given an advanced power suit to enhance their attributes.
Elites - Naturally powerful warriors, trained from birth to fight. Very little to no medical enhancement. Given a power suit that creates a defensive shield, and signifies their rank.
Are u stupid? Spartans and Elites are even in a one on one fight. Spartans are better trained then elites in every way. In the book First Strike 3 Spartans blow up an covenant base with thousands of troops. Master Chief killed thousands of elites by him self. Just because hes the Arbiter doesn't his better than the countless other elites that fell before 117, his shields are probably weaker because his armor is older.
actually the arbiter's shields are better then regular elites shields or just as good its what he lacks in cloaking that makes his armor inferior in stealth but better in combat. And he is better then pretty much all elites the Arbiter has to be he goes on suicidal missions for the Prophets! Until this Arbiter came!
normal humans have beaten elites many times before. For one Forge takes out the Arbiter. The books, marines take out elites quite often. And you have to realize, the humans in halo seem to be usually incredibly weak and or stupid compared to the ones in real life. There are people in real life that can lift a metric ton (2,000 pounds) so they could easily beat an elite in hand to hand since they can really only life like maybe 300 at the most.
When they got to earth yeah. But if it weren't for the humans the elites would have never known about the lies of the prophets. So they saved the elites' asses.

Arby n the Chief are without the best and unique team in the entire Halo verse.
Other Halo teams were either Spartan-Spartan(Six and Jorge) , Human-Human(Chakas and Riser), ....
But this one is Spartan-Sangheili, the chemistry between the two is just amazing in both the Halo verse and the machinima series.
That's why i hope to see the Arbiter in Halo 4 back.

There was no arbiter in halo 1, because Thel Vadamee didn't fail until the end of halo one. He became the arbiter from 2 and 3.

thing is with these fights with the spartans and elites spartans win excluding spartan III but spartans II win over elites on the other hand a high ranking elite like the arbiter could win but not vs spartan 117 due to his luck he'd always come out on top, so now spartans are almost always stronger faster and smarter than elites due to bio-augmentations and the suit all making them stronger

yeah... They are both as good as the other...However the arbiter has been proven to be better than the chief. Because of his actions. He willingly killed himself to save the chief and cortana. If you play legendary halo 3 the last mission you get a second ending (which is the true ending) and in it you'll notice that the arbiter turns the frigit around so that the chief goes through the portal first, it collaps and the back of the frigit is the only part to make it through the portal. that means

the frigit gets split in half yes, but the arbiter makes in back to earth to talk to Lord Hood. The cheifs end of the ship is forced to leave SlipSpace when the portal collapsed. Its like they were in a tunnel, the Arbiter made it to the end. The cheif made it into said tunnel, but not the end.

Okay i'll admit now it's been quite a bit since i seen the ending I'll maybe have to look at it again, But i'm (not 100% sure) but i'm sure that when the camra pans towards the chief the portal is seen, Not the ark. Which would indicate that the frigit has been turned round so that the chief goes through the portal fist. (I'm not 100% sure about this but i think thats what happens) But if thats true. Then that means there is 2 endings. Not 1, Until we know if there is 1 or 2. Lets stop for a mnt

I disagree with the Arbiter being better than chief. Chief has slaughtered thousands of covenant with various weapons, blown up 2 halo rings, killed 343 guilty spark, and gone through the training of as a spartan

Well...As much as i don't like it. That is true...Because the game is about him...So he has to be...But even in the game...They are both as good as each other...Both stay alive and the only diffrince is the Master chief is played by the player all the time in single player. The reason i believe the Arbiter is better is. He may not have destoryed halo. But thats because he doesn't need to. If the master chief and arbiter we're real...No doubt in my mind, the arbiter would kill chief in seconds.

the only way to tell is if they actually fight each other. in one of the halo legends episodes (the package) the red elite (arby) almost does kill chief but he is grav lifted out of the fight.

well that i guess must mean that the arbiter can get the chief down in a fight, even in the games/movie whatever it was, but i'm saying if they were real, there is no way the chief could beat the arbiter, sangheili's have the strength and tech they need to beat nearly any oppenent. In halo 2 they each have thier own special power. Master chiefs power however...is a flash light...Arbiter can turn invisible. Although i have nothing against chief...It's just his queere lovers i hate...No offence.

im no fag so no offense taken but in halo 1&2 Chief took out hundreds of elites so possibly if the elites were better armored then they could take chief out. And yeah i hate the damn flashlight but 2 seconds of invisibility didnt help me much either

Yeah but in the beginning of halo 3 the chief sticks a pistol in the Arbiter's mouth and is about to blow his head off before Johnson stops him. So really they each got a turn of almost killing each other. And the chief got knocked to his knees for a second but still had his sword up.

All in all, Elites are better then Spartans:
Spartans - Medically enhanced super-soldiers trained from birth and given an advanced power suit to enhance their attributes.
Elites - Naturally powerful warriors, trained from birth to fight. Very little to no medical enhancement. Given a power suit that creates a defensive shield, and signifies their rank.
1v1: Spartans lose.

Are u stupid? Spartans and Elites are even in a one on one fight. Spartans are better trained then elites in every way. In the book First Strike 3 Spartans blow up an covenant base with thousands of troops. Master Chief killed thousands of elites by him self. Just because hes the Arbiter doesn't his better than the countless other elites that fell before 117, his shields are probably weaker because his armor is older.

actually the arbiter's shields are better then regular elites shields or just as good its what he lacks in cloaking that makes his armor inferior in stealth but better in combat. And he is better then pretty much all elites the Arbiter has to be he goes on suicidal missions for the Prophets! Until this Arbiter came!

normal humans have beaten elites many times before. For one Forge takes out the Arbiter. The books, marines take out elites quite often. And you have to realize, the humans in halo seem to be usually incredibly weak and or stupid compared to the ones in real life. There are people in real life that can lift a metric ton (2,000 pounds) so they could easily beat an elite in hand to hand since they can really only life like maybe 300 at the most.
