I know in Turkey it's considered a whispered joke in a sort; that women who wear it tend to be fatter or older. The good looking ones might wear a head scarf but usually it depends on the weather. But yea, usually its the overweight or older women that sport it.

I love this video. I'm an african american believer (non denomination) and I can totally respect the hijab. I am fearful in wearing it though..I wouldnt want to offend anyone who is of the muslim culture. Good point about sunburns....because really this is why there is such a thing as hijab in the first place. People wore clothes according to the environment...somehow its become a cultural/religious thing....if you were self conscious to wear certain things its because you were taught this way. We put you in a different area with less emphasis and obsession on sex then your clothes would not dominate your mind.

Then it says except the ones who respected you and never broke your treaty, then we go to quran 9:5, kill THE pegans. Good point about sunburns....because really this is why there is such a thing as hijab in the first place. People wore clothes according to the environment...somehow its become a cultural/religious thing....if you were self conscious to wear certain things its because you were taught this way. We put you in a different area with less emphasis and obsession on sex then your clothes would not dominate your mind.
