One of Sandy's rarest pieces as compared to fairport/fotheringay/strawbs songs featuring SD, but long considered one of her most beautiful, introspective, and stunning offerings..
She sure did and I'm so grateful. I have pretty much heard everything Sandy did musically and this song is very underrated! Not many Sandy fans talk about it much but I think it's one of her best!!
Thanks vanu49 for adding this very sensively sung and evocative song that epitomises the power of traditional folk-music. It still sounds as good today as when it was recorded by Sandy back in the 70's
So beautiful. Sandy, I miss you and wish you were still here with us.

its lovely...... ..but that middle instrumental section just keeps on reminding me of Spinal tap when there dancing around the mini stonehenge.

@zoomankat LOL I was wallowing in depression at summer vacation being over, listening to this, and you gave me a good laugh to get over it.\

Hadn't heard this song before - so darkly gorgeous. It really is time there was a full-on re-awakening of interest in Sandy's music.
