I have seen a few of your videos, and I'm sorry if you feel that "I'm all over you." I appreciate your passion for horses--I really do! However, if you calculate the percentages of hackamore (bosal, etc.)-related injuries to the percentages of bit-related injuries, they are pretty equal. I cannot ride my mare with a hack or bosal because she had her nose ripped up from a previous owner due to the use of one. Trained hands (like yours) will be good to horses no matter if it's a bit or a hack!
lol my horse is the opposite :P she got her mouth ripped off when she was getting trained with a bit, and she got bone spurs so then we had to ride her in a hackamore. and now she wont go in a bit.

Hi there, just to comment that the rider shown looks to have lovely soft hands. Even better is that she is riding bitless! She has a lucky horse.
I can see how people might get the impression that the rider is too big for the horse - but I think that it could be a case of the saddle being too small, giving the wrong appearance. If she had a larger saddle there would be enough room for her to shorten her stirrups a bit more for jumping, which would put her in a great position. Nice work! x

So I took herout in the middle of a big field after she got the hang of cantering and I told her to trust star(my horse) and she'll give you all she has. And she kissed to her and star ran and carrie started laughing and threw her hands up and star took off so fast I almost didnt catch it on the tape. Ever since then she cant stay off the horse.
No prob. Yeah, Now she has her own horse and we race everyday. And she says one day she'll beat me. But my horse is a champ barrel racer so we'll have to watch and see!!!

Star is the horse of my dreams. I used to do dressage and never dreamed of doing barrel racing, but she changed my mind because she took it real slow. And at first I was scared to full out run on her, so I took her to the field and she turned her head back towards me and looked at e with that "trust me" look. so she ran and I laughed just like Carrie. Star has that effect on ppl. She once helped a disabled crippled kid learn to walk. She awesome
well shes only in her prime. so she shouldnt slow down until she hits around 25.Plus she pushes herself to the max in every comp. So she doesnt want to stop doing it.
