She is soo beautiful.. I think Shih Tzus are one of the most glamorous dogs. She is flawless.. those pretty eyes :) I wish our dogs could have a play date.. and a fashion show. She is the best dressed doggie on youtube :) xoxox
@KiayaCris Wow....what nice compliments..thank you! Sophie does get a lot of compliments on her eyes. Her dad pick her from a litter and he is so proud of her! It is amazing how they change as they grow though.
She's so gorgeous... I am trying to let Sammie's hair grow and it's so difficult around her eyes... she can't see, it sticks to them... how in the world do you amanger to grow it out like your sweetie's??
Thank you!. I have never cut Sophie's hair on her head other than around the edges, because she is so unpredictable I was afraid she would jerk and I would injure her eye. I cannot keep her head still no matter what I do. She is so frisky, I won't even use a professional groomer.
It is hard to keep the hair out of her eyes and I groom her face often. I use a comb with roller teeth first and then a flea comb. A groomer on youtube said that once you cut it, you have to keep it up. So I think once it gets long enough, it will not get into her eyes as bad. It does tend to crawl upward, so just keep it combed down. It is important to keep the eyelashes long and they will stay long this way. Good luck! Sammie is precious...I love her! =)

Thanks so much. I made this video a long time ago and used Brown-eyed girl by Van Morrison for the music. After it was up for several months, Youtube disabled it & I had to use one of their songs and never liked it. I finally figured out that I could mute the song and add my own. Then, I had to find one with the same beat, because the program I used placed the pics to the beat of the music. Now I'm satisfied with it. I worked too hard to just delete it totally. Can't wait to see more of Lacey!
I wanted to tell you David and Howard Bellamy are on facebook and are now my friends. I sent them this video too through facebook. I sure hope they like it! David is very social and post his activities almost everyday. I love seeing his photos!
