It all depends, each motherboard has different places to put the IEEE 1394 cable. You'd have to check the mobo's manual for mire details. The slot for these cables typically look like pins sticking up out of the board in a 2x4 configuration (I think). Hope this helps!

Branina: I just bought this casing from my friend last week. The cable management is awesome and straight forward. The cables for the USB/Firewire were already routed down to the bottom of the casing so it's easy to plug it in your motherboard. Just check the manual and you'll be fine.

Good Case, Big, solid, very well-cooled. But a tip before you buy it: Be sure to do your wiring correctly, AND clean it for dust every week atleast 1 time because this is a dust eater case. Excepting that, it's one of the best gaming cases i've ever bought.

I have this case and it's giving me a lot of problem... i have 2 sapphire HD 3850 and the end of the video card is almost reaching the harddrive bay.. then if your going to change the harddrive you need to remove left and right panel then unplugged all the fans then unscrew the harddrive...

the screw included for the harddrive is almost 2 inches or 1.5 inches.. this is one of the worst case that I ever had..

If you are sick and tired of reboots due to overheating and such then your pc will be in heaven when installed in this case. But fair warning. The only thing that sucks about this case is the way they implemented the way how a hard drive fits in. Frustrating as hell but once everything is together you can wave bye bye to overheating issues that I always ran into.
