I admire Pablo, and appreciate that he always seeking for something new in art of Tango.. But I can't tell that like this video.. it rather left me in confused stage.. Yes, great technics, as always. But they move so fast, that first 20 seconds I was questioning myself if now they will dance International Ballroom Tango. This rush kills sensuality of the dance. ....I would prefer slow motion and more passion.
@PrimaveraPortena that's the improbable balance between real dance and show dance i think. or lets say a show for those that never danced tango and just want to see some technically complex figures. that's what apeals the broad audience. real argentinian tango is not shiny but soothing. cheers!
what a great performance! this two are really wondeful! thanks for posting this video. I wish most of people who complain about passion and so on, would be more sensitive... anyway... trying to get sensations through a video is not easy... They were performing for the people present in this room, no for us behind the cameras... I wish you guys would have been there to watch this show alive...
Pablo Veron is a great great teacher, and more than that a incredible dancer...

Over 12 years ago, this was the first 'argentine tango' I've heard when I was still a ballroom dancer. I couldn't find out which orchestra is the performer ever since. Anyone knows?
Thank you I do have the music file, but I don't know which CD is it from (it was on a friend's collection CD). Could you tell me, what is title of that CD or CD Catalogue Number? Thanks!
Tanguera is a Mariano Mores' tango and this is probably a performance by him with his orchestra but, he's got many versions though. Just check him out in YT and you might find the right one!
Un grand classique déjà. Teresa y Pablo furent un grand crû du tango. Il faut souligner la finesse des enchaînements, l'élégance discrète de la conduite de Veron, le ciselé des pas de Teresa, et une présence palpable devant un public vraiment privilégié.
Grande, peccato non balli piu' cosi'... ultimamente lo si vede abbastanza spesso per le milonghe di Londra con camicia hawaiiana lunga fuori da calzoni a cavallo basso, scarpe da ginnastica, barbone e capelli lunghi, andatura spavalda e ballata gommoso-rimbalzosa da "tangonuevista": nulla a che vedere con questo video. Sigh.

Maybe youre referring to the orchestra that played in the "Café de los Maestros" movie and CDs? That's not really Gustavo Santaolalla's orchestra!
