  • still dont look real. i dont see why u need this anyway

  • you cant have 4d as the forth dimension is time , so if it was 4d we would watch the whole video in a split second or something

  • poo

  • Nxce, could be better

  • nice, but the water's level don' t encrease

  • What program did you use for the water part?

  • Comment removed

  • Ha, I can do 4D in my kitchen ! :D

  • Can you upload a project?

  • Comment removed

  • that looks like I need to pee now

  • Your particles actually look like water in this one good job man!

  • Looks like the water is partly disapearing... xD

  • Amazing Nice

  • and i tough that blender has awesome water simulations

  • If You would like your intro placed on my channel PM me with the download link.

  • Everythings cool...............Except that the water filling level.it should be at the end like 3/4 full...

  • Kann man einstellen das wenn man das redndert der Hintergrund nicht schwarz ist sondern grün oder Weiß oder blau weil ???

  • That is wonderful.

  • It looks so real!!!! 5 star

  • tutorial for this video plz!!!! IT's cool!

  • To generate this 7 seconds, my computer spends more than 8 hours calculating the water flow and rendering ...

    ;P

  • wow lol will in a good 30 years games will be able to do this

  • what computer do u haveO.o?

  • @aladaris I just got a Dell with Core i7 920 Cpu, Nvidia GTX 260 Gpu, I haven't done C4D rendering in awhile but this computer can run graphics like this in real time. I just haven't been able to find a good fluid demo program that works with 64 bit windows 7

  • @2minds2many Try RealFlow i think that it works in 64 bits

  • @aladaris Yeah it probably does, I just meant that I can't find a demonstration app that allows for realtime interaction with water or fire physics that works on my computer. Like in this video... v=_ubIvvzl7HY

after youtube ... watch... ? add that.

  • @aladaris Woah what?, what's you processor, video card and RAM?, i mean, it's cool and everything but 8 fucking hours?!

  • @HBMHD This was made in 2006, with a 1.8 GHz (single-core) processor, 1 GB RAM and the graphic card wasn't involved :P

Today with my current computer would take less than a quarter of that time I guess.

  • @aladaris Oh my, i can't believe i didn't see the date it was released, well, in 2006 i had an old laptop to render, so i understand now xD.

  • do you know what means 4D ?

no , cause not even a single person in the world can imagine , what can it be =) , that's a fact

  • What? xD

The 4th Dimesion is the time because its an animation ...

  • wtf ? =D

    did u watch the vid i send u ? =)

that tells everything , but anyways , nice animation , i just dont agree with the 4th Dimension stuff , but never mind that xD

  • The time is the time!!!

4yh dimension is when you add another orthogonal dimension to these known three!!

What you may consider is that we cannot perceive a 4th dimensional space at one sight. You need two timelines at the same time to perceive a 4th dimensional space.

That´s because our brain only processes up to three dimensions at the same time.

In other words, you would be able to bi-locate in order to perceive a 4th dimensional space.

    ;)

  • @aladaris hes saying time actually isnt the 4th dimension... because it's not

  • @aladaris Exactly but try to understand/grasp time. What is time. Can you explain time? I honestly can´t O_o

  • @aladaris sigh...don't even know the software name....

  • @aladaris dude thats just stupid

  • @casiel10000 You're.... stupid...

  • @bnnyyan lol i liked your answer i dontknow why lol :)

  • @casiel10000 its the hesitation I made there. ;D!!

  • @aladaris Its a bit more than time...

  • @aladaris now i get it!! cinema 4d that is pretty clever

  • @aladaris how do you graph time? just wondering that's always botherd me...

  • @aladaris

That is true, but in truth 4D is much more than that...

  • @aladaris hahahaha

  • @aladaris yes but calling it 4d is wrong i think... cause that would also mean that everything in the time of the video was happening at the same time.

  • @thuseruseu What? Do you know something about n-dimensions systems (talking about Maths)?

  • @aladaris ... the 4 dimension is time and being able to observer everything that have happened and what will happen at one point. it's the defenition of the 4 dimension.....

  • @thuseruseu Right thats what the program (Cinema 4D) does ...

  • @aladaris ig uess it's somewhat right but not completly. it's more like complete awarness

  • Sabakuno, you don't understand, 4D means time in this instance. You really have no understanding of dimensions besides your youtube insight, and that's obvious, but that's another matter.

  • i just said what i watched , dont blame me for this =)

  • Wise insight. Indeed, at least spatially, no one can imagine what a fourth dimension would be like.

I think it's a cheap cop-out when people say "Time is the fourth dimension."

  • Not if you see it like this:

An object can be anywhere on a line: 1 Dimension

An Object can be anywhere on a line, modified by the position on a different line: 2 Dimensions

An Object can be anywhere on a line, modified by the position on a different line, modified by the position on a third line = 3 Dimensions

  • An Object can be anywhere on a line, modified by the position on a different line, modified by the position on a third line, modified by the ammount of time it stays at that position or the time it moves from one position to a different = 4 Dimensions.

So.. stop being ignorant (to say it in a provocative way) and lay off your mind of 200 years ago :D it's not only about dimensions of space..

  • that was what people thought in the middle ages. But then again they thought that the earth was a pizza and you fall off the edges and people who couldn't think in a different way tried to keep this misbelieve alive while others who understood it travelled on a sphere

  • @DeanMalenko Wow i didnt read this mesages :)

Really nice!! Good explanation for those who's are ignorants.

  • @DeanMalenko Can anyone explain what he just said (typed?)

  • @DeanMalenko The Earth is known to be a sphere since Eratosthene (approx. year -200) calculated its circumference and found approx. 40 000 km, the misbelieve concerned the relative positions and movements of the Earth and the Sun.

Plus, the sphere being the most stable form an object can take (under constraints like gravity), it is and was often seen as the most perfect shape and thus it posed no problem at all to consider the Earth as a sphere.

  • @sabakunogaara92 4D is space and time u dumb cunt!

  • @sabakunogaara92 dude may be we cant imagine it but we can just sort of explain the theory of what is the 4th dimension

  • @sabakunogaara92 dude may be we cant imagine it but we can just sort of explain the theory of what is the 4th dimension bye the way c4d is the name of program

  • @sabakunogaara92

    4th dimension is time.

  • @sabakunogaara92 cinema 4D is the program he made it on, thats a fact aswell.

  • @sabakunogaara92 Four dimensional is often taken as height, width, depth and time

  • @sabakunogaara92 in regards animation it is time, in regards to space and spectrums its being able to see through or know what is beyond a certain point. It confuses the shit out of me.

  • @sabakunogaara92 The 4th dimension is Time, As Times exists like anything else, But you are right in saying we can't comprehend the 4th Dimension, as 4D is not a physical reality, It's is an energetic reality exsiting in phase with our usiverse. Time can not be physically perceived like most other objects and sights we see.

Just one recommendation, Go back to school. :)

  • @sabakunogaara92 you can imagine the 4th dimention as time colors what whatever it is more intuitive for you, in fact you can even see the 3rd dimention as a time on a 2D field.

  • @sabakunogaara92 you know he doesnt say it is 4d...cinema 4d is a program incase you didnt know ^^

  • @sabakunogaara92 do you know that "Cinema 4D" is the name of software n00b

  • how i can make the water?

  • Using RealFlow

  • yes but i need help with the water, because i watched a video of how to use realflow on cinema 4d,but when i try to load my liquid i there where i dont know what to do.Please help.

  • You have a tutorial for making water?

  • I wanna get this but no moneys rawr.

  • how is it 4d?

  • The Time is the 4th dimension ...

  • but ... this is 3D ... not 4D

    what is teh diference?

  • Hehehe, The name of the program I used to render and build the scene is "Cinema 4D"; the 4th dimension is the Time, because this is an animation. ;P

  • -,- the program name is cinema 4d -,- omg and how you make this with the wather effect sry for bad english^^

  • man this is awsome

    keep up the good work

    and thnks for posting

  • Ouh thanks for the tip! ;)

  • Yes, the amount of water being poured into the glass is substantially larger than the amount present in the glass. Or it would seem so. I would say to be more realistic, or pleasing to my eye.. it would probably be about double that amount of water by that point.

    5/5, proper good job.

  • Yes, i totally agree. I'm working on a new version :)

    Thanks ! =)

  • need tuts xD

  • ouh thank you :)

  • it's amazing to know how it works :D

  • give me that .c4d file!

  • lol, Why?!

  • OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG

  • Wow this is actually not that bad

although it makes me have to go urinate

and somehow there is water going in the glass but the glass never seems to get full... i find that strange..

  • cool aber das glas solte sich nach der hälfte schneller füllen sunst suoer 4 punkte!!

  • uno mas!

  • hmmm 4th dimension play. :)

  • good job!!

  • oh god i need to go toilet now

  • Is realflow 4 freeware??? or how can I get it?

  • Its not freeware.

  • I am now thirsty LOL

  • The glass fills slowly...

  • It's a big glass.

  • Yup, i agree :)

  • hey, can i ask, (nice animation by the way) what ver of c4d is rf 4 compattable with? can it work with 9?

  • Its compatible with version 9.x and 10.x 32 bits, i havent found any 64bits plugin.

  • cool ^^ thanks, although i wish it had an internal renderer :/

  • The density is off. But otherwise it's nice.

  • the glass fills up a little slow!

  • Looks real. Although the glass should fill up a bit faster.

  • how did you make importation of sd to c4d

i couldnT make it.. wolud you please make tutorial of this

  • You should download a plugin for C4D, there should beat the realflow webpage. Its not to hard, just install the plugin and in the C4D interface select the Realflow SD import or Realflow SD export (for exporting, the glass, for example, to realflow).

  • How is the water being modeled throughout the video? Do you change it manually by editing bump mapping or the 3D model or does C4D allow you to simulate some of the physics in the liquid flowing into the glass?

  • The flow was made with RealFlow 4.0, the textures, glass, and enviroment was made in Cinema4D. Rendered with advanced render

  • Great job!!! amazing textures. I have a question? How can I make the glass texture? cause, when i model a glass, it doesn´t look like a glass... something is wrong with the values I of the material. Thanks.

  • Its a Shader material, with Fresnel in the transparency and a gradient in the reflections.

You will find it on (the same texture, because i uploaded it there): c4dtextures dot com

  • Hm, I see you've run into the same problem I do sometimes in Realflow, where for no reason some frames will makes the liquid disappear. Do you know why this happens?

  • No, im removing that frame on my new creations ...

It happens qhen you pause, change a value, and resume, the realflow process ... :S

  • Man, if you did the glass and texture, modelling in Cinema4D then you got skills aladris. I just downloaded the demo version and I am lost alreayd but I'll get round it. If I could break into Photoshop and other softwares, then no doubt I will do with this one. Great work anyway. Keep it up. Like to see more!

  • Photoshop is the clue, i made the textures in photohop (including sky and exluding glass texture[it is a shader]) and the glass is not to hard to model.

    Thanks :)

  • Where are the plugins that you have to put in your 3d package, i can't find them, i need the RealFlow to 3DS Max connectivity plugins, can you tell me where to find them?

  • i dont know where to find the 3DS Max Plugins ... srry :\

  • If you go to the NextLimit website and download the free trial version of Realflow 4, it will ask you what 3D application you're using, just put your program in there and you will be emailed a link with everything that you need to get started. :)

  • i didn't like your last version, this one is so good! i like it !

  • the last version was the first thing i do in RealFlow :)

  • Damn, what version of C4d is this!

  • I think it's R10.

  • It is C4D 9 for render, textures and modeling (The glass, the table, the sky), but the water flow was made with RealFlow 4

    :)
