I reckon this "double dump" grabber system would be great on the split trucks in my council, a real timesaver! Out of curiosity, what happens when this truck gets full - does material just stop getting packed in the body or does the packer automatically shut off or something?
Usually the left packerscrew stops turning, you know it's getting full, after that has happend a couple of times and you wiggle it free, the right one will stop turning eventually, when that happens i try to make the end of the street and go to soesterberg for unloading. The most trash falls on the left screw, but will be spread well throughout the container. I dont force the screws too much, keeps the truck in one piece. I can load over 10.000kg's but that's overdoing the capacity for paper.
