I have to say this is brilliant,very faithful to the graphic novel. In regards to last comment,it's 100 years ago as in the year 1900 or so and now its 2000 (just in comic world). Hollywood can learn a lot from this but probably won't...their take on The Scarecrow is utter shite. Whoever made this...more pls. Maybe "Crimson Mist"? Good job.

Actually the title of the comic comic book is Arkahm Asylum : A serious House on serious earth. The young kid at the beginning is none other than the founder of Arkahm Asylum Amadeus Arkahm, and the plot of the comic is how he became insane and turned his home now the Asylum into hellish nightmare. All that 100 years before Joker made Batman spend time in there with all of them in exchange for innocent lives. The point of the story is that Batman must face his own fears of insanity.

Just read the comic Batman: Arkham Asylum. Then you understand this vid. That little kid is Amadeus Arkham (the founder of prison Arkham Asylum) when he was young. Batman wasn't even born there.

So that's why it says "100 years later"

It's not 100 years in the future from Bruce Wayne, it's 100 years before the Bruce Wayne. Plus, the game is based roughly on the graphic novel.

In the first scene, the boy is Amadeus Arkham. It was before Arkham Asylum was founded. 100 Years Later means the present day, when Amadeus' mansion is turned to the insane asylum it is. And on 1st April the Joker invites Batman into the madhouse and takes him through gruelling tests. In case you haven't read the original graphic novel by Grant Morrisson.
