@cnvrt02 its in mid to high 5's, he doesn't start accelerating until 2 seconds in, but the way it pulls PAST 100 is what gets me...not very 4ag-ish and yes i know its in kph

SC12 is supercharger from 4AGZE. There is 3 different stock pulley sizes. MR2 = Slowest, AE92 is good, AE101 is faster. SC14 is from 1GGZE 2L 6 cylinder soarer motor, and also from 2.4L vans (different mounting points to 1GGZE SC14). SC14 is about 17% bigger then SC12. Does take a little bit of work to fit on 4AGZE. Yes a stock 4AGE can take a supercharger but I would go over 7psi. Also the 4AGE ECU and MAP sensor probably wouldnt like boost.
6000rpm would be for the 4a-c, single overhead cam (SOHC) non crossflow motor. 4a-ge 16valve (DOHC) redlines at 7600rpm (just like the one in my aw11 mr2)
yep, with 1GGZE, 4AGZE, 2TZFZE the Z is supercharger. But there was also supercharged versions of the 3SFE and 1ZZFE that had the same engine name as the non supercharged versions.(Corolla Compressor and Comfort GTZ)

I think 4age 16v and 20v can rev up to 11k, just change or add addt'l valve springs to prevent valve float, and then remove the limiter then go for it.. it can probably reach 11krpm on neutral or propably engine failure will most likely occur when reaching 10krpm on stock internals and serious damage above 10krpm..
Lol, why would you want to go to 11k? Your just dropping power, and if doing anything you are hurting your motor. There is a reason for a "REDLINE" and "REVLIMITER"
There is a company which tunes silvertop 4age engines to 280bhp @ 8500rmp. I think it has a rotrex huffer and omex side draft and injectors etc.
But 11k on a stock engine? the valve opening times would overlap the piston's compression, and would pretty much destroy the engine. Not to mention how thirsty an 11k engine would be.
@Walaki usually the valve trains go first when subjected to high rev.. before I completely modified my 2t, I just changed the stock carbs to twin side the changed the valve springs to double trd valve springs and see what the stock is capable of, the stock valve floats at around 7000rpm, but with the springs it was able to reach 9500rpm at 1st gear, after several runs, knocking sounds appear and resulted to damaged valve seats as checked.. stock cams and exhaust are useless at that high revs..

I am giving up on 4As, getting older now and hunting torque. Having done a few AE86 3SGE conversions I am in the middle of building a HKS 3SGTE for my KE70 (sold the AE86).
Advice on 4AGZE - Get cams, SC14 and 100kw manifold. These mods will take you from 15s quarter to 13s quarter and very rev happy.
My AE85 Trueno was 930kg stock (3A-C) and 950 with a ZE. As my AE86 is Aus spec, it has side impact bars, and is about 970-980kg. Above 12psi SC looses efficency, you dont gain much just stress things.
On a different note, I have seen 2 stock silver top 20V engines (with aftermarket Razorback ECUs) rev to 9k several times no problems, and they didnt feel like they were dropping off either.

been in stock bluetops reving to 8200, but my redtop didnt like to go that far. That car is AE86. had AE85 that did about 240km/h @ 7k in 5th. Was 4AGZE+Nevo pulley (11psi) but stock manifold+cooler. Normally change gears ~7500 with the ZE in clip but now I run Nevo. Makes 16psi peak now, but drops off near 7k. Tried stock pulley+283 cams,went to 8 easy-with 9psi, quick as 16psi+stock cams. Now ported one port for each cyl. Gave 10-15% more power+didnt loose bottom end.

Actually on BMI alot of the cars in Hachi-Roku challenges rev over 9k.. some cars even 10k. Output is usually around 220-240PS.
