@fastdrive55 I have been informed there is a windows version although it is in production and currently has quite a few bugs but you can download and try it if you want here:
@TerraDigitalMedia Well thank you good to know. No one said you had to use it and i'm not sure if you're complaining about my crappy sequencing or the drums sounds
@PoliticalDestruction No actually your programming was pretty cool.. not sure how much tweaking you did.. no offense, I just think the set sounds very artificial.. I use BFD and Superior Drums/EZ Drummer , they sound less mechanical and drum machine-ish IMHO,
@TerraDigitalMedia Ah...Thats a problem tying to emulate real drums....I'm not offended just curious as to why you didn't like it, you may want to check out my other Drum demo with H2 it has some better sounds...If i were just making a standard say hip hop beat which consists of synthesized drums anyway it would obviously sound better...Also if one wanted to you could create your own drum set using your own samples. Thanks for watching and the feedback!
@TerraDigitalMedia You don't have to stick to the preset sounds on hydrogen, you can load any sample so in case you find a cool sounding one (or record your own) you can also use it. I think that this demo shows the programming (as you said) rather than the audio quality.
@TequilasWeb WElll this video was posted about a year ago and at that time there was no working version for windows... But its good to know that the people who torture themselves with windows can now use this program, Thanks =D
@rurno666 Just go on their website, click on the "Downloads --> Hydrogen app" tab, then scroll down a bit and download the Windows installer (0.9.6-alpha1 snapshot of February 2011). I use Windows 7 and it works fine for me.
@shiknalt Yess, you can do anything. If you so wish to put the bass drum at 64 notes a second it can be done...Anything seriously... hell you can write stuff that requires 8 hands. If you have any more questions let me know.
@MrDickasaur31693 Na its fine, well right now since i'm lazy ill just tell you how...On the far bottom right where it says sound library (where the drum kits are) You can drag those instruments into the current drum set on the left, then once you have added all the drums you want just go up top click instrument and save library then it will save it and you can just load it in the sound library every time you start Hydrogen.
@MrDickasaur31693 I can if you want yes, its just different cymbals lol, i have more than one hydrogen kit which i used to create my own custom kit, i can just tell you how or if you want me to do a tutorial i can...let me know.
where did you get your drum samples, and which version of hydrogen are you using? i'm running 0.9.4... i like this program, but are so many things wrong with it that i almost want to give up on it. or i'm missing something. i don't know...
@chandlerblancaflor Well i made my drum samples on the program, im running the same version i have no problems with it...Are you running the Mac version or Linux/Gnome version? you can get more drums online from which website IDK but if you have Linux just go to the Package Manager and type on hydrogen and they should come up, if you need more help let me know.
@PoliticalDestruction thanks, i've got hydrogen for mac. i'm not as interested in different drum samples as i'm using superior drummer for the actual drum sounds and i use hydrogen for sequencing. one of the immediate issues i see is that there's no edit menu up top. for example, i've made some disastrous mistakes that could have easily been fixed with a simple 'undo' but i don't see that anywhere. another huge pain is that for some reason i'll plot a hit but it will mark it like 4 notches away
@chandlerblancaflor Well there is no undo or redo functions unfortunately...Umm idk about that last issue... My version doesnt do that but i can say that when i use my mac at school for digital imaging it does weird stuff like that so it might just be a mac thing sorry but i cant help you there...
Just grateful there is no PC version! :)
Sounds like my RX7 bought in 1989.

The general consensus is that this song is absolutely epic in it's failurebility.
So your demo downright sucks, but you think that nobody has a right to say so.
So you know, I haven't listened to the other track, nor have I made a better track myself.
That doesn't in any way make your shitty song sound any better.
Lousy song, faulty logic, & even worse attitude.
If you want to get better, learn to accept and use criticism instead of dreaming up ridiculous reasons to explain it away.

@BoxMyse I see a top comment in the making. This video was made to show the program NOT how bad I am at music or this program, thanks though.
