In the original recording from the film, Jeremy Irons sings the majority of the song. However, after shouting "You won't get a sniff without me!" he threw out his voice, unable to continue singing on the record. The remainder of the song is sung by Jim Cummings, who also voiced Ed the Hyena in “The Lion King” as well as several other Disney Villains including Frollo from “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” & Rasputin from “Anastasia”. Scar is such an awesome villains. He's stated that he doesn't have the muscle, but he's got the wits. I think Disney made a great choice casting Jeremy Irons for the role of Scar and without Jim Cummings, this song wouldn't have been possible.

Being a 20 year old man - I can't say this without raising an eyebrow or two but I really love this film and this is my favourite Lion King song (impressive considering I hate every other Disney film song).

As far as the Nazi references go - it looks like any militaristic parade for a dictator be it for Hitler, Mussolini, Franco, Stalin, Mao, Kim Jong-Il etc.
