Yep, should have downshifted and popped the clutch to let the front wheel drive pull it through the turn. Looks like they were on mud or something, but locking the tires and turning don't work -- you must release the brakes (or have ABS) to steer when that happens...
shit i'd be panicking the shit outa myself! I don't care how shallow it is, if i'm trapped/strapped in and the water is rising, I don't know where it will stop and I'd panic. They just tried to get up above the water, I think it would be smarter to immediately try getting out through the doors and holding their breaths.
