  • Where can one buy a copy?

  • Best part is Ric Flair's introduction.

  • Roy reading that Vern teatched you make shiver, what a great opportunity! i trade some emails with Barry and he´s a fabulous person. my fave 60-s garage band are the Remains, still dream of watching them someday!

  • I just found out that Vern Miller lives in my town! :) For the past 30 years or so...:)

  • has this documentury ever been released in the uk? if so where can I get it?

  • The Bawston Beatles.

  • What's the name of the song playing in the background?

  • @DannyDelReyo when i want to know

  • One of the best issues of Hit Parader (which also provided extensive coverage of the Beatles and Beach Boys) came out in 1966 and included an excellent article about Barry, Bill, Chip and Vern. So good I felt like I knew them personally!

  • @RoyFive I have a priviledge to know Vern because he is my guitar teacher

  • I looooove the Remains!

  • Is there a way to get a copy of that Time magazine from 1964?

  • I'm finally going to get a chance to see this tomorrow night (10/29) here in San Francisco!

I agree with one of the other comments below about the Remains being the best reunion band seen. I've seen a bunch as well and usually get depressed. The Remains rocked when I saw them at the Las Vegas Grind a few years ago.

  • Why they didn't make it ?

    Come ON.....with all respect,but.....

look at Barry,he has a severe case of

    charisma underload.

  • @PAULLONDEN Ever listen to their music? Fuck charisma, these guys had the chops. Who cares if Barry looked like Gerry Marsden's twin brother...they could have blown the Pacemakers off the stage!

  • 'Stood at the door of stardom....and never made it through' : (

  • They weren't lost to me when I heard them on Nuggets circa 1980

  • Of all the reunions I've ever seen - and there have been a TON at this point - the best ever was when The Remains played NYC in, I believe, 1998.

  • The film is being screened in Los Angeles on July 16 at the Don't Knock the Rock Film Festival.

  • So is this really coming out??? I sure hope so!!! (Barry's book was cool but they deserve their own film)

"We were rockin' with the Ramrods

we were shakin with The Pandas

and it don't seem the same

    without The Remains"

-- Better Be Good, The Real Kids

  • whats that from???

  • Better Late Than Never.

  • And?

  • Nashville Film Festival--plus, Barry and The Remains are reuniting to play live !!! can't wait.!

  • where can I see the full documentary?
