  • how do you catch small bull shark? i have tried whole mullet but can never seem to catch one

  • nice vid man whats the name of the song ??

  • Nice video mate good to see your letting em go.

  • @robswarren Get FUCKED ASSHOLE most people do it for sport and let them go. We have respect for the ocean that's why let go what we catch. GO FUCK A SALAD YA HIPPY.

  • anyone here who catches bullsharks or any sharks is a fukn idiot who has no respect for the ocean or rivers & i seriously hope you get your fukn arms bitten off by 1 fishing for fun is of course a fukn white mans way of thinking but fishing for food is a good mans way of thinking..HAVE SOME FUKN RESPECT DAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Nice one Dan, Freaking envious. my sis lives in Brissa gonna have to try this when i'm over there. what time of year is good for them?

  • using the elephant gun long ass rod didnt help u boat those fish.. not to mention it lost most sporting appeal of chasing a fairly easy species to target and catch.. downgrade your gear and really appreciate what a sportfish they are

  • but did ya save ya hat dan?..lol

  • lost your hat mate lol but it takes some skill netting and and fighting it at same time.

  • @nowthisisfishing i thought he got it back cause he was wearing it in the picture with the shark??? Or is that a different one.

  • @CrimsonRonaldo good point not sure though

  • gread vid..

what are you using for bait....PLEAS REASPOND!!!!!

  • @thetoy141

I was using frozen mullet that arvo. Live mullet is a lot better though

  • Hey mate, saw you in the latest Bush n Beach, nice work.

  • @FeelTheDeadWeight Oh really cool, I didnt realize it had come out yet. Cheers

  • not having a go at you or anything, but bring them in slower so you can net them easier. they are to green at the boat. good stuff mate. they are already very thick in the brisy and logan river.....

  • @teammadmullet yeah man, rushed it a bit at the time, having never caught many sharks before, got a bit excited.. haha. what baits ya get em on down the logan in ya vid?

  • @TheFishodan hey man

  • Im in sunny coast caloundra got some serious gear with me you recon i can hook up on a monster if i go for an all nighter in the river there? live mullet is around by the net full at the moment im getting 1kg+ in my net daily got onto a 90cm flathead tonight in the river. want to go for a 2m+ bully you recon i can get onto one?

  • nice catch there mate

  • i think that would be awesome catching bull sharks in a river.

  • hey nice vid, whats the song name?

  • Hey thats a neat boat you got there mate :)

  • ever tried around st lucia closer to the city? that's where I live and willing to have a crack off the bank

  • @rufflesal Never tried up near the city. They are defs there though and know of many people who have caught good ones up there. Better off trying in summer though, i haven't tried at all in winter as they arent as active. Good luck

  • @rufflesal few big ones around there mate

  • wat bait do you use, iv tryed to shark fish but apparently it no good in winter :/ i use either mullet ( live if i can) or fish heads, try to get as much blood as possible, i put tuna oil on it aswell if there not live or fresh, so guy told me about pillies what does he mean by pillies. got no idea what they are =]

  • @bigboxingmike Hey Mate

Na you could catch them in winter I never have though and don't really try as they aren't very active and feeding aggresively in winter. In the warmer months, that's when you should give em a crack, i can't wait for it too warm up again! Seems like your using the right baits, live bait is best!. Don't worry about pillies, means Pilchards. They probably would work, but the catfish would also take liking. Keep using live mullet, and you will get onto some eventually.

  • @TheFishodan yeh will do, havn't really had the best times either low tied or half tied, and not always the best bait as i cant get lives all the time :/

  • Do you reckon you could catch that around jindalee after the floods have happened?

  • @xBlurs Yeh plenty around jindalee ay. not really active this time of year though, mainly summer. Ill start targeting them around christmas should be going good then!

  • @TheFishodan Yeh cheers man

  • spewing lost your hat :/

  • @bigboxingmike I got him back lol

  • good stuff as always man will have to catch up for a fish one day om not to far from u

  • nice catch what rod was the first 1 u used was it a Jarvis Walker upr2 6 inch??

  • Nice catch mate, I got a few questions for you, me and my brother are mad keen fisherman and we are going to Brisbane for university next year so I was wondering what bait, line strength, good fishing spots to go to etc

    Cheers

  • @BrownyNSW thanks. Anywhere in the river hold's a great number of shark's so it doesn't really were ya try. as long as you put in the time and patience you will get em. also trying to different spots and areas of the river will obviously improve your result. Live bait's are the best, so investing in a castnet if you already haven't got one would be the way to go. Good bait's include Mullet and bony bream. Most the sharks aren't that big so 10-20lb line will do the job just fine. Good luck

  • nice vid mate. bull sharks good fun aswell eating first bull shark i got was 4 ft long and got on live mullet whilst fishing for jewfish.. damm they pull hard for the size of em
