  • Wonderful, beautiful images. Bordering on surreal!

  • great pics.

never thought about taking long exsposures before, but i did just get a tripod so im defo gonna try it out!

  • TURN OFF KEN BURNS.

  • Nice mages, but I get very bored with these slideshows accompanied by insipid music and no description of how the photographs were taken, there is just no detail.

Yes long exposure with ND filters, the basics are pretty simple to do but lets have some substance and tell us any techniques in post production you do.

  • superb

  • such a beautiful comment. Thank you Mr. Rockstor!

  • This has definitely inspired me to go out and attempt something similar in future.

So far, all of my long-exposure shots have been at night or in dark conditions.

The images here are so good it's got my poor little brain racing and I can't wait to get out there and try for myself!

    Thanks @sharontenenbaum

  • @RocksterOO1 But right now I'm just going to watch this again! :)

  • I have recently discovered how to do this with ADOBE PHOTOSHOP, masks etc.

  • Imovie is the way to go!!!

  • this is so you buy the book...

  • Lovely images but instrumental music would work better, hearing the singing is distracting, imo.

  • some really nice images here and nice song too!

  • I see you are just as manipulative with your camera as you are with naming your vid. I imagine the book is no different.

  • @KungFUcat10 What is with the comments about this video being a "HOW TO" video??

I don't see ANYWHERE in the title that states that it is anything else than 'FineArtPhotography' that was done while doing long exposures to create.

I don't see "How To Do" or "Tips On" or "Tutorial" Seriously... I see all kinds of other vids that STATE those in the Title- Why not just get some nice ideas from the images, enjoy the Art of it all and move on to some other vids that state they are for learning.

  • @lesliekaner The video is tagged as how to. expand the description. If you search how to long exposure this video comes up. That's what kungfucat10 was referring to.

  • @KungFUcat10 "...But the title suggests you inform us How to Create Long Exposure..."

What title did you read? I saw no implication of that whatsoever. Where are the words "How to?"

  • NICE!

  • Gorgeous photos! What software are you using to present these inspiring images?

    Thank you for the tour,

    The Meltdownman

  • ND FILTER...

  • Tenenbaum... where do I know that name from? :/

  • Great last image, especially, if for Tibetans...

  • Terrific photos. What is the music?

  • Nice images!

  • Do you use a 10 stop nd filter?

  • Great photos, but what time of the day is the right time or he best time to get the best pictures.

  • The song is 'Lay Your Head Down' by Karen Ann

  • @sharontenenbaum hey there, what does long exposure mean ? :O long shutter speed like 1/125 ? or does exposure actually meam the timer ? ?

  • @nightubble

"does exposure actually meam the timer" : No

    "long shutter speed" : yes

    "like 1/125 " : No. 1/125 is short exposure.

Long expoure = several seconds/ minutes/ hours, depending.

  • name of the song please

  • thanks

  • I love it Sharon:)
