  • Normally I'm a purist. Still am. Thanks for the poem. Of course, the King of the Fairies may be anywhere on Earth, but most people wouldn't understand that now, so you might as well give them that danaan bollocks. I prefer twilight to tigers.

  • 10:29 That's all Folks :)

  • ROOOOAAARR

  • FOLK + METAL IS THE BEST THING TO LISTEN EVER

  • This is my favorite folk tune, and to hear a folk metal version of it is a dream come true!!

  • Theres singing.. y call it instrumental?

  • @Acountkiller

Its a good song.. why do you complain about the description

  • Folk metal is one damn good music. Actually it is one of rare good things today.

  • I love this song!

  • In Gaeilge, 'th' is pronounced as the 'h' sound in English. Like "haa" or "oohoo"

  • Love what you love and like what you like and fuck all else

  • 22 people got pick pocketed by some fairy's.

  • wow... I love the king of the fairies tune and do quite enjoy my share of metal.... the combination is pretty good too!

  • Chalking this up to wasted talent. This instrumental is great, but all their other songs amount to "RAAAAAH RAAAAH RAAAH ROOOOOH ROOOOH RAAAAH ROOOH". Dumb. Can't we get some good folk metal with a talented singer? Someone who actually sings instead of growling or screeching?

    Damn shame.

  • @Kiithknight Tuatha De Danann. enjoy it... and also the first Elvenking album

  • @Kiithknight One word: Eluveitie

  • Screw Limey Wankers! Éire go brách!

  • @TMRecordsKenosha brits suck and are all gay.

  • @vickehscreamit scottish isnt too bad. my last name is scottish originated from the hill of slaughter and was made from an irish gaelic translation. but my family is irish, i dont get why people get all butthurt about the scottish james connolly was scottish and england is the enemy, i mean i understand that the scotts that were serving the crown to terrorize the irish were bad but not all scotts are.

  • sorry to hear that celtic tattoos rule keep the faith heritage matters

  • That's true sound

  • i'm no speaking to just us irish, i mean celtics everywhere

  • Fuck the oppressors of the Celtic people!

  • @IrishJuggaloNinja There are no "oppressors," mate, Ireland is sort of its own country. The most badass country there is, if I do say so myself.

  • 21 christians were here u.u'

  • @tristanvintersson It's funny cause Ireland is a very Christen country.

  • do gig i ballyfermot

  • I remember Waylander. Played a gig with them years ago in the corner house near Lurgan,, hallow'ween night. , the door man wouldn't let me into begin with We used their kit. Hughes and Kettner amps if I remember. I had to leave to play a bit of smooth jazzy fingerstyle somewhere else and from from memory Waylander had an onstage punch-up.

    Are there any origionals left?

  • Am the only one who think that the flute plays the high notes false?

  • THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL CELTIC SONG... I LIKE HOW IT SOUNDS... THANKS TO SHARE IT WITH US...

  • happy st patty's to my irish kin!

  • FUCK ST. PATRICK!

  • @HoundofOdin He's dead dude. the Irish rid the world of Ásatrú a couple of times already and we'll do it as many times as it takes.

  • I know he's dead, and hopefully having a shitty afterlife. The Irish rid the world of traditional Norse religion? I think not. You're going to do it "again"? Freedom of religion is gonna put a stop to that pretty damn quick. That right exists everywhere in the Western world, bitch.

  • this settles it, ireland IS the best place on earth

  • I think the irish people have one of the greatest nations of the world. I love the music, the history and the traditions. (OF COURSE ALSO THE BEER xD).

  • @Hellracer91 Grab a Guinness, put a Dubliners/Cruachan/Waylander/Other irish band record on, scream Erin Go Bragh !!! really loud and you won't need to wait for the next life the gods grant you.

  • More a dubliners fan but still nice but ireland isnt a country it is a land mass, the country is called the republic of ireland

  • @chippyni Actually the country and the island are the same. There's a small invasion problem by england currently which is being resolved by referendum. We've even stopped killing their soldiers so they can conduct an orderly retreat.

  • @nilbud erm no? use a political atlas Northren Ireland is not ruled by the republic and you can read what de valera wrote and passed in the dail, stating they had rule over 26 countys of ireland not northren ireland

  • i like his cause i like rock an irish music so i <3 this song

  • @darksilentwinter02

Being American is different than being a bloody Brit.

  • @stupidvampiretwat Ooh, The French rugby coach doesn't like you...

  • Gaelic is a magic language and this one is a magic song :)

Long life to Waylander! Greetings from Italy.

  • OI! It's not an instrumental, it's got lyrics!

Just because they're not in your language doesn't mean they don't count. Sasanach.

  • RI NA SIDHE!!!

    Waylander for life!

  • simple. its a great song yah?

  • This is a cover/nod to The Horslips version/song

  • @DieMenschMaschine85

This is actually an arrangement not a cover seeing as it's a traditional melody mate (Y)

  • @DieMenschMaschine85: I know it's traditional I just think The Horslips version is probably what inspired them to do it.

  • I love the sound the bodhrán makes

  • I love the sound of the bodhrán.
