They fixed that intersection sometime after the accident and slowed down traffic on 119th. But this is Wichita and there are more intersections like this, and they will get fixed as soon as several people are hurt or killed.

@bigt1nyhatch its possible that any accident can be avoided but in this case i would say even if the truck did slow down a great deal he/she still may not have been able to avoid this crash...that truck did not even have 100 ft of highway to attempt to completely stop, it also looked like it was a utility vehicle which means it was most likely heavier than your average pick-up...i would say the drive of the red car was 99.9% responsible for the accident

i dont think he was going for his ears, maybe going to cover his head? human instinct to protect your head in danger? who knows. also yeah he couldnt swear on live television and how was he to know the car wasnt going to hit him? he was actually pretty lucky it was a close call

should have seen today, early this morning when a jeep pulled right in the way of a 70mph semi, semi slammed right into the jeep killing the driver of the jeep instantly. caused the biggest traffic jam when i was going to school. It took me an hour and 12 minutes to go one mile to my college.

i live in Wichita, we have many stupid drivers and intersections around here. what is fucked up is all our roads are straight evertywhere, and still people wreck like this.... you can see cars miles ahead...... but as usual our local gov't won't put stop signs or fix intersections until at least 20 people die there first :/
