i thought using the sharpie was very clever. and i waited about 10 minutes before applying my top coat & it still smeared a bit. maybe next time i'll skip the top coat...

it's not permanent.. it rests on top of the nail polish and comes off with the nail polish........ the point of using a sharpie is to make it easier to do the design

i always wanted to create designs but i dont have all those tools/gadgets they have in nail salons!

i do use scotch tape to do tips on my nails but if you have other ideas on what i can find around everyday household things to use, that'd be helpful :)
