  • lol "iguana like mofo you best gimme teh lettuce"

  • i heard iguanas weren't supposed to eat anything wider than the space between their eyes, but my iguana doesnt like to eat like that, he like to tear pieces off, and how do they eat in the wild, the plants just dont cut them selves up

  • good appetite

  • my red iguana helios would destroy that pussy

  • @GamesGiveYouLife

i bet you feel like a big boy now, congrats

  • @marianoh44 Lmfaoo your so right. That person is retarded (:

  • Beautifull Iguana

  • What you give your iguana to eat? please answer

  • @yoshua231991

you should do your research, theres lots of pages with a lot of info online. i dont have my iggy anymore, but i used to give it collard greens, carrots, squashes, and fruits..( theres some things that are only good in small ammounts.. do your research before you start feeding it) NEVER FEED IT LETTUCE! IT HAS NO NUTRITIONAL VALUE.. MAINLY ITS ALL WATER!

  • I have a baby iggy named Rikii and he is soo cute I got him in Calgary Alberta for 40$ he looks almost exacly like yours

  • too sweet:.. :)

  • ive always thought about getting a baby iguana as a pet... do u have any tips/ideas for maintaining one?what do i need to buy and about how much would it cost me?

  • Babies usually cost about $20 in pet stores.(At least, where I live.) They're relatively cheap to feed, but do require a variety of fresh vegetables and fruits. The most expensive thing would probably be the cage and heating lamps/pads. Google "iguana care" and you should find some good sites. Good luck! :)

  • bullshit it cost 20 bucks to feed a full grown adult mail a proper diet every 2weeks cheaper to feed my 3 dogs

  • They're cheaper than other reptiles, many of which eat meat and insects. Any exotic pet is going to be more expensive than a common cat or dog. DUH.

  • i can get 10000 crickets and 10000 mealworms for 40 dollars and that will do my 2 bearded dragons my columbian tegu and my gecko and tiger salamander for a month

  • i thought its a batchoy but batchoy n cabage r good 4 babby iggs?? nc vid RAR

  • i think you mean buck choy?

and no it looks similar but i hear collard greens, turnip greens, and mustard greens are the best staples. very high in calcium.

but i feed him buck choy sometimes as well

  • i always give him collard greens mixed with whatever i find in the fridge, ussually carrots, parsnip, spinach, etc. and a fruit

you should put up a vid.

  • emmm i gave him lettuce nd he ate it off my hand ( i know its not a good food for him lol ) but den i give him a mix of carrrot green beans tomateo appel banana nd more , wbu?????

  • yeah he started eatin frm my hand 2day he only eat sum of a leave but i was very happy 2 see progres, nd i did even have 2 put it near his mouth which is gd also, i was jst kinda afraid cuz i havent seen him eat much so im happy now seein him eat dat

  • haha ya i know what you mean, what are you feeding him?

  • yeah i have him since before xmass so , bout 4 weeks , hw long did it take you , for him 2 trust you if you can remeber

  • i think he started eating from my hand maybe in 2-4weeks. but he would run away from me for up to like 4 months then they calm down a bit... he is still a bit crazy up to this day lol!

try forcing the tip of the leave in its mouth without hurting him, or when he opens his mouth put the leave in it and theyll ussually eat it.

    gl

  • hw old is he der, i tried feedin my one 2 by hand but it jst wont work

  • here i think maybe 3 months, did you just get yours? theyre really scared for the first week and wont trust you at all.. mine took a looong time for him to trust me.

  • lol i no what u mean by not trusting u for the first week.... i got mine 3 days ago and he whips me with his tail lol.

  • give him a week to settle down a bit, mine was crazy for a while too. just make sure he has food, he will eat it when your not looking most likely. you might wanna try providing him with a hiding spot so he can feel safe.

as for the pads im not sure,if its a heating rock their dangerous, but i never tried pads, i recommend getting a ceramic bulb. the temperature should be 80-90 (about) across the tank.

btw make sure you have proper lighting or your iggy will eventually die.

    gl

  • lol nice, reminds me of my baby iguana that died due to bone disease. it never tried to bite me in any way and ate lettuce just like that in my hand. i will get another one soon. your iguana looks so healthy, i've read enough iguana info so i know alot but a little more info never hurts, im curious what is the cage setting for this little guy? what do you usually feed him? any personal tips? THANX.

  • hey.. is a nice one.. mine is almowst the same..(i have a video whit her) but mine don`t eat from hand :( how you do it?

  • try everyday to offer her a piece from your hand, especially when shes hungry, also get the harder part of the leaf and try to put it in her mouth without hurting her, they usually will eat it.

main part is to have patience, gl =)

  • soo cute..im getting one next month for my bday..how old is the little guy?

  • im guessing he will be close to a year old, lemme know if u need any info on anything =D

  • oh ok..thanks so much =] im goona favorite u then k?

  • Haha, Cute. Hes like "Oooo hey! Yummies :]" I love watching them eat, its adorable.

  • um what are u feeding him cuz mine wont eat

  • Cool iguana, check out mine sometime i have a good feeding video and lighting video just added
