  • So.. I... Took my guitar XD

  • GOD DAMN IT DADDY!! XD

  • i used to love listening to this when i was little my sister had the cd and i always begged my sister play this track

  • 19 people expected to hear a song instead of a monologue.

  • goood god, it's like people look at two comments that are exactly the same and thumbs them both up...

  • Brings back such memories! Wonderful.

  • been looking for this song for over 8 years now. u dont beleive me fuck you.

  • @SkinmealFilms same with me dude maybye even more i was 6 when i was listening to that asi track x ...

  • @SkinmealFilms calm down...

  • Werent we all at one stage or another

  • i used to hear this on the radio when i was a kid

  • I sampled 'wasted youth'- check my channel coz the guy who uploaded this has latest activity: 2006, so my video response didnt get through

  • I mixed this Monologue with another one of Lady Gaga's Monologue (only because this one was to short) and i got full marks for it. I always wanted to do this for a monologue and i finally got the chance,,,,its just amazing!

  • @madamebiLLy82281 - Good work! :)

  • 16 people have a hell alot to learn about rock n roll.

  • 18 ppl have a hell of a lot to learn about laughing as well as RNR

  • I love the last line "BUT YOU'VE GOT A HELL OF ALOT TO LEARN ABOUT ROCK AND ROLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

If you have the CD then you will know that the begining of Everything Louder Than Everything Else plays straight after it! It is brilliant XD

  • brutal

  • Voice like a horny angel! Hahaha thats just god damned brilliant

  • Voice like a horny angel! Hahaha thats just god damned brilliant

  • i might only be 14 but i grew up to this album and i always wanted to hear this song. simply amazing

  • swah

  • Play this before you Play "Life Is A Lemon And I Want My Money Back." That's totally classic.

  • @powertriofan3 its actually the intro to "everything louder than every thing else". So that would probably be more "classic"

  • I REMEMBER EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!, i remember lovin this track too

  • Wow, I Remember Listening To This When I Was Around Seven. I Still Have This Album, Never Found Out How It Got In My Possession But, I Know It Was My First Glance At Rock And Roll. I Was Astounded.

  • i remember my dad going into raptures reciting this to me as a kid. freaked the hell out of me but i always remember: "THAT'S NO WAY TO TREAT AN EXPENSIVE MUSICAL INSTRUMENT!"

  • 17 people are really just one kid, and he died from a guitar.

  • @BAMDANAproductions

    Lame try.

  • @aryllia lame life.

  • You have to have "Everything Louder than Everything Else" right after this. It's kind of anticlimactic otherwise.

  • 16 people are deaf!!!

  • I fucking love this so much. And I don't think I could precisely tell you why... I think partly because the speaker is teetering on the edge of madness...and it's just perfect.

  • great song the blood was dark and rich

  • I remember really liking the song that came after this on the tape....

I wonder if it was just this monologue getting me so hyped up that whatever followed I was going to love!

...it says something about how albums used to be made... We used to buy and album, sit down and listen to the whole thing through. Sure, when CDs came out, we might repeat a song or two... but its not like now where they buy and album listen to 1 or 2 songs and never pick it up again...

  • "Mommy And daddy was sleeping..."

    XD

  • I love how the top comments are the same lol

  • i remember the first time i heard this, i had fallen asleep sometime in the album before this, and then woke back up to this playing on my headphones. one of those things where you start wondering if its really being played or if its some weirdass dream.

  • Never ever trust a guitar that bleeds for about a week. Damn thing will get PMS and sure as hell leave you stranded in the middle of a gig.

  • I´m sure It was stratocaster!!!

  • i'm pretty sure it was a telecaster

  • 16 people have been killed with a fender guitar but they can't remember if it was a telecaster or a stratecaster.

  • XD reminds me of when I fell on top of my french horn. My dad said practically the same thing XD

  • kindda reminds me of the end by the doors all of a sudden

  • I guess 16 people have a hell alot to learn about rock n roll.

  • don't really know why did this, but on halloween night i blasted this from my parents room the whole night. I think i scared the little kiddies

  • Lol I remember when I was a child I used to say this whole part word for word

  • 16 people have a hell of a lot to learn about rock n' roll.

  • AHHHHHH! i found it! thank u thank u!

  • I know im only 20...but i member listen to this when i was younger...and ofcourse..i mean i still do... i member i had this part memorized and then when it switched to the song Everything louder than everything else...i would say to myself...thats a bad (as in good) azz entrance to the song :P

  • heh, I swear the cthullu I heard this on the radio in 1980...or was it 81? ah good times.

  • Featured on the Kleptones "Uptime" album, with a crazay guitar playing to the lyrics!

  • This is possibly the most insane thing ive ever heard.

  • Listen to this when you are high it's honestly the funniest thing in the world. lol

  • @xI2atedx haha, you don't have to be high for that. It's AWESOME.

  • @milkymara lol i know but i would highly recommend it.

  • @xI2atedx ill remember, hehe, try before i die xD

  • Is That Angelina Jolie doing the breathing?

  • Is this realy the only song on the entire youtube that is from meatloaf bat out of hell 2???

And manny ppl dont know the diverence between bat out of hell 1 OR 2

  • i love the way that bat looks.

  • this song is amazing! Gets your pulse racing!

  • this made me laugh so very hard the first time i heard it.

  • @kuzzer13 Horny angel. Not ninja.

  • ...and a voice like a horny angel.

  • No wonder Meat Loaf is Jack Black's father in POD!! this is incredible.

  • LOL! "I smashed it against the body of a varsity cheerleader!"

  • this video is verry cool!

  • wheres the rest of the song :(

  • @Helena2009random

This is a track on it's own, unlike the intro to You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth from Bat 1.

  • can anyone else hear a alien from aliens being killed in this

  • @darths73ph Yeah at around 1:30 and 1:52

  • "Out of" and "Into" are two of the all time greats. ML tried a solo career, but as a 'storyteller' singer with no story to tell.......

Like the Who's, "Who's Next" no bad songs here. If I could only take 3 CDs and a player to the remote desert island, BOH2 and Who's Next would be two of them. Can't decide on which Beatles album to take.

  • @renoindenver

    The White Album, of course!

  • @xxkewldudexx

But that would mean you couldn't have Sgt. Pepper's LHCB. Tough call.

  • After Out of hell & Into hell, ML tried to go solo. Didn't work. ML was a 'story-teller' singer, but without a story to sing.........

Still, two of the best albums of all time. Like 'Who's Next" by The Who, no bad songs here.

  • Do you rememmber b.o.h. 1 ?

On a hot summer night would you give your throat to the wolf with the red roses?

And would you love him ?

on a hot summer night would you feed the wolf with the red roses

i bet you say that to all the boys

something like that cant remember word for word

  • Its not the orignal version.. Meatloaf has a couple more line in the speech..

Such as he says a voice like a horny fucking angel...

Also after the varsity cheerleader he says (I was actually aiming for the junior varisty cheerleader but she was to fast for me these kids today).

Another one was when he goes up to his parents bedroom he says (slowly i turned step by step creeping in the shadows)

  • thats so awesome! if you ever happen upon a copy of that version i would DIE to hear it bc this soliliquy is one of the best things that ever happened to me

  • i do have a copy! a 2000 limited edition box set.

  • it is the original. the one your refering to i think is from the live around the world 1996. there he says it. but ive never heard anywhere else..... cheers.

  • Finally! ive been lookin for this song for a loong time! My dad gave his tape when i was like 5 hahaa

laughing so hard and happy right now :)

  • diminishing returns until death

  • A heart of chrome AND A VOICE LIKE A HORNY ANGEL

    Awesome line.

  • "And I said, 'GOD DAMMIT DADDY! You know I love you, but you've A HELL OF A LOT TO LEARN ABOUT, ROCK AND ROLL!'" Perfect line!!!

  • @inufreak525 haha i loved that part..

  • "youve got a hell of alot to learn about ROCK N ROLL!" lol

  • And i said "God Damn It Daddy!" Bahah! thats great! xD

  • like a voice of horny angel lmfao

  • Ha ha this makes me laugh everytime I hear it!

  • Funny, I grew up with Meatloaf and I knew this song since I was five...I know, say my parents are bad, but at least when I asked what the word "horny meant" they ddnt answer

  • love this one. I wanted 2 play it at our year 12 farewell. But not 2 many ppl knew it so we ended up with Whip it by Devo. (long story, the song has meaning to our year, lol.)

  • God I love this!!!!!

  • real meat loaf fans understand this... hoo i have all da albums...!

This is genious, marvin rocks.. ohh he hates that name...:(!! Meat loaf rocks""

  • I said goddamn it daddy! you know i love you, but you got a hell of a lot to learn about rock and roll! best part of the song, awesome song, if it is even a song...?

  • @zoberman47 No, this is called a monlogue.

  • whatever this is...its awesome!

  • i love this "song"

people who slam it are just proving how narrow minded they realy are

  • before you talk about anything you should learn how to spelly it's "DUMB" not dum.. :]

Anyway I think it was a classic..

    Love Meatloaf Soo Much!!

    Wonderful..

  • the song i downloaded has the intro but the rest is a song ?

n its like 10 mins long?

does anyone know were i can find the lyrics from?

  • You are wanting the lyrics to "Everything Louder than Everything Else".

"Wasted Youth" is the intro to "Everything Louder than Everything Else".

  • stupid that is not true its his guitar breathing dont u get nothing

  • LOL

  • lol, I just realises there is a woman orgasming in the background or summin :S

  • EazyAk you are a moron. It's called a "spoken word introduction"

  • my mom makes fun of me and my dad because we both just sit there and say this whole thing. lols, meatloaf is great. :]

  • Listen to the whole song. Its real rock, and the song and this monolouge (sp?) is what rock is truly about.

  • i love meatloaf just not this song

  • thats so true. all of meatloaf is that way . his music is a story in its self. most people are to stupid to understand that if a song isnt talking about slapping this bitch or killing someone then it cant be a great song

im happy to c some1 else understands my meatloaf

  • Thanks so much for putting this on! :D I love this "song" if you can call it that ;) lol

  • it remembers so much to me...!!

    Rock n'roll!!!

  • I still love the "song"!! :)

  • Wasted Youth is by original much longer. The whole version takes 10 minutes and 39 seconds to end

  • Actually, the song you're thinking about is Everything Louder Than Everything Else. This is the 'song' before that on the album, and it sort of introduces Everything Louder...

  • Yeah. It's like on the Dead Ringer album. Nocturnal Pleasure is like an intro for Dead Ringer.

  • i hav this cd and MEATLOAF RULES

  • Otherwise known as "Love, Death and an American Guitar"...although this version is better than the one that appeared on Jim's "Bad for Good" album

  • Now thats beatiful poetry. J rawk

  • what no video

  • very impressing=)

    where's the video???

  • It's just the song ;) . On my favs you'll seea video of the same track, but much older. And of course, Jim Steinman much younger. Very very weird!.

  • @bittersweetQ It comes before another of the songs on the cd. No video.
