Just heard Sperger concerto for hunting horn on the radio. Didn't get much information but great sound.

I think it was from this CD:

I didn't know that Sperger wrote for the trumpet. Again he is an underrated classical composer.

Yes, you are right! Sperger composed so much, special for Double Bass (he is the most considerable bassist of the 18 cent.!). He wrote the most significant classical doublebass-concert! - but nobody knows this! Also the bassplayer not! It is sad, it is a tragedy.! Great musician, great player, great composer!

Also his Viola-concerto very good.!
