@BlackSkyThunder I've grown up on Depeche Mode, and I partially named my guitar after Martin Gore. In fact, I'm jealous of his Gretsch and I'm still saving up to buy one haha! They're one of the BEST English bands aside from my other obsession, The Smiths. But I also shallowly recognize Dave Gahan's physical traits as well ;) I want Alan Wilder to "Come Back" just as much as any DM fan would crave. I have to admit, I was a little insulted lol. And no, I didn't Google.

@BlackSkyThunder And I have to agree with them being an incredible international band, they've influenced so many musicians around the world, including myself. Many artists have covered them yet NO ONE has that distinctive sound like Dave's voice, which is a DM signature. But he has his own unique lyricism being solo as well. Okay I can't stop talking about how awesome they are... now look at what you've done!

Yeah... the style and look in Dave´s notorious 90´s.Dave has told in interviews, when he got sober in the late 90´s, that he tried to get the attention from all those rock´n´roll cliché guys, he never ever could have become. I remember reading an interview, when someone from the support band " Primal Scream " of the " Devotional " tour said, that Dave was a really nice guy, but they were the totally wrong guys for him to hang out with.
