Thanks for the timely response. I've been a fan for a couple of years now and am planning my first ferro-cement building to be built this coming Spring. Your videos have been nothing short of inspirational. I plan to be building the folding machine in a few weeks. Thanks again and continue to be awesome!
@GentleKharmaFarm Thanks! This spring is also going to see a long awaited project of mine to near completion. A very specific architecture has emerged from this free-form, terrain integrated, pavilion permitting approach. Can't wait to share. You can buy a folding machine that should work fine. It is called the Big Bendito, manufactured by Warren Marine Supply in Rhode Island. Have not got a price quote from them for the five foot plus model you will need. Good Luck.
The steel is 10 gauge wire called Welded Wire Remesh and also called 6-6-10 Welded Wire Reinforcing. The 8 gauge is nice too and you can get it at your local hardware store but Alliance Steel in San Antonio Texas provides the highest quality stuff. If you pick up in San Antonio, you will get the best price and you don't have to buy a whole lot. Also, picking up the steel from Alliance means it won't be damaged and you can buy it in flats, which may be preferred.
