  • Eisenhower (GOP) 91% Tax rate

    Nixon (GOP) 72% Tax rate

    Reagan (GOP) 50% Tax rate

Bush Jr. (GOP) 40% Tax rate

    Obama (DEM) 38% Tax rate

The Tax Men came and are gone, PISS OFF GOP RETARDS

  • I don't know about you guys, but I've got the feeling that the republican party is just a collection of several parties. Sure, Obama isn't a good president, but Bush wasn't either. Have they forgotten that? Yeah... as usual.

  • I wonder if Democrats will actually pay taxes this year. Or is Obama still looking for more tax cheats to fill his Cabinet?

  • Is this ad serious or is it supposed to be hilarious?

  • This ad is bullshit

  • Thanks Obama for the tax cuts.

    haha, people HATE this ad!

  • Thanks for cutting taxes this year. We understand you guys needed a little boost after you SAVED THE ECONOMY.

    Support Dems.

    Democrats 2010.

  • Thanks for the tax cut Obama. Best of luck in 2012.

  • Gimme a break. I'm an educated person and I know who and why we're in the situation we are in. I wish there was more debate between parties and candidates and less of these commercials.

  • What a terrible political ad

  • GOP candidate field is sterile. The candidates are all bland in achievements or tainted (already) by corruption. Palin is the biggest clown in history. I hope she finally learned the role of a VP. She represents the typical GOP politician, in pursuit of money. She resigned as governor to tour her book and make $. She established a PAC to buy her own books and make $. That's all the GOP cares about. Not people. #'s and $'s. The GOP=THE corrupt and dying party of the United States of America.

  • The GOP single handedly ruined the country with 8 years of Bush. Bush still evokes negative feelings with the average American. Bush spent the majority of his adminsitration pushing for and prosecuting an illegal war in Iraq, all the while neglecting the primary war in Afghanistan and letting OBL roam free forever.

At least Obama, with the Stimulus, is helping create American jobs and making vital improvements to the infrastructure. Hey, Bush did the same thing-only in Iraq.

  • The Democratic party is one of multiracial diversity and acceptance, the GOP is one predicated on and of bigotry and hatred. Look at how the teabaggers, a fringe GOP organization, rail against Obama the "nigger" comparing him variously to a monkey, a zoo animal, hitler, and the antichrist. They also rail endlessly against people of Hispanic or Latino descent. I guarantee you, with time, this will spread to encompass Blacks and Asians. The party is one of dissaffected and angry old white men.

  • @porsche187 Where have you heard this disgusting rhetoric? It certainly is not, and never has been true. Are you making this up yourself, or are you just a willing tool of the left, spouting whatever they tell you to. Please, let's debate real issues, not boiler plate rhetoric with no real substance. And also, let's refrain from the hateful insults, they buy us nothing, and cost us much. Take the time to research the issues for yourself. We'll all be better off for it.

  • @Mrgrauadler The Truth often hurts. If you want to deny it, go ahead and call it "rhetoric" "kool-aid drinking nonsense" "parroting" etc. The fact remains that there is no fundamental political realignment occuring, whether due to teabaggers or due to republicans gaining control of Congress. They are only regaining control because of the poor WORLD ECONOMY which US PRESIDENTS have little control over. The problems we have today largely began on Bush's watch back in the early 2000's.

  • @porsche187 Sir, you haven't stated any truths. In point of fact, your are saying nothing. Incidentally, calling Tea Party members 'Teabaggers' isn't sophisticated, it's only foul, and despicable. And speaking of despicable....here's an actual fact. The New York Times reported this weekend a story on Democrats backing fake Tea Party candidates. That smells of desparation to me. Again, try actual facts, not just fuzzy acusations. The truth will set you free. That's all I have for you.

  • @Mrgrauadler In fact, teabaggers are a group with no identity. Colin Powell says you don't have agenda. Karl Rove said that he has little faith in the movement and in some of the candidates. The USA Today had an article basically showing that the party is a white conservative movement which it largely is and one that is afraid of change and would prefer to stop Gay Rights, Muslims, Mexicans, and other desirables from sharing in the freedoms the rest of us value and treasure!!

  • Republicans are sad road kill. They have been roadkill for quite awhile. And their solutions? More and more radical, making the party all the more obsolete and minority.

I guess this explains why democrats control the presidency, the house, senate, majority of governorships, majority of upper and lower state house seats. We are a party of solutions. A party of action. A party that champions minorities and the common people, not spits on them!

  • white man running exactly what obama wants

  • I'm afraid and you should be! When you lose your freedom you will possibly wake up!

  • I'm afraid and you should be!

  • sad but true for the most part

  • SNEEZE TAX! IRS agents will be counting those sniffles!

  • Except Obama actually decreased taxes to poor people, hmmm your video does not make sense now...

  • @SkiddelyDiddely when did he do that? lol

  • @jzumbro19 well there was actually a decrease in taxes from last year for about 80% of Americans. Maybe it wasn't much but it was less.

  • @SkiddelyDiddely how is that possible when the whole "American's that have an income of 250k or higher will only be taxed by it" and then that whole thing collapsed, i think it was the VA tax? cant remember the exact name of it. but less than half of America is paying taxes and the half that isnt is getting tax returns, that to me is messed up

  • @SkiddelyDiddely do you actually believe that nonsense.. SHOW ME LOWER TAXES

  • @ofcccaddy2004 I don't know how I can do that, just look online. Maybe you should try showing me higher taxes...

  • @SkiddelyDiddely ill show you higher taxes.. cigarette tax raised twice, soda tax 3 cents a can.. tanning tax just began on july 15. the bush tax cuts expiring on dec 31 which means everyones rates are going up no matter what bracket you are in... not too mention a 2 trillion dollar deficit which will be funded only by raising taxes.. there's your higher taxes

  • fascism kicked the shit out of unemployment... hope our dear leader grows the fuck out of government and purges these capitalists.

  • This......this is a joke right?

  • @jamestaylorguy

    ooooooooooooohhh BURN!!!

gtfo of here with that shit. yeah both parties suck beyond all comprehension. but only one of these parties actively supports candidates who think the earth is 6000 years old and that Obamar is a dyed-in-the-wool Socialist (a slap in the face to real socialists everywhere). your party is the party of... retards.

  • i used to be a hard workin american but obama came 2 my house and said "this is how you pay taxes now" nd he kidnapped me and brought me to a secret government facility and they gave me surgery to become a dog.

i typed this with my paws and it took 3 hours. Wake up AMerica Don't Let This Happen To YOU!!!!

  • @jamestaylorguy NO no no you got it wrong I worship sex with my sister and toilet paper.

  • i literally thought this was a parody until the very end

  • white man runnin' from a black man

  • OBAMACARE/OBAMA ELIGIBILITY

    MARCH ON WASHINGTON DC

At the Ellipse Presidents Park South

17th St & Constitution Ave, NW

    DATE: SATURDAY, MAY 29, 2010

TIME: 12:00 NOON 4:00 P.M. Help Make This Go Viral!!!

  • Uh, I just did a Google search for all these new taxes. The only "source" these websites are getting these claims from are the GOP ADS. Ads, of which, have nothing to back its claims up, either. This entire ad is a big fake. Obama has LOWERED taxes for 98% of Americans.

  • @VoiceHunter Really? 98%? How do you cut taxes for people who don't pay taxes? When 47% pay no Federal Taxes & 40% get back more than thy paid in, how do you cut taxes for 98% of he people? Welfare by any other name is still welfare. if you get back more than you pay in, you are getting welfare, at least be honest enough to admit it.

  • @stopbarack1 Oh, so you're saying we should raise taxes! Huh! Pretty interesting to hear this shit come from a neocon like you.

  • @stopbarack1 You know, I was going to write some sarcastic goading response, but fucktards like you are just so incomprehensibly stupid and asinine that I can't begin to write.

  • @jamestaylorguy You listen to James Taylor? Then you know a lot more about taking it in the ass than I do.

  • My wife and I file jointly. We are in a "middle class" bracket.

We paid less federal income tax this year than last. So, thanks Mr. President for

not sticking it to the middle class. However, we still pay at a higher rate than the criminal bankers and hedge-fund manages on Wall street. So, you have our vote to stick-it to them. They have lived off the middle class for long enough.

  • End the income tax! Ron Paul 2012!

  • Just wanted to let you know -

Today I received my stimulus package for 2010. It contained two watermelon seeds, cornbread mix, and 10 coupons to KFC. The directions for the watermelon seeds were in Spanish.

    Hope you get yours soon!

  • @dkkght46

ahahaha that's so funny and absolutely true (as an analogy).

  • So Obama increased a few taxes. So has almost every president fro the last 100 years. (Except maybe Regan) But does this video actually think that Republicans are actually going to lower them?

Libertarians are the only ones who are really going to lower public spending, debt, and taxes.

  • @Skyler827

ALERT!! Uninformed person!! Obama has a tax plan to increase taxes by $1.1 TRILLION. if you don't think that's a lot, i don't know what is because that's not including the taxes he is keeping from the Bush administration, which the Bush administration put in. Now, mind you, so you don't tell me i'm leaving something out, there will be a $1.4 trillion increase for some businesses and the wealthy and will cut $330 billion for middle class and other businesses, equaling $1.1 trillion.

  • @Kazuobot I never said Obama is not increasing taxes, and I never said they ware not a lot. 1.1 Trillion is a lot. However, this increase as a proportion of the taxes we pay is not unlike other presidents' tax increases. My point was that the whole premise of voting republican is just as flawed, because Republicans tend to increase the taxes by the same outrageous proportion every year.

Besides, the question of taxes is meaningless if you don't factor in the cost of inflation and federal debt.

  • @Skyler827

actually, each president has increased taxes about the same amount......until Obama. $1.1 trillion?? that's way more than doubling it. no other president has increased it this much. Also, the federal debt will sky rocket during Obama's term, so that is irrelevant. And anyways, the question of taxes is never meaningless because people will end up giving more and more money to the federal government as taxes increase.

  • @Kazuobot Democrats actually tend to lower the deficit more than republicans. Obama is raising so many taxes that the federal deficit is not marginally increasing. Bill Clinton ran a budget surplus. While republicans hardly increased taxes and ran huge deficits, democrats raised taxes and reduced the deficits. Both are symptoms; the problem is their common denominator: spending. I don't oppose Dems or GOP for their taxes or deficits, I do it for their spending.

  • @Skyler827

Reagan raised taxes several times - a large tax increase on business in 1982, higher payroll taxes enacted in 1983 and higher energy taxes in 1984... of course his legacy will always be that he cut the top marginal tax rate substantially (which is true) - but this really only helped the very wealthy.

  • but see, those are FACTS. and the GOP isn't really into facts.

  • I need the government to hold my hand and pay for my health care and welfare. God forbid I have to work. I hate evil rich people and those corporations everything is there fault. We need the gobmit to protect us because we have no spines. I think I summed them up well.

  • i can't wait for gov't run healthcare, because I'll finallly be able to afford it.

  • @Plisskin84

Too bad it will be crappy healthcare that people with private healthcare will soon come to loath.

  • those who are targeted by this (the easily misinformed), i urge you to please take offense and realise how stupid you are being made out to be.

peoples lack of perspective and willingness to think critically about a very nuanced arena of thought is being take total advantage of.

ffs... americans are becoming so spoiled ignorant its nauseating. you complain about money, for once finally, being put to good use (healthcare for example, economic recovery) and you act like honest to god morons.

  • All Property indeed, except the Savage's temporary Cabin, [...] and other little Acquisitions absolutely necessary for his Subsistence, seems to me to be the Creature of publick Convention. Hence the Public has the Right of Regulating Descents & all other Conveyances of Property, and even of limiting the Quantity & the Uses of it. [...] whenever the Welfare of the Publick shall demand such Disposition. He that does not like civil Society on these Terms, let him retire & live among Savages. [...]

  • WoW you guys are so stupid and spend money of this type of shit? what's wrong with republicans? are THEY SCARE THAT THEY HAVE TO PAY TAXES?? ?????????

  • @Vanymtview24latin

DUHH, i think everyone should be scared to pay taxes. the government is already taking out around 30% of everyone's money who is in the middle class. Soon, people will have no money left because of all these stupid taxes and will have to rely on welfare. This will cause the market to fail because hardly anyone will have money to pay for anything, causing businesses to close, which, in turn, will cause people to lose jobs and lose money. SO: BIG GOV. = LOTS OF TAXES = FAIL

  • This is satire right? Ripped straight from The Onion?

  • i think teabaggers should just secede already. we can use the electoral map from 08 to draw the lines. then we can build a wall (shovel -ready project right there). we can use stimulus funds to move all the normal grownups to the Nu United States and all the frothing nitwits to the Confederacy Redux. real Americans can get on with the business of running a country and the petulant children can spend all day teabagging each other & talking about how God Hates Fags and abolishing the minimum wage

  • How could you even parody this stupid shit? Did someone actually get paid for making this sub-nazi propoganda?. Even a teenage Goebbels could have done better than this ham-fisted scare fest.

  • I can't stop laughing someone help

  • I paid fewer taxes this last tax cycle, and I also got them all back via tax returns.

    s**t was so cash.

  • The dramatic music is what makes this video 100% hilarious.

ALSO HOLY SHIT A TAX ON SNEEZING?!?!

  • Truth: 1950s taxes 2-3X higher, under more public debt, yet business boomed, and unemployment: 3%. We pay less tax than we have in decades. Taxes have gone down this year. Average refunds, up by 10%.

    .

But this video travels through another dimension, a dimension of blindness and illusion. A journey into a dismal land whose boundaries encompass paranoid imagination. Thats the rickety signpost up ahead - your next stop. You've just crossed over into the GOP Zone.

  • @metropolitical Brilliant! The tax rates may have been higher in the 50s, but there were more tax deductions available then making the effective tax rate lower. Hey, did you know you could deduct auto, personal and even credit card loan interest payments? Brilliant!

  • @Kokopnyama The modern effective tax rate is still lower for the wealthy since there are still a few killer loopholes that allow the effective tax rate for the wealthy to dive well below that of the median income earners. Prior to the Great Depression, tax revenue as a percentage of GDP was under 5% but with FDR rose to nearly 25% (WWII) and currently is about 16-18% of GDP. Corporate tax revenue has decreased the most since 1940 (by over 50%), dropping from 6% of GDP to about 1.5% of GDP.

  • @Kokopnyama more to the point:

In 1955 the effective tax rate for the wealthiest = 51.2%

In 2007 the effective tax rate for the wealthiest = 16.6%

In 1955 the effective tax rate for median earners = 7.4%

In 2007 the effective tax rate for median earners = 13.6%

The effective tax rate for the wealthiest has fallen dramatically by 70+% since the 1950's but has doubled for median earners, and depending on the individual case, is likely higher since many are losing mortgage deductions...

  • @metropolitical So what's your point? Higher taxes on rich people equals 50s style prosperity? How? The Govt gives you their paycheck? Taxes come from future revenue. How's that possible if the rich just stop investing and creating jobs when confronted with higher taxes (in 2011)? And when taxes on Corps are passed as lower wages and higher prices? Do you think rich people will sit around and pay more taxes?

In 1955 the effective IQ of Democrats = 109

In 2010 the effective IQ of Democrats = 69

  • @Kokopnyama First, the increased tax revenue helped pay down the war debt, plus the government spending in the war itself created a dynamic manufacturing base in the US. Basically higher taxes, properly spent, is generally better at creating beneficial long-term infrastructure changes than anything the myopic concerns of private enterprise can come up with.

  • @Kokopnyama And, your fabrication of facts is ironic. From Time, this year: "The Add Health study shows that the mean IQ of adolescents who identify themselves as "very liberal" is 106, compared with a mean IQ of 95 for those calling themselves "very conservative." "

Let's examine the implication of your *fake* facts: "Smarter" 1955 Dems created and maintained high taxes for the rich and low taxes for the middle class. Therefore, it's intelligent to do so.

  • @Kokopnyama Warren Buffett said nearly the same himself: “The way I see it is that my money represents an enormous number ... little pieces of paper that I can turn into consumption. If I wanted to, I could hire 10,000 people to do nothing but paint my picture every day for the rest of my life. And the GNP would go up. But the utility of the product would be zilch, and I would be keeping those 10,000 people from doing AIDS research, or teaching, or nursing.”

  • @metropolitical Comparing Warren Buffet a private citizen who is free to spend his money as he wishes, to the Federal Govt which does not produce wealth but redistributes it, is ridiculous. Many of those he could hire could take the income earned and create "utility" by hiring others who produce more utility, just as Warren Buffet was once hired. The Govt is inefficient in producing "utility" due to lack of competition. Proven by Obama comparing the money-losing US Postal service to FedEx.

  • @Kokopnyama your comparisons are absurd: FedEx doesn't do very much compared to what the USPS does. You're comparing proverbial apples and oranges. Personally I find FedEx is expensive by comparison, and I'd don't use it because of that. The two services have a somewhat different niches, different missions. If affordable and useful postal delivery requires supplemental taxes, then I couldn't think of a better way to spend tax dollars.

  • @Kokopnyama All of which is why Warren Buffett also said, “There’s class warfare all right, but it’s my class, the rich class that’s making war, and we’re winning, but we shouldn’t be.”

Prosperity rests in what we do for the long-term, and the only interests fulfilling that role predictibly are non-profit enterprise, as in government spending or charity. That is why Warren Buffett advocates higher taxes on the wealthy and will donate almost all his wealth to charity.

  • @Kokopnyama And if Warren Buffett doesn't convince you, listen to the words of one of our own Founding Fathers, Thomas Paine in his essay, "The Rights of Man":

"...[We should] pay to every such person at the age of fifty years ... the sum of six pounds per annum out of the surplus taxes, and ten pounds per annum during life after the age of sixty... This support, as already remarked, is not of the nature of a charity but of a right."

  • @Kokopnyama Thomas Paine wrote a quite a bit about using taxation to fund direct social spending, which I am not even doing. Using the government for stimulating the economy worked great for the Depression, and in fact there was a much larger federal deficit post-war then than now as a percent of GDP.

  • @metropolitical FDR's govt spending prolonged the Great Depression. There was less work on average during the New Deal than before FDR took office. Total hours worked per adult, including government employees, were 18% below their 1929 level between 1930-32, but were 23% lower on average during the New Deal (1933-39). Private hours worked were even lower after FDR took office, averaging 27% below their 1929 level, compared to 18% lower between in 1930-32.

  • Comment removed

  • @Kokopnyama Like now, extensive losses are tied to individual lives which represented decades of earnings for some, or large portions of people's lives. That has a dramatic and prolonged effect on people with or without employment. To know decades of wealth disappeared tightens spending no matter what tax policy is. The problem was in the policies that allowed such problems to build up in the economy both in the 1920's and 2000's.

  • @Kokopnyama The lower hours working post-Depression only represent the fact that lots of people lost a lot of money and could no longer afford to spend. Ask any psychologist, since you are painfully unaware of basic human nature. Post-traumatic hesitation lasts for years after the initial trauma, physical or psychological.

  • Comment removed

  • @metropolitical I'm not concerned about Warren Buffet. Just because someone is rich doesn't indicate they're correct, anymore than George Soros' billions would make him intelligent.

  • @metropolitical Paying someon "six pounds per annum" or any other amount out of the Govt trough has been proven to be a ponzi scheme leading to govt bankruptcy solved only by printing fiat money borrowed from banks based on the future payments known as taxation and thus a burden upon society in the form of inflation - helping to destroy the middle class. You're obviously blind to the past few years of people losing jobs and homes, indicating your IQ as measured is inaccurate.

  • @Kokopnyama The destruction of the middle class occurred because both Repubs and conservative Dems raised taxes on the middle class over the last 50 years on them while lowering them for the wealthy. If you want business to thrive at all levels of society, wealth must be less lop-sidedly distributed. Whether government can clean up its act and properly direct its spending to grow the long-term prospects of the economy is another matter. Bridges to nowhere don't count for much.

  • @metropolitical Barack Obama's trillions spent to stimulate the economy has not done so. Thus all your Ivory Tower facts are false when practiced in real life. People are losing homes, jobs and savings, the real goals of Progressive thinkers as Marx to force people to rely on Govt. The trillions of dollars have gone to Unions, cronies and used as kickbacks to the Democratic Party, to buy votes and favoritism. GM is now junk, the USD is worth less and the economy sputtering over uncertainty.

  • @metropolitical JFK, the poster boy for all Democratic Presidential candidate wanna-bees advocated a major reduction of the tax rate on individuals stating it would stimulate investment. This was proven by R.Reagan lowering taxes in the 80s after 1-term Jimmy Carters malaise policy of high taxes and high interest rates to pay for the deficit. Your so-called facts about FDR's spending during the Great Depression has long been dis proven. Not even JFK agreed with FDR.

  • @Kokopnyama Benefit only counts if it's proportional or greater to the damage it causes. And your facts are incorrect: tax rates were fairly flat, if not identical, from Nixon to Carter to the beginning of Reagan's admin. The oil crisis of the 1970's had more to do with runaway inflation during that period since its supply was constricted and prices shot up, affecting the price of everything. So effectively, taxes went "up" across all income, but such hurts the middle class more.

  • @Kokopnyama Moreover, the Fed Chairman at the time Carter became Pres was Arthur F. Burns, a Nixon appointment. After 2 years Carter replaced him with George W. Miller, and eventually Paul Volker. Some of that 70's problem, besides the oil crisis, was with the Fed policy, not Carter. Carter left us with Volker who is credited with bringing Reagan "his" victory over inflation. Volker, a lifelong Democrat. Volker, who now is helping right another Republican mess with new bank regulation.

  • @Kokopnyama If you remember, inflation rose sharply in 1970 and continued until 1980. Carter inherited inflation from Nixon-Ford. Tax rates were constant in that period & didn't change much until 1982. But inflation began dropping prior to Reagan's lower income tax rates, so on what basis are you claiming Reagan's tax policy is what cured inflation?

Volker's tight monetary policy cured inflation. A Democrat. Appointed by a Democrat. Republicans were just lucky to reappoint him.

  • @Flamesdupont Aww...Remember those who thought Bush was finally giving something back to the poor folks... $300 to $600 for people who have an income between $3,000 and $75,000, plus $300 per child. Couples earning up to $150,000 would get $1,200.

This was just an advance on next year's refunds, and most, if not all of the money, was deducted from taxpayers' refunds--if they got one, if not they wrote a check back to Uncle Sam.

Not suffering from short term memory loss....

    ~Peace

  • @edwardebbs Difference is Bush didnt call them a tax cut democrats are trying to make people think they got a tax cut when they really got a stimulus check spread out over the year.

Demcorats have people actually thinking they got a tax cut when they didnt. They got the samething Bush did but less amount then Bush

  • @Flamesdupont

No they actually got a tax cut, the stimulus money had nothing to do with this....

  • @jl931 No NO ONE got a tax cut they got a stimulus check that was spread out of over the year in their paycheck I dare you go google it the 1st year the amount was 12-13.00 extra per check as of Jan the amount changed to 8.00.

If it was a tax cut the amount extra in peoples check wouldnt change

  • This is the most unintentionally hilarious ad ever.

  • Wow, congrats GOP. This ad felt just like a segment from The Colbert Report.

  • Reagan Tax Increases:

Tax Equity and Fiscal Responsibility Act of 1982, Highway Revenue Act of 1982, Social Security Amendments of 1983, Railroad Retirement Revenue Act of 1983, Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985, Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985, Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act of 1986, Continuing Resolution for 1987, Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1987, Continuing Resolution for 1988

REAGAN ADDED 2 TRILLION TO THE NATIONAL DEBT

  • @wvfii Exactly. Republicans and democrats both spend and spend, The only difference is the democrats go to the taxpayers for money, and republicans go to the printing press. Their career depend on more spending, more medicare, more government, more troops, more congressional committees, more EVERYTHING. Libertarians are the only ones who back up the belief that you can spend your money better than the government.

  • Reagan = SOCIALIST (or fascist or communist or maoist - whatever you double-digit IQ folks are mistakenly interchanging these days).

Reagan increased taxes on business in 1982, higher payroll taxes enacted in 1983 and higher energy taxes in 1984.

  • wow this is a pretty unpopular video. epic fail, gop.

  • bahahahahahahhahaha too "tax on sneezing" BAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH

  • Those who actually think this video has logic behind it are fucking retarded, that is all.

  • @dEEdUURdUUR Yep just insult instead of debating the actual topic of the video thats so intelligent. Children are great at insults

  • @Flamesdupont I can't tell you how much I've tried to talk sense into you people, it's a major waste of time, So I shall stick with my first comment and just say you all are fucking retarded.

  • @dEEdUURdUUR Original post still stands because you cant debate the points made in the ad because they are true. Democrats have signed 670+ Billion in new taxes that will start within the next 10 years.

So instead all you can do is name call like a child to try and discredit the ad. I have already proved proof there were no tax cuts it was a credit and proof for the tax increases

  • Will pooping be taxed?????

  • So the GOP paid and sponsored this add?

Good grief, they must think the American Public is stupid. Don't you know most people have Internet capibility to check facts. The old way do not work anymore. Grow-up

  • @edwardebbs Most believe they got a tax cut when they actually got a tax credit Basically a stimulus check for 400.00 that was spread out over the year

Not calling them stupid just not as informed as the rest

  • I dare someone here to challenge this statement: According to the Bible, Jesus would be more likely to side with liberals rather than conservatives.

  • @wiimoode

To be fair, a lot of Christianity, especially Protestantism, tends to more closely follow the teachings of Paul, who was kind of a dick.

I'll pretend I'm a Republican for a second so I can give your challenge a whirl:

"Jesus taught about charity, but taxes are forced charity from the government so I shouldn't pay anything! No, that's not selfish!"

    That hurt to type.

It's hard to do. A lot of Christians will go through insane mental hoops to avoid being connected to liberalism.

  • @BLARGHALT Yeah Paul both persecuted and never saw Jesus in person. Really if a Republican really did reply me to that I'd say "You got it all backwards." Guys like Pat Robertson might say something dumb like that too.

  • @wiimoode Also Jesus was a carpenter he worked he didnt feel you should be lazy and not work to provide for yourself. He wanted you to help others and not allow money to rule you but he never said having money was terrible long as it didnt rule your life. He also didnt want you to be taken advantage of either.

But I'm not getting into this anymore then that

  • @Flamesdupont He's right(obviously) he warned a lot on the dangers of immense wealth. He exposed the illusion that poor people are just lazy and are to blame for their own problems.

  • Man Obama looks so suave in every shot. He can take my money.

  • This is the stupidest ad I've ever seen. I'm not American, but aren't 98% of U.S. citizens getting tac cuts? And what part of the healthcare bill is government-run?

  • @MomSaysImCool Lol I love how the number goes from 95% to 98 to 99% all in this page lol NO one got a tax cut they got a tax credit there is a difference Obama basically did what Bush did pass out stimulus checks Bush gave 1 time checks for 600.00 Obama gave 400.00 spread out over 52 weeks in your paycheck.

Those that repeat that tax cut is uninformed and believes all Obama repeats

  • @Flamesdupont Well I think the point is that people actually do disagree about the numbers. Obama has been saying 95%, but the think tanks are saying something closer to to 98%. The numbers are up for debate. I can't really speak to your second point, except to say that I'm reasonably certain tax cuts were given. Maybe not directly, but people paid less in taxes.

  • @MomSaysImCool The number of people that actually got a tax CUT IS 0 I Have provide info from the La times even that says it was a tax credit google it. Its basically a stimulus check spread out of time the amount last year was 12.00 Jan it got lowered to 8.00 and this is the last year unless they extend the credit

Some need to remember income is not the only tax you pay. When gov taxes a business that tax is then passed on to you in the form of higher cost of that product

  • @MomSaysImCool People are confusing a tax credit for many varies things as an actual tax cut. The reason that people got back more this year is they qualified for a credit of some sort. Some even got the 400.00 given deducted from their refunds and would have gotten higher refunds you can google and verify everything I've told you Google Obama tax credit 12.00 then changes to 8.00 in Jan its not a cut

  • WHAT THE ..?

  • i'm republican but this is the most ridiculously biased video ever.

  • I just think it's going to get harder and harder to con intelligent people with this kind of SUPER-SCARY OMG rhetoric. Folks have generally grown more media-savvy and cycnical over the years (perhaps because of hypermediation), but beyond cscaring old people and dumb people, I don't really see this tact working. Like at all. Folks can fact check with a click of a button now. We can easily check non-partisan entities like Politifact and Factcheck(dot)org. This is not a good thing for GOP goons.

  • "Personal freedoms will decline" and "the government will grow" is downright fucking hilarious coming from the party that illegally wiretapped us and ballooned the size of the government (and our debt). Eat shit, republican party.

  • @JDorsey2001 Coming from the party that right now the DOJ wants to be able to search peoples emails without a warrant.

Google backs Yahoo in privacy fight with DOJ

Please do some research didnt Obama renew the patriot act?

Yeah Bush increased the size of Gov but remember when he did it was bad now that Obama is doing it much more its acceptable

When Bush left office Jan 20th u owed 56k for your share of the debt. Today you owe 89k in 2020 you will owe 170k I'll take Bushs debt over Obamas

  • @JDorsey2001 haha... ballooned the size of the debt? Oh come on, do you even pay attention to your president? He set a new record for spending in his first year and his plans will TRIPLE the debt in 10 years.

  • @unipantherfreak He's your president too, buddy. That talking point about the current administration "tripling the debt" is bunk, by the way. The CBOs figures show the public debt increasing from $7.5 trillion at the end of fiscal year 2009 (which ended Sept. 30) to $11.6 trillion in 2014 and $14.3 trillion in 2019. Thats an increase of about 55 percent in five years and 91 percent in 10 years, far less than a tripling.

  • You stupid GOP assholes.

98% of working families have got a tax CUT under Obama!

You're paying the LOWEST amount of tax per household for 50 YEARS.

  • @BucketMachine

Not to mention the wealthiest are still paying less than ANY TIME SINCE 1931. And what does Obama want to do? Roll back W's ill-advised tax cuts on the wealthiest individuals, back to the rates from the early 90s. You know, the rates that W's daddy approved. Why gosh!! Bush Sr. MUST HAVE BEEN A SOCIALIST. OR FASCIST. OR COMMUNIST. or what the hell ever. Face it guys, your rhetoric and your ideologies are bankrupt.

  • and if yr freaking out about a cigarette tax and a tanning tax, well, grow up and quit smoking/ tanning. these aren't mandatory, you over-tanned, hacking losers.

  • your self-caused skin and lung cancers stress the system for everybody.

  • So in other words, BucketMachine = OTM.

  • @BucketMachine No one got a tax cut they got a tax credit 12.00 per check in Jan it lowered to 8.00 credit not everyone got that much.

Now you also owe today about 30k more from the day Obama took office. Democrats have increased taxes by 670.341 dollars in 2020 you will owe over 170k for your share of the federal debt.

Not sure why you people are jumping up and down over maybe 400.00 that ends this year

  • @BucketMachine No you didnt you got a stimulus check that instead of being 1 time was spread out over the year.

  • hahahahahahahaha. wow....just, wow

  • Now that the government has fixed Social Security, Wall Street, Public Education, saved GM and Chrysler they need to start fixing the government of all its own waste and corruption. Boy Oh boy, I can hardly wait for them to fix all of our problems just like they have done so well in Russia, Cuba and China.

"We don't have a trillion-dollar debt because we haven't taxed enough; we have a trillion-dollar debt because we spend too much." -- Ronald Reagan

  • Oh my god.

    This is hilarious.

  • 'CAP AND TAX' IS BACK! Senate climate bill to be unveiled April 26 and if you dont think every single american will be paying for that you are naive

  • @Flamesdupont

    *meow*

  • @TheConcernedPatriot Yeah kinda hard to keep repeating Bush cooking the Intel with the quotes democrats before him saying the same thing

  • @Flamesdupont

Saddam was a bad dude. Everybody hated him. No question. But you will never, ever convince ANYONE that this wasn't solely Bush/Cheney maneuvering & disinformation to get cover for an illegal invasion. Never.

  • @TheConcernedPatriot Then you can explain Bill Clinton and the rest of the democrats saying the same thing Bush did before Bush came into office. Use some common sense. Do you think Bush some how messed with Clintons Intel? Do you think Bush told the Cia while Clinton was president hey make Clinton believe Saddam has wmds.

  • @Flamesdupont

In the initial stages of the war on terror, Tenet insisted in his personal meetings with the president that there was no connection between Al Qaeda and Iraq, Cheney and Rumsfeld initiated a secret program to re-examine the evidence and marginalize the agency and Tenet. Through interviews with DoD staffers who sifted through mountains of raw intelligence, details of how questionable intelligence was "stovepiped" to the vice president came to light.

  • @Flamesdupont

Cheney wanted evidence that Iraq was a threat.

At the center of the administration's case for war was a classified October 2002 National Intelligence Estimate that found evidence of an Iraqi weapons of mass destruction program. But Paul Pillar, one of the report's principal authors, now admits to FRONTLINE that the NIE was written quickly in a highly politicized environment, one in which the decision to go to war had already been made.

  • @Flamesdupont

no, I think, as does EVERYBODY ELSE IN AMERICA who's not a nitwit, that Cheney made this decision, forced the CIA's hand, and sold it to W (not the brightest bulb) under the guise of bein' a cowboy, savin' Amurcans and praisin' the Lord. These people are all either a) really dumb b) really evil, or c) both. That's it and that's all. Now wine some more about this bullshit video.

  • and the worst part about all of this is that the Right's ostensible leaders - Palin, Bill Kristol, Limbaugh, et al - still haven't learned anything. They are still advocating going and blowing other people up, policing the world, telling other countries "do as I say, not as I do." It's really, really bad foreign policy.

  • Which again proves: they are really dumb, or just really bad people. Or both.

  • actually, I should amend that. They advocate policing the world, blowing people up, BUT never actually PAYING for it. Hell, if we're going to spend so recklessly, I guess I'd rather have ummm health care. And I say all of this as one who has voted GOP. But never again. Not until the reckless numbskulls are all chased out.

  • @TheConcernedPatriot Palin nor Kristol nor Rush is the leader of the right. Micheal Steele is the head of the RNC.

  • @Flamesdupont

OK you have got to be joking. Steele is a feckless tool. I suspect he won't make it two more years as Chair. If you seriously don;t think Limbaugh, or even Palin, has more sway over GOP opinion, then you are truly deluded.

  • @TheConcernedPatriot So You just ignore the words of Bill Clinton talking about attacking iraq Cheney is now the one that made the decision. Yeah you arent any of the things you listed. This has gone far enough you are into conspiracy theories have a nice day. Just keep repeating republican bad democrat good and you'll be just fine

  • @Flamesdupont

BILL CLINTON DID NOT ILLEGALY INVADE IRAQ. I mean, he still sucked, but he did not invade Iraq. Your red herring is starting to stink. And what you refer to as "conspiracy theories" are all verifiable facts or direct quotes from people who were there.

The way you stick your fingers in your ears and say "lalalalala" when people present you with facts make me think that you should be the RNC chair.

  • Hell, maybe you are. Steele, is that you? is "Flamesdupont" your sock-puppet??

  • @TheConcernedPatriot yeah you caught me lol Tin hat anyone

  • @TheConcernedPatriot Like I said you just keep going around thinking it was Bush that cooked the books. There is nothing no one can tell you that you will think otherwise. Bill Clintons own words saying the same thing Bush did. Heck Obama continuing the war. Nothing else matters Heck you could get access to classified info and it wouldnt change your mind. So there is no point now wanna talk about this video if not have a nice day
